Adrian kept in contact with us and kept us up to date with the weather forecast for the day of the tour. While it was rainy Adrian provided us with additional wet weather gear and umbrellas. The hike is through some beautiful old growth forest and certainly lives up to its description there are a number of stair climbs up from the river and back down over the course of the 10km loop. All in all a great tour through a beautiful location by a very knowledgeable guide. Well worth getting out of the city for.

Adrian was really knowledgeable about the area and worked hard to ensure everyone had a great experience! I highly recommend this tour as you get to see Northern Vancouver through a locals eyes!
Such a great experience & beautiful scenery with many waterfalls & a suspension bridge. A little bit longer than my body could do but there was a flatter trail to get back to the parking lot. Just need to be in great shape.
Our tour guy, Adrian, is super responsive to my detail inquiries of the trail. Before the trip, he provided me the general terrain and the weather for our trip. He is also flexible to meet us close to the Skytrain station. He is tentative, provided us snacks and rest time by the river so that we can enjoyed the serenity of the quiet time in the forest. At the end of the trip, he also gave us tips on other popular spots to visit. Overall, all of us enjoyed the hike and valued the friendliness from Adrian. Divinity will refer this tour to others!
We had an amazing hike and saw the beautiful rainforest and Twin Peak waterfall. He had delicious treats for us along the trail and was knowledgeable about the area. Adrian was great at communicating and picked us up from our cruise ship and dropped us off at our hotel by the airport. I would definitely recommend Adrian for this hike!
We had a wonderful time with Adrian. We were visiting Vancouver for the first time and wanted to do some lovely hiking but weren’t sure where to go or how to get there without a car. This outing was perfect! Totally worth it.
An outstanding excursion with an excellent guide. We were promptly picked up outside our hotel and transported to Lyon Canyon. As we hiked through the rainforest, Adrian, our guide, provided us with a wealth of knowledge from his previous encounters there including in-depth information about the natural habitat, vegetation and wildlife. The tour consisted of different elements of uphill and downhill trails of different terrain - viewing various waterfalls, a suspension bridge and emerald green pools. At the halfway, we stopped at the pool for a quick break and refreshments provided by Adrian before taking a chance to take a dip in the emerald waters. Would highly recommend.
Really enjoyed this intermediate level hike up and down stairs, through hills and valleys, extremely beautiful and serene surrounded by nature.
The hike was amazing. The trail was very well maintained. The scenery was beautiful. We really enjoyed hiking with the tour guide, Adrian. He was very knowledgable and made the hike that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hike and Adrian.
Many stairs! But excellent guide. Some great views, especially seeing salmon jumping falls. The experience was well worth the cost.
Adrian was an amazing guide and picked us up promptly at our hotel! He shared with us the beauty of Lynn Canyon and all that it has to offer! We loved getting to know him and our fellow adventurers!
Adrian is fantastic. He knows the city and its history and was a great host. The area we hiked was beautiful. We would do this again.
We had a great tour with our very friendly guide Adrian, who knew so much about Vancouver and all there is to see and do. This was really a wonderful hike through the forest, climbing up and down stairs. Crossing beautifull watervalls. Swimming in clear blue water. Loved it!
A very nice 5 mile hike through a beautiful and scenic park. Adrian was very knowledgeable of the area and trail. He was prompt with his arrival and provided snacks and water for the trail, including delicious homemade banana muffins!! Lots of stairs to get your heart rate elevated along the trail, and gorgeous swimming holes and waterfalls along the route.
This was a gorgeous hike with a fantastic guide. There were lots of stairs, and it was not too easy, but it was worth the hard work.
Very nice hike, just keep in mind that you'll walk up and down on stairs. Great views and guide very knowledgeable and tell a lot of stories about the place.
Tour guide was awesome, very friendly and knowledgable. The hike was a bit more intense than I thought so make sure you are up for it.
Timely pick up and delivery. Nice, knowledgeable and accommodating guide (Adrian). Description indicates 6-10km moderate skill level. Length of tour 3.5 +/-hours. Elevation change according to our guide was 1100 feet (aggregate). Considerable ups and downs, a fast pace (at least for me!) This is not a leisurely stroll. See the specific site and then a quick walk to the next site. The stairs are not for the faint of heart. Overall, great if you're in stair climbing shape.
This was such a fun experience! Highly recommend. Adrian was great. He gave us all the recommendations for Vancouver. Even had water ready for us. The hike was beautiful! I would definitely do more tours with Adrian. The transportation to and from hotel was super convenient!
Adrian was the perfect guide for this stunning hike! He picked us, and the other hikers, up at the places we were staying. His vehicle was immaculate and comfortably seated the 7 of us. He made a point of introducing people as new people were picked up, and he engaged each of us in conversation. Along the hike, he pointed out plants and gave us interesting information. He also showed us pictures of the places we stopped at other times of the year so we could get a feel for the different seasons. Halfway through, we stopped and he treated us to sliced oranges and homemade cookies. On the way back, he gave us the option of the “easy” way or more challenging way. Half of us went one way, the other went with him for the more difficult route. Afterwards, he even shared pictures with us of our own hike. As an added bonus, he gave us restaurant recommendations!
What an amazing hike - not for the out of shape, definitely strenuous at times but a great workout in stunning natural beauty Adrian, our guide, was interesting and fun and helpful!
The views were gorgeous and the hike was well paced. It was a beautiful cool morning and the forest was beautiful. Our guide was great and really was knowledgeable about the area and was a delight to listen to him.
A wonderful experience which we would highly recommend. Adrian was great fun to be with from the moment of pick up and throughout the hike along the valley.
Adrian, a lifelong resident of Vancouver and outdoor sports enthusiast, did a great job making our first experience in Vancouver a wonderful one. He picked my adult son and me up from the hotel at 8:20 am in his comfortable SUV and he took us on a trip about 30 minutes north to get to our destination, Lynn canyon. He chose for us a perfect 8-9 km hike that had a mix of inclines and declines, gorgeous mature forest of cedars and Douglas Fir, an emerald river at the base of the canyon that had rapids and waterfalls and even a small suspension bridge. The whole trip was about 4 hours. Adrian was a great tour guide and shared information on the history of the canyon, the flora and fauna and the local inhabitants’ customs. Very entertaining! Dogs and babies in backpacks galore! This is a popular place on a beautiful Saturday in June for tourists and locals. People are very friendly. The trail is very well maintained. You won’t be disappointed.
The hike was beautiful. It was challenging at 67 (a lot of hills and steep stairs) but the grandkids (9 & 11) loved running through the forest and over the rocks. The waterfalls were beautiful. Adrian the guide was awesome and brought snacks and water .Highly recommended for nature lovers and reasonably priced.
Adrian was a fantastic guide , the hike was amazing ( a bit challenging on those stairs!) but all in all a great day ! Thanks Adrian !
Outstanding hike experience during our visit to Vancouver. Lynn Canyon is beautiful, with lush greenery and stream overlooks. Trail is well maintained, half is wooden boardwalk. Adrian was a terrific organizer, driver, guide, and information source about the trees and plant life. He made it effortless, picking us up at our hotel and returning us at the end. First rate, highly recommended!!
Beautiful park, but LOTS of stairs, many without rails. The description mentioned some stairs, which I was fine with. But there were probably at least 12 flights. Wished I could have gone all the way to the bottom of the canyon.
Beautiful area to hike ! Host Adrian friendly and professional. Very patient with all hikers. Would recommend to others.
A great hike with Adrian our professional guide. Spectacular forest, raging river rapids and suspension bridge gives you a perfect view of the white water rushing underneath. Other reviewers noted that there is a fair bit of up and down. Adrian was patient with the hikers and we averaged three hours round trip. Worth the trip and close to the city.
Really nice hike through lovely scenery - forest, waterfalls, and well kept paths. Gentle(ish) pace and great home made cookies!
Wonderful hike in the beautiful Lynn Canyon. Amazing trees, waterfalls crystal clear swimming pools. This hike had the lot and only a short drive from Vancouver. Our guide Adrian was excellent- not only providing lots of local knowledge but also providing cookies and water halfway round.
An intense 6 Mile hike up and down varying elevations. Definitely feel like I got to work out. Adrian was wonderful and accommodating to an amateur like myself. I would definitely recommend this experience
Adrian was a lovely guide. Knowledgeable and friendly. The hike itself in Lynn Canyon was beautiful. Nature and waterfalls is what I wanted and it's what I got. Adrian was happy to accommodate walking speeds to suit everyone in the group. The home made oat cookies were a great touch too 😊
Enjoyable trip through the old growth woods in a chasm with a creek at the bottom. But be aware that this is not a leisurely stroll through the woods. A challenging hike with lots of up and down both on stairs and on natural trail with plenty of roots and rocks.
Wonderful experience! The hike was beautiful, and Adrian was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the nature of Vancouver.
This hike was an amazing experience, Adrian was really friendly and kind and he knows every corner of the trail for a good photo. Lynn Canyon Park is a really beautiful place, the views are spectacular and the trail is in perfect condition. There are lots of steps, so be ready to it! I'll definitely book another hike with him the next time i get to go to Vancouver! Thank you for the great pictures and a great time! - Ana
This was one of the best tours I have ever done! Not only were the views impeccable, but Adrian’s knowledge was impressive. I completed this tour alone and had a great time meeting new people.
I would do this everyday if I could. This experience was one of a kind and it should be on everyone's list when you visit Vancouver. It was not an easy hike, but you can take your time if you need to. Adrian is a very experience guide and explains the history of the area, as well as the plant life. I would definitely do this hike again.
Lovely canyon & forest, trails are clearly visible. Adrian was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Highly recommended, I would do this hike next time I’m in Vancouver.
Despite the rain, the walk was very enjoyable. Great communication in the lead up to the date, and around pickup from the hotel. The group was small which I liked and we all got along great. Would recommend
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone. As a solo traveller to Vancouver on a business trip with only one day for play - the half day rainforest trip was perfect. Adrian who owns and runs the business and is your personal tour guide was amazing - he was highly knowledgeable about the area, was personable and friendly (I asked way too many questions) and he went above and beyond (thanks for the recommendation about Cedero - was delicious - I dined there tonight). The hike is beautiful and picturesque - the constant drizzle of rain made it even more enjoyable as the river was roaring and the colours of the forest were so rich. I look forward to doing other adventures with Adrian - and taking my family on my next visit. Thanks so much Adrian!
The experience is completely as described and most enjoyable. Beautiful hike short distance from downtown Vancouver, Adrian is the perfect host, engaging, positive and bakes a great cookie!
Amazing 3 hour hike in the most beautiful scenery just 15 mins drive from downtown! Adrian was a wonderful guide. Would highly recommend
Adrian was a great guide, being a very knowledgeable host on the rainforest and the wider Vancouver. He picked us up from our hotel, brought home-made chocolate chip cookies and fruit for a snack and extra water. The walk is approx 9 km and includes some waterfalls, lots of fauna and flora and beautiful green pools of water. Would highly recommend this walk.
Beautiful magical forest! Guide was very helpful even brought us snacks and water. Be ready to hike up and down lots of steps
From pick up, Adrian was fantastic with great explanations about the history of the old growth forest, including types of trees, berries, and animals that frequent the forest. The suspension bridge over Lynn's falls was spectacular. The homemade treats at halfway gave us all the energy for the return trip. You couldn't meet a nicer guide that loves what he does. Allow 4- 5 hours for the 1/2 day. Mid range fitness is required as there are a lot of steps. Thank you, Adrian. What a wonderful day
The hike was amazing with lots of great views and a beautiful forest. Adrian, the guide, is a very kind and great guy. From pick up to drop off back at the hotel, an amazing trip and hike. Would definitely recommend it to anyone in Vancouver! At 9km length with some incline and decline the hike might be a little bit exhausting, but definitely doable. We would book a different tour if we happen to visit Vancouver again.
This was a great morning hike! While there are stairs I did not find it to be too difficult. For those who do not hike much this may be too much for you. There was one other besides Adrian and I. We hiked in the December rain. Be prepared for the weather that might come. Overall we did about 7 miles with a 1,000 ft. elevation gain.
Highly recommend. Adrian our guide was wonderful. Very informative and a great sport. Took one of the guest arriving in a pearl sweater and suede boots in stride. He even brought snacks (oranges and healthy cookies). Just a great time.
