West Kelowna Wine Tour

Our West Kelowna wine tour with Vivid Tours was a highlight of our trip! Our guide was absolutely amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and so much fun. They made everyone feel welcome right away and brought such great energy to the day. Their enthusiasm and local knowledge made the experience feel special, and we loved chatting with them between wineries. Being picked up and dropped off right at our Airbnb was also awesome! It made the whole day so easy—we could relax, enjoy the wine, and leave the driving and planning to someone else. Beautiful wineries, delicious wines, and an incredible guide. We’d absolutely book with Vivid Tours again!

West Kelowna wine tour was a knockout. Highly recommend if you are visiting Kelowna. And this company was amazing to work with. Easy to book 8 people on a wine tour, driver was great and super fun. Beautiful day, can't wait for the next one.

Participated in the West Kelowna full day tour. The pick up was prompt and on time. The van is clean and comfortable. We stopped at 5 wineries with varying degrees of success in the wine department. Black Swift - couple of good wines Hatch - nothing good here Mt Boucherie - couple good wines Volcanic Hills - nope The Gallery Winery - excellent rosé Generally we were surprised that with a captive audience you’d think the wineries would want to showcase some of their better wines but that’s not the case. Joshua was a great host. Go for the camaraderie as you’ll meet some great people on the tour.

The date was 27th May 2026. There were 6 ladies in our group, total 12 on the tour. It was a full day tour. Ben was our guide and nice enough. At the beginning, Ben helped some of the ladies with a hand to get out. However, later on in the day, not so much! After a couple of wineries, some of our group had difficulty getting in and out of the vehicle as there was no step to climb onto/ step off the vehicle. This was due to various reasons that come with aging. When we asked Ben about this, he said something like, it wasn't allowed! In my opinion, there should have at least been a running board. When we were being dropped off, whilst my friend was getting off, she lost her footing and fell backwards onto the driveway. There were no grab bars, which was already a hazard! As a result, she grabbed on to the rubber beading around the door entrance, which came undone and she fell backwards. Meanwhile, I was helping another lady in our group get off the vehicle when this happened. Ben was not there to help the ladies, he was sitting in his seat! 😳 I understand that most of the people on these tours are young and able, however, West Kelowna is a retirement community for the most part, and this should be taken into account when allocating a vehicle. Also, the guide should be instructed to assist the passengers whenever they are getting on and off the vehicle, especially in the absence of a step/running board, as going the extra mile (pun intended)! Additionally, my friend Darci Hawley, who booked the tour was sent a list of wineries so we could pick our 5 wineries, which we did. However, on the day, I think only 1 of the wineries that we picked was included! How does this make sense? We pay for a tour, however, our choice of wineries are not given any consideration? This is not acceptable! It was most disappointing, and put a damper on what was otherwise an enjoyable day. We were celebrating one of our friend's birthday, which was why we decided to go on a wine tour.

Very good way to spend a day checking out wineries of West Kelowna without needing a designated driver.

We did not know what to expect, having never experienced a wine tour before. We all really enjoyed the different wineries, from posh to down to earth. The wines were varied and the info shared was interesting. An exceptional part of our experience was our guide Joshua. He made our experience quite special because of his easy nature, his additional interesting tidbits (do ask him about his Ogopogo sighting if you get a chance!) and his willingness to accomodate additional questions. We’d highly recommend this tour!

Vivid Tours provided a highly professional booking process, communication was fast and we had a great time on our West Kelowna Wine Tour. Our luxury touring vehicle was spotless and controlling the audio made the day even more perfect. I highly recommend Vivid Tours.

I have done wine tours in many locations and this was well done. Our guide was knowledge, warm and friendly, and accommodated all our wishes. The wines were good, as were the new connections we made during the day. Weather cleared, and the day was super enjoyable. Bought some wine also!

What a fantastic day! Casey picked us up at our hotel and we joined a wonderful group of people from Canada, Germany and Ireland. Such a pleasure to chat and drink wine with these lovely people. Stunning vineyards, great lunch at Bouchards but the star host was Diane at volcanic. So knowledgeable and obviously passionate about wine and the Gidda family she works with. Also, Casey our guide was wonderful. He has the most difficult job of keeping us all together and he did it so well we barely noticed! It must have been like herding cats. Awesome day!

Absolutely amazing experience with Vivid Tours. Our guide Don was the best. Great music and always smiling while he ensured we were on time and kept us in line all day lol. We’ll be back and will ask for Don…Sweet Caroline!!!

Was such a great day! Everyone in our group had so much fun, and our driver was amazing. The van was so fun to cruise around the city in and we got to go to all of our favourite wineries!

The full-day tour of West Kelowna was exceptional, with our guide Shilo ensuring that we adhered to the schedule. We had ample time to enjoy the various wineries, making the experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, the prompt pick-up service contributed to a seamless day.

My husband and I had a lovely wine tour in Kelowna with Vivid Tours. Our tour guide was Don. He kept us laughing and singing all day and had endless stories of his time in this lovely part of Canada. The wineries we visited were all lovely, I especially enjoyed the charm and character of the Hatch Winery while my husband enjoyed Frind Winery the best. It was a great way to spend a day before we left the city of Kelowna and carried on with our journey across Canada. I would highly recommend the professionalism and care Vivid Tours took in creating a great day for us. Thank you !

We’ve used Vivid Wine Tours several times now and can’t recommend them highly enough. We’ve explored Lake Country, Naramata, East Kelowna, and West Kelowna with them, and every tour has been a perfect blend of top-notch wineries and guides who are not only passionate and knowledgeable about wine, but also incredibly fun to spend time with. We had a very pleasant day along the West Kelowna tour. 6 family members getting together for the first time in years and we laughed, sang and enjoyed the day while learning about wine in the Kelowna area. Our tour guide Ben was solid and always available to lend his knowledge of the area and local culture. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Kelowna for a vacation that wants to learn about the local wine industry and taste B.C. wine.

Thank you to West Kelowna Wine Tours, who we booked for our wedding party in September. Melanie was a great host with her shuttle, on time, decorated and included water for everyone! 4 of us ladies flew in from Alberta and booked the 5 winery tour. Steve was an absolute angel. From the warm friendly greeting when we boarded to giving us suggestions for dinner. He is very knowledgeable about the area and winery’s. He had the best playlist! He even sent it to me. He took amazing pictures of the whole group of 12 and made sure we stayed hydrated. The winery’s were amazing and lunch was great. Highly recommend this company!

Was my first time doing a wine tour with vivid, and honestly I have no complaints. Grange was our driver and he was absolutely amazing. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed in the 30+ weather, very wholesome and courteous. He offered any of us to play our own music if we wanted which was amazing. If you’re ever wanting to do a wine tour with vivid ask for Grante. Bonus, he’s an amazing photographer!

Vivid Tours and our tour guide, Grange exceeded our expectations. It was a perfectly planned stress free day that allowed my girlfriends and I to just enjoy and have fun. We really appreciated the comfortable ride and great playlist, that Grange was a local and knew so much about Kelowna and the wineries, we had a tasting table waiting for us at each winery so no fuss about having to make our own reservations or waiting in line, Grange was there waiting with a marker and a box to label any wine we bought and carry it to the van, we never felt rushed. Most of all, really appreciated that Grange took photos throughout the day for us and then shared them after - made it so easy. I could not recommend them more!

Our entire experience with Vivid, from the customer service to the tour itself, was absolutely fantastic! Our guide (Adam) was amazing, the staff members at each stop were friendly and knowledgeable, and you can't beat the views. Definitely recommend the full-day West Kelowna Wine Tour.

Booked East kelowna. After paid booking amount we got call next day. That we have been shifted to West kelowna winery tour. Team member assured me to cover summerhill winery in East, for which I came all the way from India. While paying booking amount I was totally unaware of policy that Company has right to change location of tour. Only thing I liked about tour was Lunch at Mt.Boucherie. Over all not happy

We were 5 of us celebrating a family birthday and had the same guide for our private tour on 2 days touring the wineries … Sach was our guide and helped make our experience very special .. He went above and beyond and even took all our photos for us on both days .. would definitely recommend!! If you do book, I would try and ask for Sach .. He is the best !!

We had a great time with Grange as our guide! We had 3 young children with us, and Grange was amazing watching them and giving them things to do while us three adults had our wine tastings. He brought us to Frind, a winery we hadn’t heard of, but one that ended up being the absolute highlight of the tour. Overall, a great experience I would recommend to anyone!
