Whistler's Finer Things: 4-course Dinner & Champagne Sabering

A wonderful food and wine tasting experience in Whistler! The food was delicious, the venues were lovely, and our tour guide made the experience engaging and enjoyable. Such a great way to explore Whistler’s food scene—highly recommend!

Whether a party of two or more, the entire experience is a one-of-a-kind treat for all of the senses.

We booked Whistler Tasting Tours for one of the main activities during our company retreat, and it exceeded every expectation. Our guides—Carol, Steve and Tristan—were absolutely fantastic. They kept everyone engaged, handled our group of 54 effortlessly, and by the end of the tour our team was literally hugging them goodbye. That's probably the best testament to the experience. As the event organizers, one thing that really stood out was how easy they made everything for us. We mentioned that we'd love to grab an impromptu team photo, and Carol immediately took ownership, organized the entire group, and made it happen in front of the Olympic rings. It was such a thoughtful touch that we'll really appreciate looking back on. The food was outstanding, the champagne sabering was an unforgettable highlight, and the pace of the tour was spot on. Everything ran so smoothly that we were actually able to step back, relax and enjoy the experience alongside our team—which is rare when you're organizing an event for 50+ people. The feedback from our team has been overwhelmingly positive. We've had multiple people say they'd do another Whistler Tasting Tour again and again. Our internal event coordinators have a very high bar for well-run experiences, and this one cleared it with ease. We couldn't recommend Whistler Tasting Tours more highly!

We had an amazing food tour with Stephen! It ended up being just the two of us, which made the experience feel really personal. Stephen was an excellent host, knowledgeable, engaging, and he tailored the tour to our interests. Everything was well organized, the food was delicious, and Stephen made it extra fun with trivia along the way and a final poker game. We couldn’t recommend this tasting tour more highly!

When booking this, I really thought more of my husband and myself, even though we were traveling with teenagers. We travewith our kids and they are used to going to more adult like events. They’re 16 and 19 years old. And even though this had a wine pairing portion of it, which you could out of for my teenagers, my KIDS and my husband and I had an ex extremely wonderful time. The food was absolutely delicious. And the wine pairing extraordinary, but we made everything more than perfect. Was our tour guide, Carol.

Really enjoyed this experience. The wine cellar was amazing place to see. The food was delicious in all the different places Tristan, our host was great, keeping us amused with little quizzes on the way and giving us plenty of information.

Worth every penny! Carol was a very good guide. She was fun and very well organized. The restaurants and food were all excellent. Great to meet others on the tour and got to learn more about Whistler and area. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time on the Finer Things Food Tour with our guide Carol in early March. We had the opportunity of trying several restaurants in one evening, none of which we had been before, and get a better sense of where we would like to return. Carol was also super informative about Whistler and the Whistler Village as well. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and all of the restaurants. Bearfoot Bistro, Hys, Quattro, Rocky Mountain chocolate and Firerock lounge. Would absolutely recommend booking!

The food was terrific at every stop. The tour guide, Carol, went out of her way to make this a fantastic evening. I would do this tour again at the drop of a hat.

seeing the wine cellar and ice room at Bearfoot Bistro was a totally new and interesting experience.

The guide was a lovely local. The first stop was amazing deep in a wine cellar. The next was nice but the wine pairing was just wine of happy hour and not really paired, just provided. The main course was ok but not discussion of local influences and the guide was not at the table during the food. Last stop was great with live music but again under rated food , the ice Wine was good to try. Overall not worth the money.

Christine our guide tour was very knowledgeable, she answered all our questions. Super easy to talk to. The other couple was a. Perfect match with our personalities. Christine went way out of her way to answer questions.

What a great way to learn the local history and explore some of the local dining areas. Christine was our guide and she worked hard to assure we learned the history of Whistler while enjoying our local tastings. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The restaurant selections were great and the food was fabulous. We stopped at five stops and added the wine pairing. Highly recommended!

We did not know what to expect and it far exceeded our expectations!! I though the choice of restaurants were excellent, loved that you could choose what you like and I would definitely recommend the wine paring. My husband and I had a great time on our Whistler Finer Things Tasting Tour. We’ve done several food tours in the States and Europe and this tour ranks very high on our list of “Best Food Tours”. Luke was a great host - entertaining, knowledgeable about the Whistler food and wine scene and just an overall great guy. We enjoyed the “ progressive dinner” style of the tour which started with a visit to an incredible wine cellar. Surprises and amazing food around every corner. Definitely recommend!

Our guide Luke was very knowledgeable of the area and its history. We play some fun games identifying wine and answering trivia questions. We met some couples from other parts of the world and enjoyed some great food and wine.

Excellent tour and definitely a must for all the foodies out there. We also paired drinks with our food. Luke our host was knowledgeable about whistler and the food and drinks we had. Sabering in barefoot bistro was a definite highlight. Also enjoyed the other restaurants we went to as we would never have had the opportunity to try them all. We visited 5 nice restaurants accompanied by a great guide- Christine- who led us very expertly through the village. The experience not to miss was the sabering of the champagne bottle in Bearfoot Bistro. The wine cellar is pretty impressive in Bearfoot as well.

The Bearfoot Bistro, Hy’s Steakhouse, Quattro Italian Restaurant, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and the Fire Rock Lounge were all awesome! We really enjoyed the appetizers & wine at the Barefoot Bistro and Hy’s Steakhouse. Our main course was at Quattro and it was so delicious!
