Great tour guide. Tim was very knowledgeable and friendly to our group. The van was comfortable and spacious.

Excellent tour with Tim: 3 excellent wineries and very enlightening and enjoyable history and insights along the way. Highly recommended!
The Driver was awesome. We were supposed to get a lunch, but due to electricity outage we went to a different winery with no lunch. The pours at that winery was also very small. It might have been because they didn't plan on a group showing up.
Tour guide was great Knowledgeable and friendly He knew the wineries and the history of them and the area
Tim is absolutely fantastic! Very friendly, relatable, & knowledgeable. I had a wonderful experience! The vineyards/wineries themselves were also great choices with excellent varieties in respect to the terroir.
Great guide and great day. Tasted a lot of great wines. And the history and information was wonderful.
Tour exceed my expectations, host was informative and professional, we had ample time at each winery and was overall a memorable experience.
We had a great time! Our tour guide Tim was amazing, very informative and entertaining. The wineries were beautiful and inviting and it helped We had perfect weather that day.
We had an amazing time with our friends visiting from the UK! Norm and Chou were fantastic as host and driver and we loved the knowledge and energy of Krista at Township 7. Highly recommend!
Kevin is a great tour guide. We enjoyed the small group tour. By the end everyone was a friend. The wineries we visited were all very good. The settings, service and wines were all excellent. The first stop at Backyard winery included a wonderful charcuterie board...plenty of food for all. Our last stop was at Chaberton Estates winery, the oldest in Frazier Valley. The wines were great and our host, Ed, was fantastic.
Kevin Williams was a wonderful guide. Great wine tasting. The drive to the winery’s was not too long. Highly recommend.
A great way to taste some local wines in the region & leave the driving to a great Tour Guide “Kevin” Backyard Winery was our favourite with tasty charcuterie board to enjoy!!
Canadian Craft Tours cancelled our event the day before we were supposed to go. Not much notice to find another activity.
Tour was on time. Van was clean. Tim was a very informative guide. Stopped at three vineyard in Langley, BC. Lunch was ample and tasty. Each location had its own unique ambiance. Service was knowledgable and friendly. Good trip. Set expectations for wine quality appropriately.
Oh my gosh, what a beautiful tour we had! 🍷🍷 great wineries and wonderful group of people we shared this tour with. ❤️ Our driver Caroline was amazing!! I will definitely be referring friends to do this tour if they are ever in the Vancouver area.
When I think of a wine tour, I think of being guided through the fields with explanations of the different vines and how they grow. Visiting the cellars, again with explanations of the process from grape to wine. This tour only took you to the wineries to taste their wines with a short description. The wineries were very nice and some had good wines. Our driver was very cheerful and pleasant . The van was comfortable. This was a wine tasting not a wine tour.
We experience a wonerful day trip to the Frazer Valley Wineries (just an hour and a half out of Vancouver). Our guide was Daniel Doaga an experienced tour operator who drove us to three wineries. He was caring and knowlegble about the wineries and the towns we drove throught on the way. WE were surprised by the variety and quality of the wines produced. All in all a great experience and would choose Daniel when next in Vancouver for another tour,
Overall experience was amazing. The people were very friendly and the driver was excellent. Definitely was a really good first experience for a wine tour. If you’re going to buy bottles of wine bring a bag to carry them. Would absolutely go on another tour.
Tim our guide was very knowledgeable and took us to 3 different places. There was plenty of time to taste and look around at each place. Lunch was a cheese and cold meats platter which was very filling.
Our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed the Fraser Valley wine tour. Tim was our guide and he did an excellent job. He’s very knowledgeable and personable and made the trip very special. We were able to go to three wineries and at one of the wineries they served a delicious light lunch charcuterie. We have all decided we would enjoy going back and seeing more of Vancouver and doing the wine tour again. Thank you for a great experience. The wine tour was fabulous, Tim our guide was very knowledgeable about Vancouver, it’s history, Fraser Valley and surrounds & the wine growing region, his knowledge regarding wine making & different wines was sublime & ensured we had a well informed interesting but fun day. World class. Five stars ⭐️ for Tim the Tour Man 🤣🤣
I’m not sure where all of the “5 star reviews” are coming from for this tour. It really makes me question not only the tour company but also Viator. I will most likely not use either of them in the future. My wife and I have both done tours before of this type in other places around the world and they were much more enjoyable. Good: The tour guide was the best part. Mike was very friendly and for the most part interacted with people and guided things along. He did a great job. The Bad: The three vineyards we went to, were spread out very far with long drives in between. I don’t know if it’s because they are more favorable towards visitors, but ultimately it was ALOT of car ride for something that logistically could have been more organized. In that length of time you really could have easily hit 4 or 5 vineyards and had more value vs driving 30 mins to 60 mins between stops. Our tour had 16 people. Way too many. 8 of those were a wedding party that was obnoxiously LOUD the ENTIRE time. And when I say loud, I mean: “Oh my ____! Did they really teach you THAT in sex ed?!! ____!!!”. So yes, between them screaming out cuss words to be heard over the van and the high pitched squealing and laughing and dialogue it was insane. No filter, no consideration for others.. just a bunch of young women acting worse than sorority girls. I’m not opposed to people having fun.. it’s a friendly vineyard tour. But they were over the top. The Ugly: I mentioned logistics of the tour… but first time trip to Vancouver- there was very little direction as to where the van was meeting. “Across the street from the Lions Pub” is not sufficient. All of the other people going found us looking as they were looking and we banded together to decipher where we were suppose to be. The van that pulled up was ridiculous. Dirty white van with no identification, falling apart and the AC not working. Yeah.. I’m sorry, but what we paid for a ticket.. do better. All of the other tour companies had sleek vans pull up and load people around us. This was like watching a 1990’s jalopy pull up in a line of sleek 2023 tour vans. Ridiculous. When we figured out that was the van- everyone was hesitant getting in. It looked sketchy. Truly- for what we paid- we really could have rented a smooth SUV and driven to each location in 1/2 the time and saved money. The vineyards were “ok”. I wouldn’t say the best in Vancouver. Again, not really sure why those got picked. Very little info given on Vancouver considering all of the people were from other places. All in all- if you’re interested in going to this sort of thing.. rent a car and drive. Or go with a company that does a private tour for 8 or less people. This was a hot mess.
Highly recommend! Done it twice in the last few weeks and had a great time! David was an AMAZING tour guide and highly recommend him!!
Visited 3 wineries. Got a quick tour of the first one. Tried 5 wines at each place which was good, with a bit of choice. Kevin drove us. He was friendly enough. Did not really learn much, more of a tasting than educational.
What a great way to spend a day off, There were 10 people on the bus and the driver was so knowledgeable and nice. we went to 3 wineries in Fraser Valley , Glass House a unique winery, Back yard with snack lunch included, and Cavallo which brings its grapes from Napa Valley. I will do this tour again and again.
Our guide (also our driver) was excellent, very knowledgeable and kind. The 3 wineries we visited were welcoming, offered very good wines to taste and we very informative. I didn't feel rushed and felt there was enough time to visit all 3 wineries. The only downside was that there was another party on this tour and somehow it was misunderstood that we were one party altogether. After the first winery we clarified that we were 2 separate groups coming on one bus so we could have attention to our particular needs. It would be helpful to let the wineries know that there were 2 different parties one the bus that day. Other than that, I highly recommend this company and its tours.
Our guide, Chris was very friendly and informative. He took us to a variety of vineyards with different specialities and vibes. We had a great time I’d recommend bringing your own snacks because the light lunch was more like a light snack
Very interesting tour, nice lunch. Every winery has its own way of making wines, and we learned about that. The guide was very nice and friendly.
I visited Vancouver for my friends Birthday and booking this wine tour was a perfect opportunity to spend time together! Brent, our driver was very knowledgeable and kind! He took us to three wineries which we throughly enjoyed! I would definitely recommend taking this wine tour if you are in town.
We enjoyed an amazing wine tour with Brent as our guide. I celebrated my birthday with friends visiting from out of town and it was such a wonderful experience (and in my backyard). I love supporting local and playing tourist in my own city. Thank you Canadian Craft Tours!!! Until we meet again…
What an amazing experience, we went to 3 different wineries and they all had something that was different about them and amazing wine. Driver was knowledgeable and sweet.
This was an excellent tour! Having all the travel and reservations arranged made the day a breeze and allowed us to just enjoy it. Our driver, David, was so helpful! He was always making sure we were having fun and would step in to take photos when we needed :) Each of the wineries we visited were very different and so enjoyable!
All the wineries were great. Our driver David was fantastic. Would go again as everyone had a good time.
We had a wonderful day visiting 3 Wineries in the Vancouver, Fraser area that included a very tasty charcuterie lunch . Our guide and driver Jordan was super friendly and had lots of knowledge about the surroundings and wineries. It was a birthday celebration and it was a lovely way to spend the day. I would definitely recommend taking the tour.
This tour company went above and beyond the entire time! Mandy made the booking process extremely easy and answered my millions of questions. Greg our driver was AMAZING and so accommodating! He was always there ready to explain the different wineries and always helped with photos! Need a group shot? Ask Greg! All of the tours were amazing even during this difficult time with covid. We did find one venue really unorganized and they tried to charge us for the wine tasting but Greg figured it out! Overall we ALL want to book another tour with this company!
We went on off season, December 1, 2019. It was still very enjoyable. We went to 3 wineries and 1 cidery with a group of 5 from around the world. Guide Scott made it 6 in total and he was very informative and personable He also showed us pictures of a vineyard in full bloom from a tour in the early fall. Our tour was during the time of pruning and dormancy, so it was nice to have examples of the times with all the color. Wines were all drinkable and some very fine. Lunch was a Charcuterie Board fill with very delicious cheeses, meats, jam, some fruit, marinated veggies plus assortment of crackers. At one winery we sampled their jams and were so impressed. This a must do tour for those that have the time and enjoy wine.
This was a birthday surprise from my boyfriend after I had enjoyed a tour in the Okanagan. I was really excited to be able to experience something similar with him and to learn more about our local wineries in our area. The pick up was painless, the bus was clean and air conditioned. Our driver knew a lot about the current sociopolitical climate, and while driving us down East Hastings made very clear the problems that Vancouver was facing. To my boyfriend and I, it's no big deal, but I wondered how the groups from Britain and South Africa thought of it. The first winery was really pleasant, especially the grazing platter and tour at the first winery. The other two were really quick, in and out, and we seemed to arrive later than expected and had to be accommodated. The driver seemed to know everyone there so we were seated fine, but it felt a little rough around the edges. One thing that has stuck with me was that my boyfriend was the only man there, so I was only every referred to as "X's Girlfriend/wife/partner/whatever". I wish we had just found a friend to dd us in the valley, seemed like a lot of money for a talk about the opioid crisis and a reminder that we'll never be able to afford a home in Vancouver because of foreign real estate investment. I get it, I live here. 5 stars for Vista D'oro Winery thought, we'll be back on our own time for sure.
We have a great tour on Saturday, October 26, It was an opportunity to see another part of beautiful BC and enjoy local wine. We visited three great wineries, including Township 7 which was having a grape smashing event with teams dressed up for Halloween. Great fun. Scott was an excellent host and really helped us out by picking us up at our local hotel when the ferry service got us a bit behind. That was really appreciated. The lunch was quite nice. All in, a fun way to spend a Saturday.
The Driver, Charles, was the only reason this tour received this high a rating. There were only three wineries on the tour. Cheese and crackers were served on the first stop at 11AM, should have been later. The last stop was actually only for the jam as the three wines served were not wines form that vineyard. Not worth the money spent.
Excellent tour combining quality wines with an informative guide named Scott. Delicious lunch included. Scott was the perfect guide extremely knowledgable on the wines, the wineries and even provided a tour of the areas on the way to the wineries. Highly recommend this tour.
We arrived a day early for our cruise in Vancouver. We saw this option for a wine tour and had no real knowledge of the great wine region in BC. What a treat! We met our driver near Canada Place and joined 6 others and set off on our Sunday tour! It was just over an hour drive to Fraser Valley. Our first stop was at Township 7. We had 3 tastings at each stop and all the wines were great. At each stop we learned more about the Okanagan region and the varietals they offer. Fraser Valley is a small region but most vineyards there have larger operations in the Okanagan area. Our next stop was Backyard Vineyard and we had some meat and cheese to pair with our tastings. Next it was on to Vista Doro. This was unique in that we had our tasting in an old 1920's milking barn that was now home to a nesting Bard owl family. We had great tasting here topped of with Doro 2008 which was a delightful wine to finish the day. As we started home, our guide showed us a small concrete marker.and he told us that the marker was the US border. We drove down the road for a bit and the US was on one side and we were staying in Canada. We had a little extra time and we made a stop at a place that was a Farmers Market and a tasting room. We got a bonus tasting stop. We drove through downtown and made our way back to where we started. We had a great time and would gladly do it again!
Recently went on this wine tour, which was a really fantastic service and a great time! Our tour guide, Scott, was absolutely fantastic, sharing some really interesting information not just about wine making and the wineries, but also about Vancouver in general, and made the entire trip interesting. The wineries we went to were all very different, and they all went out of their way to make sure the people tasting the wine were having a good time and enjoying themselves, whether they were super knowledgeable about wine or not. I would recommend anyone who is looking to see more of BC and getting out of Vancouver, especially for tourists (as we were)!
This was such a fun and enjoyable wine tour. We visited 3 local wineries and all the wines were so tasty. Our tour guide Scott was awesome! Very knowledgeable, fun & positive! Would recommend to everyone who enjoys wine!
Thoroughly enjoyed our wine tour on Friday the 13th. The wine was wonderful and we had an amazing time. Thanks to our guide Jordan for going the extra mile, it was greatly appreciated!
Our tour guide, Sabrina, did an excellent job. She was very helpful and exceeded our expectations. The tour itself was wonderful and a great experience. It was a perfect escape from the city!
After a long search I found a small tour offering to Fraser Valley, that included wine tastings. We were picked up by Canadian Craft Tours' mini-van on West Cordova Street, in downtown Vancouver. Our tour had ten participants and one non-drinking guide/driver named Scott. He had us state our interests and preferences in the wine field. We then drove for one hour till arriving at Langley City and turned to Backyard Vineyards. At Backyard we were given a short tour of the vines and then led to an outdoor covered area for a light lunch. This included cheese, olives and crackers with four wine samples that followed, notably a simple sparkling red that paired very well with cheese. Lunch was followed by a two-person band playing country songs. Our second stop was at Cavallo Winery where wines are produced from vineyards in Napa Valley, California, followed by a third stop at Township 7 Vineyards & Winery, located in South Langley, where we had a top quality Cabernet Sauvignon. Four tastings were offered at each winery. One hour drive later we returned back to our original drop-off point at West Cordova Street in downtown Vancouver. TamiSmith, New York City
Scott was a great guide and the wineries were very clean and the wine was good. Special shout out to Back Yard for the meat and cheese board!
Had a lovely time. Cam, our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and process. Everyone was extremely friendly
Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took time to explain things and answer any questions that we had. The staff at each winery were also great at introducing us to the various wines. The whole tour was organized. Great time.
My wife and I took the Fraser Valley Wine Tour two days ago and both thoroughly enjoyed it. Of the two of us, my wife is much more the wine drinker. Nevertheless, there were wines I liked at each of the three wineries we visited, including wines we both liked (which is a bit of a miracle... we normally have opposite tastes in wine). And when there is a wine not to your tastes, they are very understanding about it. Everyone has their own tastes and they understand this. At each of the stops we also heard about each winery, about their history and their grapes and they are completely open to questions. It was a little rainy at times but that was also no problem. The tasting rooms are indoors warm and dry. Our host, Scott, was also very knowledgeable, both about wines and wine making but also about the city. He was very entertaining. I would most definitely recommend this tour.
