Everything worked out exactly as it was described. The trip was very nice and the ferry ride was very pleasant.

The pick-up was from the hotel in Vancouver and transfer to the ferry port. The bus was very old and dated. The bus driver was very hard to understand his level of English was not great. From pick up at the hotel to arrival in Victoria, Vancouver Island was 5 hrs approximately.
Driver was brilliant! Explained everything and made transfer super easy. BC Connector bus was first on and off ferry, quickest way to get there without flying
Very easy journey from hotel pick-up to drop-off in central Victoria. Pleasant bus driver. Interesting ferry crossing. Good value for money.
Very easy. You basically take a large van from the airport to the port. Then load on a bus which drives onto the ferry. The ferry is about an hr and a half. They have a huge cafeteria and we saw orcas. Then you board back on the bus and he drives you downtown
Really easy and simple. Views amazing from the ferry. If you want to travel at a slower pace I would recommend taking the ferry.
I didn’t know what to expect but getting off the bus on the ferry was super fun. The driver was very nice
It was all easy. The ferry portion of the trip was beautiful! It was a well-run operation. Drop off in downtown Victoria was convenient to many hotels and tourist attractions.
I highly recommend booking this bus and ferry transfer from Vancouver to Victoria especially for first time travellers to these places like us.
The tour guide was great. Good information about Gastowne. Food was a little underwhelming. Lots of stairs which probably should be added to the description.
Efficient way to get to Victoria from Vancouver. We were first on and first off the Ferry.
Longer than advertised. Several stops to load and unload on either end of trip. Bus was reasonably comfortable. Driver spoke very broken English so details provided along the way were foggy. Ferry is large and comfortable with nice shops and restaurants. Very good value overall.
We were not aware that we must get down the moment announcement shows up and missed the bus. Had to pay extra for my cab to reach to the bus station and get my luggage. However the support was great.
The coach was fine but disappointed with food choices on the ferry were lacking compared to past experiences.
If you are not traveling with a tour group this is probably the best way to get to Victoria. It takes about an hour and a half to get to the ferry. Our driver gave us excellent directions for getting to the various levels of the ferry and for getting back to the bus. The drive off of the ferry and to Victoria was quick. I would definitely recommend using this mode of transportation to get to Victoria. I would use it again if I ever came back. One tip, we were told to be at the bus station in Vancouver 30 minutes before the bus was scheduled to leave. This was not necessary. The bus did not arrive until approximately 10 minutes before the departure time.
Our driver Ed was skillful and funny for our trip. We really enjoyed his clear communication with the riders.
Usually good service - but airport attendant at desk tone of voice was like we were interrupting her when we tried to check in. Ride to ferry terminal fine but coach we were to transfer onto was very late and coach was not first to load ferry (not first off) but almost last. Worried we were going to miss ferry to Victoria completely. Shuttle driver unloaded us and said your coach was coming ; he said he has to load passengers getting off ferry to go to Vancouver Airport. Were we going to be left behind or stranded at ferry terminal? All for women drivers but passengers were loading luggage onto coach and off loading it in Victoria. Bus was packed- looked like every seat taken. Coach speaker not working well or driver didn’t speak well into microphone Would not recommend this particular experience to anyone. Service was better in other years
A seemless experience. So, worth the money. However, the bus occasionally runs even 40 minutes late not because of the drivers but because they make sure they get the customers. Be patient.
The shuttle to Butchart Gardens was not express, and way too much American History, (we're in Canada, visiting a Canadian attraction) the ride back to town was much better, quick and more relevant information.
The check-in person was great. However, the bus bathroom was out of service and the worst part our luggage was damaged by the bus driver. He mishandled our luggage resulting in a brand new piece with severe damage. This was the same for other travels. The driver wouldn’t allow anyone to get there bags until he was finished resulting in bags failing over into the street.
If you do not mind spending 3-5 hours this is an excellent option.Totally hassle free. Cost was reasonable.
Very easy process, and the ferry ride was nice. The overall transfer from Vancouver to Victoria could not have been any simpler!
The transfer from Vancouver to Victoria was seamless. The driver informed us as to expected stops, and time frames. He kept us informed about luggage arrangements, ferry arrangements, etc in a timely fashion. The ferry ride was lovely.
Easy Peasy. Found the bus at the Central Station in Vancouver. Follow the directions and you will be fine. The bus driver was great. Safe and careful. The bus drives directly onto the ferry. While you are on the ferry you must go upstairs to relax in the boat’s seating. Or you can walk around outside if the weather permits. You board the bus a second time just before you arrive at the port and then the bus drives all of the way to the Fairmont Empress in downtown Victoria. A++ all around. Great safe careful driver.
Well organised service, got off cruise ship, then a short walk to bus. Tanisha our driver was great.
The meeting point stated Vancouver international airport. Requested mor specific location over 12 hrs in advance but no communication until 2 hrs after we arrived and found the kiosk ourselves! Pickup bus had no heating Process was not fully explained as we had to change buses and drop off point not communicated. However we did get there and caught the ferry okay
generally good. drivers English could use some improvement. some passengers puzzled by instructions on reboarding.
I booked a ticket for the 9.30am bus but when I got there they told me that viator had sold me a ticket although the bus was already fully booked. Luckily I was able to get on the next one (2 hrs later) but if all the buses had been fully booked I wouldn't have been able to use the ticket. Don't use this seller! Buy directly.
The experience was a very positive one. Both drivers were very helpful and courteous. We would highly recommend this company. The trip over on the Ferry to Victoria was also very good. Having the Bus and Ferry on one ticket was the way to go and made for a stress free experience.
Our trip was convenient and comfortable. We were travelling from Ottawa and wanted to visit both Victoria and Vancouver BC. This was a comfortable way to travel between downtown Victoria to downtown Vancouver.
Viator sent us muliple messages asking us to be 30 minutes early for our bus-ferry-bus trip from Vancouver to Victoria BC. We got there 30 minutes early and waited for over an hour in the cold for the bus to show. Turns out the ferry had been cancelled due to bad weather. Viator never let us know and still haven't refunded us despite the fact I called and asked for a refund. Viator is very good at sending out multiple automated messages including the one to review them - so here I am. I would strongly recommend you not book with Viator since they are disconnected from the services they say they are providing and don't provide updates if there is a problem.
We weren’t aware that we had an hour wait at the train station. In the off season there are only a few stops so there is a large time gap between pickup and boarding the ferry.
The trip was fine but bus boarding in Vancouver was not as organized as it could be, noted were able to quickly retrieve a item that we thought was lost on the ferry
Nothing to worry about just get on the bus and before you know it are in Victoria. Relaxing boat ride.
The motor coach/ferry transport was pretty seamless. We checked in at the bus station and boarded at the prescribed time without any problems. Our luggage was handed appropriately and we were off! The ride to the ferry was comfortable and took a little over an hour. The bus drove onto the ferry and we exited the bus to go find seating. The ferry was ride calm and many passenger services were available. We returned to the bus after the announcement was made. Exiting the ferry was just as smooth as boarding. The trip to downtown Victoria was a breeze. The bus driver was super courteous and helpful but very difficult to understand (due to a strong accent). Our group had to ask other passengers for assistance in understanding the spoken information.
Good trip - very smooth with ferry and bus Was a little hard to understand some of what the driver was saying but understood well enough to be where we needed to be .. a very smooth trip
Efficient transfer from Vancouver to Victoria which allows you to benefit from the fantastic views from the ferry
This takes about 4 hours. It is cheaper than flying but is at time tireding. It is nice the bus goes on the ferry and is one of the first to keavr.
We left Vancouver without any issues. Sailing on the ferry was good. When we got off the ferry our bus broke down and we had to wait to get another one to collect us. We had limited time to visit Victoria and this lessen it due to our late arrival.
Easy way to get to Victoria! The bus goes right on the ferry, and your luggage is locked in the storage area of the bus. So keep any items you may need for the journey on your person.
If you need to transfer from Vancouver to Victoria, would highly recommend this as the way to travel. The experience of riding the bus you are on going directly on to the ferry without getting off, having your luggage stay locked on the bus while you enjoy the beautiful trip to Victoria and then having an easy bus trip to downtown Victoria was TERRIFIC!
Easy to access, smooth pick up, travel, and end point; friendly driver. Scenic, efficient, very pleasant ferry crossing.
All very straightforward. Bus goes straight onto the ship. Fabulous ship with marvellous lunch options. Spacious seating area. Tons of outdoor deck for those who like fresh air. When you get to the island it is back on the bus for the run down to Victoria.
It was easy getting on the bus to head to the ferry station. And our bus driver was first in line, making it easy for him to get right off. And the ferry ride was enjoyable.
Thinking about traveling from Vancouver to Victoria BC? This is the way to go. We love no surprises when traveling.
Great way to travel from Downtown Vancouver to Victoria BC, bus finishes at bus station in the heart of downtown Victoria. Hassle free, would recommend
Well worth the tour. All logistics were handled. You get on the bus in Vancouver ride onto the ferry - go to the passenger area and when the ferry ride is over get back on the bus and drive into Victoria- super easy!
Everything went like clock work, from booking to the completion of the trip, it was a very easy process and a great comfortable experience
It will be a smooth professional ride and great bus driver who was very friendly and helpful. The entrance to Pacific Station and washrooms and outside waiting areas , we’re disgusting.
Best way to travel from downtown Vancouver to downtown Victoria. Bus driver was professional and pleasant and the bus was comfortable.
