Whistler Development Ski Rental Package

Black Tie Ski ski rentals are in my view one of the best in Blackcomb/Whistler. I use the Blackcomb store as its so close to our prefered hotel. Annabelle and all her team are extremely experienced, helpful, knowledgeable, understanding and quick reacting. I originally had one set of skies which were a fraction too long for me, I wanted to alter the length and for the powder days we head (lucky me) and they were brilliant, souring overnight what was needed and had them ready the next morning. Their range is good and I was lucky enough to get practically a brand new set of Blizzard Anomaly 88's (which are brilliant by the way). Excellent communication, fair and reasonable on price, offering a discount due to an extension of hire (which they didn't have to do). I have used others in the resort on previous trips but these guys are really hard to beat. Will go back in 2027!

Le Vai Rentals a car rental in Apia Samoa was provided my family and I an amazing experience. We got a luxury van for an amazing value and such an amazing couple for their superb services and were so accommodating as our flight arrived in the early morning and no prior travel experience in Samoa they offered to accommodate us and more prior to our hotel check in time and also for extension of our car rental. Thank you Le Vai Rentals for our amazing trip experience! HIGH RECOMMENDATION to book cars with and will definitely book again.

Highly recommend these guys. We have used them several times and they have provided consistently good and reliable service with friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff every time. In previous years, my wife and I have picked up and dropped off at their store which was convenient to where we were staying. This year we stayed at Creekside and they delivered and picked up our skis to our door and were punctual in doing so. Great personalized service! They keep a record of the skiis and boots that we have rented each year which has been very helpful for successive rentals. The quality and suitability of the equipment has been consistently good. Overall excellent!!

Tried their customer service but got bounced across multiple telephone numbers. Especially the one in the receipt had a wrong number! I felt that I was in a candid camera or that this was a hoax.

I hired Skis with the help of Rachel Davidson at reception the Sundial Hotel. They were fitted by Jacob in the ski shop under the hotel. I had not skied for 9 years. Jacob gave me excellent advice, he was friendly and knowledgable and completed the fitting efficiently. He advised me to use a more comfortable boot due to my medical needs and these boots were the most comfortable I have ever skied in. The skis were also perfect for my needs. I was able to leave my skis at the shop each evening and my shoes on the last day. Returning the skis at the end of the two weeks was also very smooth and all the shop staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had not used Black Tie before. Their communication was excellent throughout and they arrived on time at our hotel for our fitting. The Black Tie agent was helpful and friendly. The equipment was modern and in very good condition. My ski boots were brand new. Returning the skis at the end was easy. Overall an excellent experience and we would use Black Tie again.

From the moment Tori and Matt arrived at Delta Marriot to sort out our boot and Ski hire to thelast day we handed them back, we had excellent service. We had to visit the shop near Blacks to replace equipment from our lost baggage, and Fergus and Jake were amazing. Your friendly and fun whilst professional approach to helping a disappointed family really helped get our holiday off to a flying start. Highly recommend.

I rented skis for two days while staying nearby at a hotel in Whistler. The staff was extremely swift and kind while preparing my rental. I would use them again if I end up visiting Whistler again to snowboard or ski.

The service was prompt, courteous and inspired confidence. Only flaw was the raggedly worn chin straps on the helmets.

One of the best rental experiences I have had. The entire team is so friendly and accommodating and made me feel like a VIP every time. At the start of my trip, the team delivered my snowboard to my hotel room, even bringing multiple boards to inspect and select from. Thereafter, I changed frequently between snowboards and skis depending on weather conditions and each time, I received amazing service. They would look at the forecast with me, consider best alternatives and plan the coming days, even recommending further swaps as the conditions changed. This was an amazing team which was genuinely interested in giving me the best possible experience and putting me first. They were also cheaper than the Whistler Mountain rentals and offered a wider range of brands and models. Special thanks to Justin, Phil, Max, Zac, Ed & Coral for always looking after me. Will gladly use Black Tie again and strongly recommend to anyone looking for equipment rental on their next ski/boarding strip.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating… offering for us to come and pick up our skis the day before our day on Whistler mountain. Great service… allowing us to hit the slopes faster. They also kept our info on file as we were renting from a different Whistler location later in the week! Would definitely rent here again!

Easy and accommodating rental experience. Gear was a good shape. Was able to take a rest day and not be charged as well as return a day early as I bought my own gear. Would rent from them again as well as recommend them to others.

We have been renting with Black tie in Telluride, CO, USA but this year we decided to visit Whistler, BC, Canada and rented with them again because they are the best. Great service and best equipment. They brought the equipment to our hotel and picked it up after our last ski day. If you skip one day you just let them now and they won’t charge you for the day. I highly recommend Black Tie.

My excellent first experience with Black Tie last week in Whistler will certainly not be my last. Every touch point with their team was exactly as it should be, from the initial call to discuss what I needed through to their follow-up, billing, delivery to my hotel lobby as scheduled at 8:30a, to the ease with which I got the skis and poles back to them (I just left them with the front desk, as planned). To my surprise, when they showed up for the initial delivery, they brought three different sets of skis for me to choose from and then consulted with me about which would be best based on my ski skill level, the current snow conditions, and my preferences. Top quality service and the skis themselves were excellent. I visit Whistler at least once a year and Black Tie will now be my go-to ski rental shop.

I researched and found this to be the cheapest rental delivery package in Whistler with no extra charge for the delivery. They responded immediately to my emails before and during my stay. They also allowed me to keep the skis for 3 days and only charged me for 2 days since I was taking a day off of skiing in between. They were very accommodating when I decided to add an additional day at the end of my trip. On the final day I was able to leave the skis at the hotel for the pick up. I would 100% recommend this service. They made my stay super enjoyable and stress free. Thanks again!

I've been using Black Tie for years and the service has always been exceptional. This time in Whistler, we rented a slope side condo and I just gave them the address and they found it! On time, they came into the foyer (masked - thank you for that!) and the two techs fit both of us in a few minutes. Skis were newer/this season's and well maintained. After our last day, I just called the number they provided and left the skis outside the condo for pickup.

Used BlackTie in Whistler this past week and the service, quality of gear and pricing was fantastic. Can’t imagine waiting in line at ski rental when for comparable price they will come right to you for drop off and at end of skiing trip they pick up all the equipment from your place. Wouldn’t do it any other way on future trips.

I always use Black Tie Rentals, they take what is otherwise an intimidating and inefficient part of the ski trip (the worst part) and turned into a welcoming, efficient, professional and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Their representative was super gracious and put my partner totally at ease. Door to door, 1:1 service in a quiet corner of the hotel lobby. No lines, crowds, waiting…great gear, and competitive pricing!

Staying in the Sundial we were given a generous discount and the staff were excellent in helping our three year old enjoy his first ski experience. Jacob was super helpful, friendly and relaxed with our little guy. So conveniently located at the ground level of the hotel why would you go anywhere else.

we booked this online along with our travel package. There are some basic options to choose from, price seems fair. Was a surprise to have them show up at our apartment door with all equipment, ready to fit all of us out. What a service. Equipment for entry level is mostly from last season, so a bit banged up. Better level package gives you less used equipment, except for boots: these were all a bit banged up.

Black Tie arrived bang on time. They were well organised (we had 8 people to fit), the equipment was great, and they spent enough time with each person to make sure they were comfortable and happy with the equipment they had. We arrived in Whistler late evening, so the ability for Black Tie to come to us first thing in the morning and fit everyone out meant we could get on the slopes first thing and not miss any valuable ski time. Highly recommended. We will be using them next time.

I found Black Tie on Google. After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor I was impressed so I booked our packages online. The booking process was easy. They arrived promptly at the prearranged time to our hotel. They had four people fitted in new equipment quickly. They made great recommendations for us. My boots didn't feel right after the first day on the hill so I called and they came back with a few different options. My son also swapped out his demo boards to try different options and they were happy to come and take care of us. We left our equipment at the hotel ski valet and they came and picked it up. I would highly recommend Black Tie and I will definitely use them again.

We have been using Black tie Rentals for a some time now and it is always great. The service, the help, the flexibility and advice from their staff. I can only highly recommended it. Only this time in Whistler we found the children´s boots a bit worn out, i can only think it was due to the high demand. Thank you, we will be back for sure.

We rented six pairs of skis and three boots. They delivered to our room (with plenty of options) on time. The staff was knowledgeable and made appropriate recommendations. They were very accommodating when I switched out my skis to take advantage of changing conditions. It was fast and convenient and, believe it or not, cheaper than going through the mountain. We will definitely be using them again. I highly recommend Black Tie Ski Rentals.

The fitting service is extremely convenient! However, the bindings did not release on my first tumble. Instead my tendons did and now face surgery and months of rehabilitation. Lesson learnt, go to a shop where you can see them servicing the equipement.

Blacktie makes the whole process of renting skies, boots and poles easy from start to finish. Freindly and prepared staff. They came with several boot sizes to make sure both of my young kids could find a boot which fits. Having them come to our condo to delver the equipment makes the process so much easier and quicker, especailly when you are tired from a long day of traveling. I highly recommend them.

The staff were very friendly and professional. They had to have another tech deliver a different set of boots to me and I felt they tried hard to get me a boot that I was comfortable in and they made it happen that evening so I was all set to ski first thing in the morning. ! I was very pleased with the staff and the equipment. Service was great from booking to return. Additionally my GF hurt her foot pretty bad on the first run of our first day and she (we) were thrilled that your company understood the situation and gave her a full refund. Highly recommend this company. We got our rentals delivered to our hotel at 9pm. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did take their recommendation for a size 8 boot, but regretted it in the morning and went to the office for an exchange the next morning. The exchange was super easy and again great service. As a group of 4 pp we purchased the affordable package and my husband got the premium package ($25 more). All 4 of us got the same boots and my husband got K2 Ski's and we got Rossignol. All excellent quality, but not sure it's necessary to pay for the premium pkg as the ski's, poles and boots were identical as the affordable pkg. Eitherway, amazing service - highly recommend them!

Black Tie deliver skis and boots to your door - it was 7:30 pm at night which worked with our schedule. They were prompt and speedy. It was painless. Everything fit but they had a number of options just in case. Highly recommend them!

We arranged to have our ski equipment fitted at our rental property and the guys arrived at exactly the time requested and quickly and efficiently fitted our group of 6 adults. They were extremely knowledgeable about the equipment and also provided lots of useful information about the best skiing options available on both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. We were encouraged to try out the equipment and to get it changed in resort if we had any issues with anything. Two of our group had to take up this option and were treated very professionally and with quick efficiency the swap was completed. The return of the equipment was also effortless. I would recommend this ski rental company to anyone wishing a first class, professional fitting with top quality equipment provided.

This was such a great way to rent skis. No waiting in long lines sweating while trying everything on! Delivered to your condo/hotel/rental, fitted there. Then when your all done they come and pick them up. Saved us at lease a few hours of standing in long lines at the rental place. They were on time and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

We were very happy with the service provided by the Black Tie team in Whistler. A very professional, informative and friendly fitting service with good equipment. They were happy to change my daughter’s boots after a day for a larger size and were very responsive. So convenient having them come to our lodge to drop off and collect.

We have interacted with multiple staffs from booking to fitting, all of them were friendly and helpful. Dealing with them was very pleasant. We booked online, set a date and time the day before ski, they came to our hotel room to delivery and fit the equipment. In the last ski day, we just left the equipment in the hotel locker room, notified them and they would come pick them up. All equipment are in good condition. We highly recommend Black Tie Ski Rentals and I will tell all my friends and families this as we were previous unaware of this service.

You want to change the equipment? Done. You are arriving late/early? They'll accommodate. The fittings in the room based on your prior usage and their pickup after the rentals are incredibly convenient for families that travel with kids like us. It's also convenient for those who just don't want to waste time waiting in countless lines to rent and then to return equipment. I can't speak highly enough of Black Tie Ski Rentals. The process is easy - book online before you go and arrange a time, they bring the gear to your door for personal fitting. We have 4 skiing and the fitting took about 40 min in total. Whilst there the fitters, Jen and Brock, also gave us some really helpful tips on Whistler/Blackcomb which we valued. They also offered to return the ski's and boots back to the store at the base of Backcomb Gondola where they could be stored to save us carting them back to the Villa each day. Booking online before we went also saved us money. The quality of the equipment was excellent - some brand new and others only used once or twice previously. Great value for money (compared to other ski hire in the area) and service that couldn't be better.

We booked Blakc tie ski rentals for our family ski holiday in January 2019. Black tie confirmed by email prior to arrival and met us in our hotel room to fit our skis and boots. We stayed at the Fairmont so on return we just left our skis with the hotel = too easy!
