Itinerary
Experience Vancouver through the eyes of someone who calls it home—where snow-capped mountains frame ocean views and vibrant neighborhoods tell stories shaped by cultures from around the world. This isn’t just a tour—it’s a City Unscripted experience: real people, real connections, designed around you, full of authentic moments and unforgettable discoveries. Before your experience begins, you’ll receive a short online Personalization Form so we can craft an itinerary tailored to your interests—whether it’s sampling dumplings in a tucked-away food court, browsing independent bookstores, or taking in panoramic views from the seawall. Here are some highlights to inspire your experience:
Wander cobblestone streets lined with heritage buildings, independent boutiques, and iconic street lamps. Your host will share how this neighborhood transformed from a historic logging outpost into one of Vancouver’s most stylish and storied districts.
Explore a creative neighborhood known for bold murals, local coffee roasters, and small-batch breweries. Your host will highlight the area’s artistic identity, street art culture, and how it’s become a hub for Vancouver’s indie scene.
Stroll along the waterfront to this bustling indoor market, overflowing with artisan crafts, farm-fresh produce, and homemade treats. Your host will help you navigate the stalls and introduce you to local flavors—no entry ticket required.
Conclude your experience on this dynamic strip, known for its multicultural energy, vintage stores, and Italian cafés. Your host will show how “The Drive” captures the heart of Vancouver’s diverse, inclusive, and community-driven spirit.

You have the option of booking this private tour for anywhere from 2 to 5 hours. We opted for the 3 hour tour, which was plenty for our activity level. Our guide Nasir texted the day before our tour to confirm the start time and meeting place (which was at our hotel near BC Place). We covered a lot of areas of town, including Downtown, Gastown, Chinatown, and Waterfront/Canada Place/Cruise ship terminal to get a feel for where things are. We found these areas very walkable. We even stopped in Gastown for a delicious donut from Lee’s Donuts. Nasir gave historical background and we stopped at several areas for good views and photo ops, including the 9th floor of the library, as well as several stops that had historic photographs of Vancouver landmarks.
Informative private walkingtour with a very frendly guide with good knowledge! I would do it at every time again
Erika tailored the tour to our interests. We learned a lot about the history of Vancouver, significant architecture, and places we would have overlooked. We should have booked a longer tour. We were in Gastown, at the conclusion of our tour, and had many choices for where to have lunch!
This was a great tour. Our own private guide who gave us 3 options when she met us at our hotel and then showed us so many things we wouldn’t have seen on our own. Kim did a great job customising based on our interests and we learned a lot about Vancouver.
Huy was a really nice guy but the explanation of the tour wasn't even close to what he intended to walk us through. Had to take a taxi/uber to Granville Island, it was recommended to not even go to Chinatown. This tour was grossly overpriced to just walk through Gaston/downtown and Stanley Park
Low key. Highlighted architecture. In 4 hours covered 2/3 of city. Easy pace, time to visit stores as well as restaurant. Guide was exceptional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. The tour included everything in a few mile radius that was of interest. Nas , the guide , would have shown more but we were tired from walking so we ended the tour early.
Great overview of Vancouver. Omar customized the tour to accommodate my elderly mother and myself. We really enjoyed the tour and learned a lot about the history and different neighborhoods of Vancouver. Omar is an excellent tour guide.
The best way to do a tour, and tailored individually for just what you want a just for your private group. Our guide Erika was amazing! Great gems you won’t see without her and we even popped in for a coffee along the way.
This was the best way to start my trip. Erika was so kind and accommodating. We got to see the best parts of Vancouver, and she shared so much knowledge about the buildings and the neighborhoods.
Kim as awesome. The sweetest tour guide. She was very personable and knew all about the city. 5 stars
Excellent. Nas was my guide. He was very flexible about changing the schedule to things that interested me specifically. Very eager to help take pictures, alter the schedule to fit in things I needed, or answer questions I had. Very knowledgeable about the city and its history. I would HIGHLY recommend him.
Monica was a terrific guide. Lots of knowledge, very flexible, and a lovely person. Our first time in Vancouver and Monica took us everywhere. I highly recommend a 5 hour tour
Kim our guide showed us all the beautiful sites in Vancouver. She showed us beautiful architectural gems, we got to navigate the city in local transportation and got to see a different perspective of the city. She’s wonderful, has a great personality and you will feel like spending a day with an old friend. I would highly recommend her. Thanks.
The tour is personalized for you! The tour guide came to my hotel, and was early. I expected others on the tour.
Stanley park, coal harbor, Chinatown, and gastown. Omar took us all over Vancouver. He was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Kim took us to "off the tourist radar" sights and was incredibly knowledgeable about the city, architecture and history-exactly what we asked for.
We booked this private walking tour of Vancouver prior to departing on an Alaskan cruise. We were immediately contacted by the company and asked to complete a very in depth survey of what we wanted to do during our tour. The tour guide also reached out to ask about what we wanted to do. This is the big problem - we don't know Vancouver!! We wanted a professional guide to introduce us to the city and show us as much of it as possible during our 3 hours - and that really didn't happen. We had 3 hours and we often felt like we were walking in circles and not really seeing much of the city. We also felt that our guide incorporated too much of her personal "stuff" into our tour which took away from our ability to get to know Vancouver. We all wish that we had gone with a bus or bike tour instead to get to know and see more of the city.
Kim was an enjoyable tour guide who was flexible to our needs and showed us the city on a beautiful day.
We had a fantastic day touring all over Vancouver with our guide Derek. He was very knowledgeable about the city, he took us to some really fun and off the beaten path locations, which is what we asked for...an insider's tour of the city. We enjoyed his company thoroughly and had a great day!
The rooftop of library, gas town clock and Vancouver downtown skyline. My tour guide Derek was excellent!
