We learned so much about the history of Victoria. It was a great experience; great food, fantastic guide. Highly recommend it!

Great tour around beautiful Victoria with our guide Emile. We thought the food and drink stops were just right for a walking tour but don't expect a buffet - they are snacks. Emile was informative, knowledgeable and funny and the tour had a nice atmosphere. You cover a bit of ground but unless you have mobility issues you should be ok. Victoria is great and we plan to revisit.

Very enjoyable and small size walking tour which saw things would otherwise not have done. We thought the cost was a bit high for a walking tour but when we included the ferry, various nibbles and alcoholic sample drinks we thought it was good value. The guide was very informative and pleasant. Highly recommend.

Fish is an exceptional tour guide and a genuinely warm, welcoming person. His deep love for Victoria comes through in everything he does. At one point, he noticed a tour map that had been randomly discarded on the ground by another visitor, stopped to pick it up, and placed it in a trash receptacle. That small, completely spontaneous gesture spoke volumes about his pride in the city. Not that this happens often…Victoria is stunningly immaculate, and it’s a rarity to see any litter on the ground. As Fish points out local landmarks and shares fascinating historical context, he also finds time to get to know the people on his tour. His questions never feel intrusive…just casual, natural, and sincere. He has a wonderful ability to make everyone feel included and personally connected to the experience. Locals and business owners seem to recognize him everywhere he goes, and he may be teetering on celebrity status! Honestly, Victoria should appoint him as an official community ambassador. Fish doesn’t simply show you the city…he helps you understand why he loves it so much. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and highly recommend his tour.

Our guide, Fish, walked us through China Town and main shopping area of Victoria. We took a water taxi across the harbor, too. Lots of historic information and wonderful food samples. We had a wonderful afternoon. Highly recommend.

We were educated and entertained throughout our tour. Our guide Fish was fantastic… knowledgeable, funny and passionate about his city and her history. The tour also included several refreshment and bites stops at great, unique local establishments. We travel to Victoria often and were left wishing we had experienced this tour previously. Highly recommended for any Victoria visitors (or even locals who would appreciate a fun reintroduction to the city’s history, sights and flavours).

Great tour guide with an extensive knowledge of the city's and province's history, ready to answer any questions. We enjoyed every stop with the unique tastings. This included 2 local delicious drinks. The snacks were tasty, especially the shrimp. Of course, the chocolate treat at the end was the icing on the cake! Fantastic value for the price we paid. Just a tip for additional things to do: The Ancient Egypt at the Museum just a few steps away was also worth the trip.

The tour was okay, it was not a lot of commentary during the walking portion only at certain locations. The stops at the eats and drinks were good. Over all if you have nothing to do, go try it out.

Our group visited Victoria and loved the Bites and Sights tour with Emile. He was so entertaining and interesting. The food bites were fabulous, some of the best food we had in Victoria. We highly recommend this tour and Emile in particular.

My family and I did the Victoria Bites and Sights Walking plus Ferry Tour. Our guide was Emile Bouffard, and he provided us with so much interesting information about Victoria. It was just the right amount of time to learn a little about the city since we only had one day to visit. Emile did such a great job that my husband and I would love to come back to Victoria when we had more days to explore it. It is amazing how much information he told us without missing a beat. He kept the tour moving at just the right pace-not too slow nor rushed. He also suggested a store where we found some unique items made by the locals in BC.

Emile sets the bar high for tour guides! Thoroughly enjoyed his whimsical and historical walking tour, complete with performance of Robert Service poetry. The restaurants we visited were popular spots with tasty dishes to share. Beware of seagulls!

This was a memorable tour during our cruise stop in Victoria. We got to know the whole city, loved the little snacks along the way and enjoyed the ferry, too. It was a great deal as well!

Such a delightful walking tour. They keep the tour size small anyway, which I appreciate. But we went mid week and ended up being the only ones on the tour, so super fun as we could ask whatever questions we wanted. We went on the Bites and Sights with Bronwyn and had a great time. I always appreciate a walking tour that includes nibbles as it gives you the opportunity to sit for a bit, and the food was divine and plentiful. (Scheduled at noon so we could count it as lunch.) Bronwyn was so knowledgeable and great to chat with. We got lots information about the area’s history, as well as insider tips for places to eat and tour for the rest of our stay in Victoria. (She also prompted us to take photos so we have some nice memories of the tour and the city.)

This was a fun tour with a delightful guide named Fish. He showed us around and entertained us with a mix of history and modern day stories. Delicious food bites and sips too. Definitely recommend!

The tour guide was excellent, but the amount of food we had was minimal. We were satisfied with the walking tour but disappointed with the food part of the tour.

Tour was a good introduction to Victoria if you are here multiple days it would be worth it. Down side was 45 min wait for water taxi! Dave was great.

If you want an in-depth history of Victoria experience, Julie is the best guide! Even better, she chose interesting places for our "bites", deliciously made with local ingredients. I would have enjoyed more time for bites and a little less time on history.

Did this tour at night and it was beautiful with everything lit up. Started with a water taxi and then walked around to different places and got to sample some delicious food and a beer. Shout out to our guide Garrett, he was super nice and helpful. It was a nice way to see Victoria when you are short on time.

We had a wonderful city tour and ferry ride with Julie with four adults and five of our adult children and their significant others. She was fun and informative and took us to the neatest places for the most delicious bites and beverages (no poutine here!).We only had a day in Victoria but would love to come back and stay for longer to explore more due to what our amazing guide showed and told us. Highly recommend!

Our tour was fantastic! I had contacted the company to see if they had evening options our cruise ship wasn’t porting til 6:30pm. They opened up a special tour for our group. Fish, our tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable, fun and even helped us capture some amazing group pics. Highly recommend!

This tour is wonderful, informative, AND delicious! We especially enjoyed Garrett and his enthusiasm for his home city and its history.

Informative. Guide knew his history and very friendly. The food was amazing drinks are small but perfect size because of how many stops we had. The restaurants knew in advance we were coming so no waiting at all for food or drinks.

We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the water taxi ride to chinatown. We heard some delightful stories about the history of Chinatown and had some good bites at Drake's. Although there wasn't much in the non-alcoholic range to drink, the hummus and focaccia bread were delightful. Later we had three delicious shrimps and a wonderful cocktail involving Bailey's all in the beautiful setting with a former bank building turned into a restaurant and bar. At the end of the tour we stopped at Rogers chocolate shop and had a delicious chocolate cream item. All in all an experience well worth my time and the money.

Michael was a fabulous tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and easy to follow. The bites were tasty, and we returned to one of the restaurants later for a full meal.

Nice leisurely walk around a beautiful city. Stoped in a couple of places to have drinks and snacks as part of the package. Enjoyed the history of Victoria shared by Emile our guide.

We had a cruise stop in Victoria and was looking for something different to do as we have been to Victoria many times. We were not quite sure how the tour would be, but Emile was an awesome tour guide. He engaged with all the customers and was very easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable and did a good job dealing with if someone had a physical limitation or did not drink alcohol. It was a very lovely and not rushed day. We are now looking forward to finding out Hidden Tours.
