Took my nephews here and they fairly enjoyed it, fun and educational at the same time. Nice place to spend the afternoon with family and not to boring gor the adults either.

Overall a great experience. However i would like to point out that the garbage can for diapers in the 2nd floor washroom should changed frequently at least twice a day. The washroom smells so gross whenever i went inside in the afternoon.
Truthfully, it's kind of terrible to attend as an adult during regular daytime hours. Kids screaming and running around nonstop with no understanding of what it means to queue up, so you'll pretty much end up waiting in line forever, have kids run through you when your next up, and stand there regretting your decision to come at all. Unless maybe you want to discipline someone else's kid or tell off families for budging over and over again, but who wants to do that? A couple of exhibits seemed like they could have been cool to experience, but I guess the venue isn't really adult-friendly or anyone-with-basic-manners-friendly.
It was genuinely AWESOME!!! There was so much stuff to do and the science theater play was really funny. I loved it there and would definitely go again. Please note that for families with neurodivergent individuals, the Science Center can get very crowded and loud, which may cause anxiety in sensitive individuals.
So much fun and so much to do there! We arrived at 2.30 so all the trips were just about finished for the day, allowing us to do everything before closing time. It was so interactive.
A very beautiful site seeing area for family.
Way too busy. The younger kids get pushed and shoved around by unmonitored older kids. The things and tech are interesting to experience, that is if you are able to get to it. Wait for until your kids are older.
We visited this place with our 8y old, 5y old and nearly 3y old. They were all very well entertained for about 5hours. The play area is exceptionally good. We only left because they were so tired they could barely stand up any longer. It’s a really amazing place with so much interactive stuff to do. The bubble show was brilliant and very engaging for all three kids. We went on a sunny day - presumably it gets a bit busier on rainy days. Cafe could really use some healthy options.
This was my first time at Science world on a field trip, and it was a great experience because the staff was nice, had lots of interesting things, and had optical illusions. Next there was a coding class we got to do, which was also great because this is my 2nd time I did coding with a robot. Overall this place was excellent, and I would highly recommend going here.
Science world is very good experience specially for the kids. There is a lot of interesting stuff to learn. Time is well spent.I would recommend this for family with kids. The current exhibit about soccer is a bonus with the soccer ball as part of the World Cup display.
This is one of the uniquely designed museums in the world. I only saw this in the day, but saw many pictures of this building lighting at night. Take a picture from the opposite shore for a nice photo.
Greta interactive museum ! Lovely day out
Lots of very hands on interactive exhibits for infants to young teens, Very clever ways to teach science and technology. Restaurant prices are pretty reasonable but the snacks area is rather expensive, Free parking which was nice!
It is not shinny and new but my kids had a blast. There was a good variety of different things to see and engage with. We brought out own snacks and water, they had easy refill stations and food places if we didn't bring stuff. My kids would have stayed all day if we let them. For what we paid I think this was a great family adventure.
The Science World was very educational in all parts. It’s definitely a teaching atmosphere and you learn things you probably never knew
If I could have rated this attraction zero, I would have. We attended on a Monday morning at about 9.45am. We had purchased our tickets the previous day and had a text message and email with tickets which both had scan codes. When we arrived the lady at the desk appeared very uninterested that we were standing there and I showed her the tickets on my phone and she said wanted an email ticket. I opened the email (from their own booking system on their own website) and she said she wanted a .pdf copy? I had to go away and try to get the .pdf copy downloaded onto my phone and get it printed. I queried the need for this as there was no requirement for a physical copy of their electronic tickets. She eventually accepted their own electronic copy. This attraction was poorly signposted and the 10am show in the theatre was a no show. It may be interesting to children under the age of five but it’s not for adults, in any way. We visited 11 attractions this week and all of which were excellent and had really good staff. Science world? No. This location is at best a crèche with a public face that had some of the scariest eye makeup up ever seen. The outside looks tired and could seriously use some TLC
Pretty immersive and a decent experience. Mainly for kids, nothing much to intrigue older people. Only go if you have kids.
Ticketing experience was a problem . They could not find my reservation and I could not find tickets on phone . They were nice and let us in I expected more activities for older child .
Ok for kids, my wife didn't find it interesting. Kind of boring. The shows weren't very good so we only spent an hour there.
It is perfect for kids but not for 2 young girls in their 20s. We thought there would be more things there as we found it quite small. More activities for kids. Not alot of animals or planets information. Very busy in the day time, I would much prefer the evening. Loved the theatre regarding female astronauts and their work being acknowledged.
Great for kids, and good variety of activities. There were a few exhibits that were not working properly and needed maintenance. But overall good.
I took my wife's nieces to Science World and we had a blast! They are bright kids and there was plenty to keep them happy. They liked how many things we could do together and enjoyed walking the seawall to and from the building. Great activity in Vancouver and well recommended!
Variety of exhibitions. Many of the exhibits were very interesting to my 14 year old son. Can get a little crowded with little kids running around unattended but that's the negligent parents fault not the science center
Great museum for children. There were so many interactive things to do. Please give yourself plenty of time to explore it all.
It is definitely just for family with kids. Bbbj lots of fun for the little ones Lots to learn. But more for the younger ones
This is for young children, think it’s would be awesome if I was a child but as an adult it’s not worth going and nothing for adults.
Science World is not a museum. It is a raucous celebration of science mostly for kids but just as much fun for adults. It's hands-on, interactive and (unfortunately) a tad expensive.
The line to the ticket was long so it is pretty useless to get it here in viator if we will still line up to the ticket side. It isa big playground for kids sadly they close at 5
Geared more for preschool to age 10. The food court had a nice assortment of food and it was hot. The staff were helpful. Super clean If my kids were younger, this would have a fun activity to explore.
It was easy to book on Viator and they scan your passes from app upon entry. The kids had a blast especially at the wheelchair racing. We loved the Science Theater shows as well as the 0-5 play area.
It's a great science museum and the views are amazing. However, we were advised to go with our 13-year-olds and honestly this museum is really targeted at the under-10s. If you have little kids go for sure. If your family is older, consider a difference attraction.
While visiting Vancouver, BC the family visited the Science World. This museum is the best place to take your kids. They offer a lot of hands-on activities for kids and adults to engage in. Wish we had more time.
Puedes decirlo de la siguiente manera en inglés: "The Science World was amazing. I learned so many things in just one afternoon. It was also very interactive, and everyone was willing to explain more in English." 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Was a fun day of learning for our son. Staff was friendly and attentive. The exhibits were clean and in working order. Will definitely go back.
Judging by its name and size (the building looks huge from the outside), the museum gives the impression of being a place where both adults and children can have an interesting time. However, in reality, it’s only suitable for children. Teenagers and adults have nothing to do here! We didn’t know this when purchasing the tickets. As a result, we wasted both our money and time (there were two of us, both adults). I would recommend that the museum consider changing its name and also clearly stating on its website that it is intended for children.
Be careful with what you expect your child will "get out" of this experience. Young ones are not interested in how this or that works, why it works, or the mechanics of the item, just that it works and is it fun or amazing.
It is a place more suited for kids than adults . The IMAX theatre was closed and it did not say so on the internet page
The exhibits and fun places are all so amazing! I highly recommend going; if you're going to BC, this has to be on your list.
The museum looks like it should be brilliant…the reality is most of it is just boring exhibits or very out dated. There is very little ‘science’. Most likely you could fit it all into a smaller building. Also the ticket is pricey $33 for adults…the live shows are so awful, and it’s way over priced for what it is.
Kids are 10, 12 & 14 and this really only suited the youngest one. It worked well to fill in time before a night flight but if you have older tweens they are probably past this.
On two occasions we were unable to arrive on the day of the reservation. We were unable to cancel. We paid for 8 tickets and another 8 the next day only to be unable to enter.
Nice experience of about a couple of hours. The activities are mainly suitable for a range of school age publications. It's still fun to be a bit of a kid again. Beautiful building seen from the sea.
It’s small and it has aged very badly. For children under 10 years old. The only interesting attraction was on Mars
Little science, rather nice for small children. Exhibits nice, but lacking story. The Artemis exhibition is a joke. Overall rather weak...
For children (12 years max) . No interest for adults or even teenagers. During our visit, moreover, the Inmax dome was closed (booked for a wedding) while we paid the full price. Unacceptable! It's the main attraction. Without children, go your way! This is not the palace of discovery...
Me gustó mucho para ir en familia hay demasiadas actividades por hacer !! Además está muy bien explicado todo
