Whistler's Hidden Gems Tasting Tour - 4 Restaurants 1 Fun Evening

Fantastic way to experience multiple restaurants for a short trip and such a fun and informative night even some games along the way. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend

The food tour was excellent and so much fun with Carol. Not only was Carol fun she was extremely knowledgeable. I have been on a couple of food tours and this one topped them all. Carol was GREAT.

A real highlight of our trip to Whistler. Tristan was so welcoming. We learned so much about Whistler which was unexpected - it was so much more than the food, which was also awesome!

We had a blast! The restaurant stops were very good but more importantly, the company and our host Carol, made the night one to remember. The concept is just the kind of thing you want for a vacation, a little indulgent and a little adventurous. Carol is a fabulous host, not only is she generous with her knowledge about Whistler, but she is also welcoming and engaging with every participant. This was an excellent way to get our bearings in Whistler, visit a few delightful restaurants and spend an evening out with new friends.

Love being able to expierence different restaurants and hear about the town from the guide! The food was delicious and guide very knowledgeable.

We had a wonderful time on the Hidden Gems tasting tour in Whistler. Our guide, Carol, was wonderful. She was so engaging and had broad knowledge of the area and history. Playing a “poker” game along the way was quite fun and got us a little competitive. All of the restaurants were great! Wonderful food and fantastic staff. We would highly recommend this tour for those who like food and want to learn about the Whistler Village area. A+!

Carol was a super guide - energetic, attentive, and knowledgeable. In 3.5 hours, six of us ate at 5 stops. We tried two appies, one main dish, ice cream, and lastly a dessert. As a fine tuning, I'd suggest skipping the ice cream and replacing it with an interesting drink or cheese sampling. A fun evening of eating and chatting with fellow Whistler tourists.

I loved all 5 of the stops on this tour. The Apple/carrot soup at alto bistro and Caramba were my favorites, but so was the 2 desserts. I would definitely go again.

A good way to get to know some things about Whistler and to orientate yourself. Useful to know where everything is and to work out favourite eating spots.

The guide was great, and the first two restaurants were excellent—we actually went back to both. The food and service at those spots were outstanding. The guide surprised me with flowers after overhearing that it was my birthday, which was a very thoughtful touch. The last three stops were just okay. In particular, the main course and dessert locations could use some improvement. If the quality of food and service were consistent with the first two restaurants, I would absolutely recommend this experience and would go again myself. However, in its current form, I likely wouldn’t recommend it.

Such a fun way to experience Whistler! Carol was a great guide, super energetic, engaging, and made it easy for everyone to connect. The food was delicious, and the restaurants were incredibly welcoming. A really enjoyable experience overall. Highly recommend!

Well thought through itinerary with Tristan, a very knowledgable and has a fun and entertaining style. Food throughout ranged from excellent to good, we had the wine pairing which was worth the extra except for one, whose wine was below par compared to other high quality tastings. Great way to learn about Whistler and where places are located, it’s all so very compact and walkable.

We had a wonderful time with our host, Carol, and visiting each of the restaurants on the tour. The food was very good and we enjoyed meeting the other guests. I would highly recommend.

Luke led us on an amazing tour through Whistler with wonderful morsels all along the way! Luke has a wonderful knowledge of Whistler B.C. and a fantastic wit and sense of humor to make for an amazing night! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

We did the hidden gems tour tonight with Tristan. He was a lovely fellow who knew his stuff about Whistler and his trivia card game made my husband and I competitive. The restaurants, and servers and owners/managers were very welcoming and attentive. The food fantastic. My recommendation - don’t eat for a week beforehand. Would highly recommend this tour.

Our group of 3 enjoyed a wonderful evening food tour at the start of September. The selection of food was fantastic and it gave us the opportunity to visit venues in Whistler we might not have otherwise known about. Carol was very knowledgeable about the area and was great company!

This was such a lovely and intermit experience, me and my partner were in a group of 5 and what better way to get to know each other than over a glass of wine and 5 restaurants. The restaurants we were guided around served us some lovely local food! The best part for me was our host, Christine, she was so enthusiastic and very knowledgeable and a great team player! Everything about this tour is a gastronomic delight, your taste buds will approve! We met with Carol, had an overview of where and what our evening would include and began our walking talking tasting sipping eating tour of amazing restaurants! All the restaurant staff were so nice, very accommodating on a busy evening for some of them, and happy to welcome us! This tour had seafood appetizers, fish or duck dinner, a sweet bite and dessert. We tasted wines, had a glass of wine with dinner (or not) and dessert. Carol is awesome! She makes sure we all have a fun and enjoyable experience! Be sure to mention if you have food allergies when signing up for the tour as the restaurants will accommodate you!

We have been going to whistler annually for over 20 years and this was our first time at all of the restaurants except the Rocky Mtn Choc Co. The food was absolutely magnificent, from the amazing app platter to tapas to dessert. And although Rocky Mtn could give more than the sliver of fudge for the whole song and dance they had our guide do to push add'l purchase of chocolates - all the other stops were hip, fun, and weren't trying to upsell, which was nice. We even got a few unexpected treats from kind servers on an easy night. Our guide was fun and funny, and everyone in my hard-to-please family found something they liked. We would definitely recommend this tour to others.

My spouse and I did this tour for the first time ever and we have been coming to Whistler in the winter for over twenty years. Definitely a great way to taste food from 5 different places. We have eaten at many restaurants over the years but we found two new places we will go back to again. Our guide was Luke and he was delightful, full of lots of trivia about Whistler and fun as well. We joined a couple at Whistler for the first time and two other couples who knew each other but we all chatted and shared Whistler tips and great conversations as well. Come hungry and ask for boxes if desired and they will be provided to take food home.

OUr family of 3 really enjoyed the night out in Whistler on the Hidden Gems Dinner Tour. Our guide, Christine, was delightful and full of fun stories and interesting facts about the area. There was a nice variety in the 5 stops we made and who can argue with not one but TWO stops devoted to dessert! Our favorite stop was Caramba Restaurant - the pan seared Calamari a la Plancha and homemade house Ricotta were our favorites and out of this world!

This was a great experience, a lot of food! Great way to see other restaurants in the area and play a hand of poker!

My daughters and I really enjoyed the tour and are happy that we did it. Our guide, Laura, was very friendly and gave us lots of info on the restaurants and history of Whistler. She also took photos for us throughout the tour which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend coming to the tour with an empty stomach as there is a LOT of food - much more than we could ever eat. There was a good variety of restaurants and food. We were very thankful that we were able to box up the cheese platter from our last stop so we could enjoy it later. We would definitely recommend the tour to others.

What a wonderful way to check out different restaurants in the Whistler Village. We had a party of 4 on Friday 3/11/22 and our guide was excellent. We chose the wine/beer tasting to go along with the food and that was great as well. The walks between the venues were a nice break between courses. Our guide had us play a card game that quizzed us on the different stops along the way. Would absolutely recommend this to any visitor.

We enjoyed the Whistler tasting tour. Our guide Christine was just amazing! There were a couple mishaps on the tour but the owner went above and beyond with exceptional customer service including full refunds for all of us which we weren’t expecting. Can’t wait to try it again next time!

AWESOME!!!! My daughter and I loved each of the restaurants chosen and their food offerings. It was a lot of food and we enjoyed the brew and wine parings too. We returned to Rogers Chocolates to take some home. Our guide Andrew Bacon was FABULOUS. He gave us lots of information about Whistler. Took opportunities to take pictures of my daughter and I at the Inuksuk and at the Olympic Rings. He was hilarious and kept us entertained. We loved him. This is a must do.
