Excellent tour and Henry our guide was very informative. Good range of wines to try at 3 very different wineries. Lunch was very tasty and perfectly adequate in portion size.

Well worth it...the only negative was it would have been great to have been able to exit the bus and take pictures at the Malahat viewpoints.
Driver/Guide was very knowledgeable. Beautiful scenery with narrative while driving. Wineries were good choices.
Wonderful wine tasting at 3 different wineries. Scott, our driver, was excellent! Would definitely recommend!
The wineries we visited were all very good. We were disappointed in the snack at Unsworth. The snack was small and should have been prepared for each 2 person group. Sharing food with people you don’t know is uncomfortable! The girl doing the talk at this winery was not great either. Blue Grouse was great and the lady/owner at Cherry Point was incredible!! The driver did a great job but should possibly have a mike so when talking on the bus all can hear. Overall a great experience.
Great tour. Great guide. Don’t make me enter too many details I hate all these surveys. I almost stopped
We were supposed to go to Cowichan valley, but the Malahat had an accident and we would have been delayed several hours, so our guide pivoted and arranged 2 wineries and a cidery in Saanich. It was a great trip. Guide was very informative. Both vineyards were great. The cidery was good but the staff there could have been a little more informative.
Excellent tour. Wine tasting was great. The people on our tour was amazing from around the world. Scott was an incredible tour guide. Thank you for a wonderful day!
A great way to spend your time on Vancouver Island. Three different wineries with distinctive wine styles.
Beautiful country and scenic spots along the way. Driver was like a tour guide. Wineries were very friendly.
THEY CANCELLED ON ME AT THE LAST MINUTE!! Do not book with Canadian Craft Tours! I booked a wine tour 2 months ago, paid for it, travelled over 2,000 miles and was looking forward to a day of wine tasting. Canadian Craft Tours cancelled on me via *email* less than 24 hours before the tour was to begin. I had already received my tour vouchers via text and had thought we were good to go. They should have CALLED ME to let me know they were cancelling the tour and offered another option. Instead I learned that it was cancelled after the shuttle was due to pick us up and I called to see where they were. I was informed that other customers on our tour had cancelled at the last minute (not part of our party) so therefore they were canceling the entire tour and offered no solution. The person I spoke with (Dave?) was very unapologetic and acted like it was not his problem, leaving us out of luck for the day. That is horrible customer service. And as of today I have not received a refund for the amount I paid. I highly recommend NOT BOOKING with Canadian Craft Tours and using another company. Even if they are more expensive, at least they would be reliable.
We had a wonderful and informative tour - the 3 wineries were all unique. The variety of wines and food was excellent. Our tour guide Scott was awesome and really did a wonderful job from the pick up , to the trip and return journey - the vehicle was spotless, and we were very happy with everything!
Our tour guide Kim was absolutely fabulous. She provided a very thorough orientation, described several points of interests and historical background along the route. Kim was very clear on what to expect at each winery stop. During our wine tastings she checked in on us at just the right times. The ride home created the right ambience for all. I highly recommend Kim for your wine tours. Her play list of music is amazing.
Server appeared disinterested in offering politeness and the tasting area was blah. So was the charcuterie board. The bathroom was clean and the view outside was lovely.
The tour meet in front of the Empress Hotel not across the street. This was very confusing. It did get sorted but wasn’t a good start.
We enjoyed the wine tour very much! Scott was a wonderful guide and we loved how knowledgeable he was and knew so much history about Victoria, Canada in general and the wineries. We loved the wineries that we visited. The charcuterie board at Blue Grouse was exceptional and the views magnificent! The owner at Cherry Point guided the tasting and was very knowledgeable and shared some interesting information. It was a beautiful day with perfect weather. Scott was also a very careful driver which we appreciated!
Scott took great care of us. The trip out he explained the geography around us along with interesting bits of Canadian history. The wineries were OK but with our preference for red wines we cruised thru the tastings. Our parent couple happened to be great. All in all it was a lovely day. Cannot emphasize enough that Scott is super competent and very caring. Give him a big raise!!!
Cherry Point Winery is personal, entertaining host/owner and Interesting! The group of 18 was fun. Would recommend this tour.
Fantastic experience!! Was a great variety of wineries and wines, our guide Scott was personable, helpful, punctual and professional. The charcuterie board at Blue Grouse was amazing - so tasty!! Had a wonderful time!! Would absolutely recommend and take this tour again!!
Excellent trip with Kim, loved the wines and the music. Would recommend this jaunt if you love a local wine from BC and seeing the countryside.
Scott is a fantastic tour guide. He's very friendly and outgoing. He explained everywhere we went and sights to see.
Lots of fun with no hassle. It was nice to leave the driving to someone else. We visited 3 wineries, a small one, a medium one and a large one. I ordered an extra personal pizza at the second one and it was excellent. We had a nice selection of wine tastes at each stop. The scenery of the wineries location in the Cowichan Valley was very beautiful. I went solo but had a nice time connecting with international visitors and locals.
Great winery tour. Scott was very personable and informative, efficient and adaptable. Cherry Point was a very personable experience at a smaller winery with tasting overseen by the owner. Only minor negative was a few things re Blue Grouse visit. It was rather impersonal, with no history shared as I remember and wine descriptions rather technical. Also, seating at picnic tables was not great ambiance and not so good for those needing back support. Charcuterie there was a bit skimpy given it was lunch.
We had a great day on this tour to the Cowichan Valley. Scott, our guide, was friendly and easygoing, and the van rides between wineries were comfortable. The timing at each stop was well organized — since we were quicker at some tastings, we ended up with more time at others, which worked out nicely. The charcuterie was a nice touch, and the wineries themselves were beautiful. Just know that tastings in Canada are fairly small pours (about 1.5–2 oz), so if you want more, plan to buy a glass or bottle. The charcuterie was tasty, but I wouldn't consider it a replacement for a full meal, so it helps to have a meal before or after the tour. Overall, a really nice experience and I’m glad we went. I’d recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a relaxing way to explore the valley without worrying about driving.
Scott was an amazing tour guide, he gave us a complementary tour of Victoria. We visited 3 wineries and all were amazing - cherry point, Unsworth, and blue grouse
Fantastic tour. Scott our driver was great. Funny and full of great information on Victoria and its history. The wineries had great selection for tasting. Very happy I booked this. Totally recommend.
It was a fun tour - great guide, convivial participants, a good variety of wines & wineries. Our favorite was the Blue Grouse both for the wines & food. We esp enjoyed the guide’s playlist although our karaoke singing might have been improved with the addition of a screen displaying the lyrics at the front of the van.
We had a wonderful experience on our wine/ craft beer tour in Victoria. Our guide Scott was funny and informative about Victoria. I would not hesitate to use CCT again and would recommend them to others. Here’s what I liked about CCT: 1- we arrived at 1:30 from our cruise and CCT helped design a tour to fit our schedule because we also wanted to get dropped off at Butchart Gardens. 2- good communication. When you arrange a private tour from a cruise you are always a little anxious but not with CCT. They provided text messages leading up to date and called before we existed the ship with specific meeting instructions. 3- all the places visited knew we coming and were prepared. It might be good to preorder food for each place.
When we booked, the description stated that this was a small group tour with a max of 15 people, but there were 25 people not including the tour guide, which was disappointing since I wouldn't have selected this excursion if I knew that would be the case. We had bad luck and our bus broke down on the mountain (unclear if almost double the group size crammed on the bus played a role), resulting in an hour and a half long delay before a new bus was provided. The wine pours at especially the second winery were so small that many of us joked about there only being 2 sips worth of wine per pour. The other passengers were lovely though.
Fun visit of wonderful vineyards in Victoria. Timeline was held within a casual atmosphere. Fun and relaxing and informative.
An excellent guide who pointed out things of interest along the way. We visited 3 wineries in the beautiful Cowichan area of the island. At the second stop we were provided with delicious charcuterie platters to go with the six wines we tasted. There were only 5 people on the tour so it made for a friendly and enjoyable experience.
The experience was great, the wine not so much except the first. The owner was very proud of his winery 🍷
Kim was fantastic. Very genuine and informative She also had a great playlist of music while we drove out to the wine region. We really enjoyed 2 out of 3 of the wineries. Our first stop at Cherry Point was very disappointing. We have done many wine tastings over the years and he poured such small tastings that we couldn’t get a taste or sense of the wine. Then we ordered a glass and paid $15 for 4 oz if you were lucky. A rip off, quite frankly. The following 2 vineyards were fantastic. Great views, great staff and a wonderful Charcuterie board at the second stop. Third stop, again great views, wine tasting and we even got to keep our wine glasses. All in all an almost perfect day for wine tasting!
As soon as we got on the bus, Kim put on her playlist—it was the perfect background to a very scenic drive. She was super knowledgeable and answered all the group’s questions with ease. After the first winery, everyone started to loosen up. By the second, the bus was chatty and full of laughter. By the time we finished the third winery, we were all joking around like a group of old friends. This is exactly what I needed for my little weekend away. Kim was fantastic, the tunes were good and we all had a great time—at least I did!
Colin was a great host and very knowledgeable. The venues had good selections and friendly staff. The grounds were picturesque. Would definitely do again!
I enjoyed seeing the island and enjoying the wines. It was very easy to catch the wine bus and explore the island. The wineries were very friendly and inviting. Our tour guide Kim was awesome. Highly recommend
Tour canceled the night before scheduled day. Was contacted a few days beforehand asking if we could switch days due to needing 4 people minimum for tour. Contacted again saying that another couple signed up for our day. Then night before they said tour guide called in sick. I can't say for certain but sounds like guide may have just bailed out due to it not being a full tour. After all, their tips would make up a large portion of the money they make on a trip. Disappointed. We have signed up for two wine tours thru TripAdvisor, and they have both been canceled by a "sick" tour guide.
Great wine tour. Perfect amount of time and wine! The tour guide is was excellent and we learned a lot at each winery. Great choices.
This was a lovely tour of Victoria Island’s Cowichan region, including 3 wineries. Kim, our tour leader, was very nice, drove prudently and was very attentive with our group. The wineries were gorgeous and the wine tastings were deliciously paired with charcuterie at winery where we had our lunch. And it was a gorgeous day too!
We had a great experience. The fall colors were so beautiful. The Cherry point and Blue grouse vineyards were the best!!
Colin was an excellent guide on the tour, we visited 3 winemakers, the abosolut best visit was at Cherry Point, Xavier is a very passionate winemaker, and makes a lot of great wines. We will visit him again and buy more Wine 😀🍷 Blue Grouse and Unsworth is much more business and the wines are not the same level compared to Cherry Point
Beautiful scenery, beautiful day, good wine, great tour host ! Colin was an amazing guide. The crafters were so nice and shared a lot of great info. Highly recommend .
They were all beautiful and the wines were good. My only suggestion would be to have instructions on ways to ship wine back if want to buy some .
The three wineries we visited we’re all different and had some interesting stories. Also the view the pictures and the background on the wineries was very helpful. Also appreciated the frequent stops. Thanks Kim for a good job and leading the tour Gordon.
Beautiful day to drink wine. Kim set up the day and kept us on track. Beautiful island scenery. Three distinctly different wineries, each with great and unique wines. Thanks for a great day and for showing us where the brew pubs were on the way back!
Good tour 1st winery was not good Other two were excellent. Driver was bery good and made sure we were having a good time
We had Kim, and she was amazing!!!!!!!!! She was so accommodating and had a great playlist :) we all had so much fun 1010 recommend! Thank you
The tour was good. Colin was great guide upbeat and informative. We went to 3 wineries we did prefer the 2nd one over all but each had its own character going for it. The accommodated one of our party being gluten free easily just had to ask.
We had an amazing time on our wine tour. Our tour guide, Kim, was amazing and very tolerant of our bus-wide singalongs. The first stop on the tour was Cherry Point Estate Wines. Cherry Point had my favorite wines. Their Ortega is not to be skipped. The next stop was Enrico Winery. The land at Enrico is so beautiful and picturesque. Plus they offered sangria and frozen wine drinks, in addition to the wine tasting. Our last stop was Unsworth Vineyards. The grounds at Unsworth was very beautiful. I just wish we had more time there.
Wonderful day! Beautiful ride out of the city with Colin, our fantastic guide. The wineries were all charming and delicious. Highly recommend this activity!
