Joshua was wonderful. Picked us up at our hotel. Pointed out some very interesting historical facts plus a few funny details. Gave some very good suggestions and with that we added more things to our day trip. Ended upset so much more in just one day!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Paul. He is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. While efficiently driving us through the city, Stanley Park and Grouse Mountain, he shared interesting facts about the area’s history, culture and current issues. He maximized our experience by knowing the best times and viewing areas, reducing time spent in lines. Having been on many such tours, we confidently rate his as excellent. Highly recommended.
A must do excursion. Our guide, Iresh, was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Vancouver. He gave us great insight about how Vancouver has evolved into the beautiful city it is today. Our tour was customized to our comfort level. It ended with some exploration and a nice lunch on Grouse mountain.
Good experience, worth the money. Capalino Bridge was great, but the entrance area and the other things they have built around the bridge area were too touristy for us. Our tour guide "Joe" was very nice and helpful, but it was sometimes to understand his strong Korean accent.
First, I want to say, how well Joshua communicated with us up to and before our tour began which eliminated any confusion or miscommunication! Secondly, Joshua's knowledge and history of this area and surrounding areas was amazing! We spent ample time at Grouse Mountain, rode the gondola up and back down, Saw a lumberjack show, and got to see Coola the grizzly bear at the Grizzly Bear Refuge!!! Followed by an hour at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, crossing over the suspension bridge, going up the Tree Top walk, ending with the Cliff Walk! Not for the faint of heart, it is a bit of a workout! Thank you so much Joshua for your great care, thoughtful planning and consideration!!! You're awesome person!
Irish (pronounced eerish) our driver and guide was absolutely amazing, showed us more things than we were expecting! He was very thorough, respectful, and fun, all at the same time! Once we got up to Grouse Mountain for lunch, he actually gave us about an hour extra time up there, lunch was relaxed and enjoyable. This small tour was my husband, myself and one other couple that we did not know beforehand. By the end of the tour, we were laughing, sharing family stories and exchanging contact info. We also had Irish laughing at several of our jokes. Another thing to know about this tour was, it included tickets to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and the gondola ride up Grouse mountain so we didn’t have to worry about having to stand in long queues to buy our tickets. It also included a select menu with lots of options at Altitudes Bistro on the top of Grouse Mountain. Adult beverages were available for purchase. But everything was all arranged ahead of time, plus we were in a comfortable SUV.
I went on the tour with my 9-year old and we had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the bridge, lookout, and gondola. It was a fun day, we saw so much, and I’d recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Capilano Bridge & Grouse Mountain. Our tour guide Paul was friendly and knowledgeable.
Paul was amazing, he was very professional, kind and friendly. He provided amazing insights about the city set up and the places we visited
Tour was nice. Loved all the sights but our guide Joshua could have been more interactive. We felt like he was just going through the motions of getting through the day. After reading all the five star reviews, we were hoping for a much more energized and informational guide. So that was very disappointing.
Paul was a fantastic guide! We liked the small group feel. The itinerary was perfect for the short time.
Paul was sucha. great tour guide. He explained what the day would look like right when the trip started and kept us informed every step of the way. The suspension bridge was amazing, Grouse mountain was fun, lunch was great and we enjoyed the lumberjack show at the top of Grouse mountian. The city tour and city views at the top of of the lookout was phenominal. highly recommend this tour for anyone that wants to get a good overview of the city. Paul also answered all of our questions and gave us many additional recommendations for other things to see and do and many places to eat! We greatly appreciate that!
Our family of four enjoyed this entire adventure and private tour! Joshua was amazing from start to finish, with his communication, his patience and his knowledge. When it says premium tour, he definitely treated us like gold! We stopped at Stanley Park and enjoyed the water views and totem poles. Then to Grouse Mtn where we got lucky that the grizzly bears were active and being fed carrots by the caretakers. We got up close with the owl Apollo at the owl talk, then took the chairlift up to the very top to enjoy the beautiful views. Lunch was a limited menu which was delicious and perfect for our timeframe. Capilano suspension bridge was a bit crowded due to the summer travel season, but somehow also serene, peaceful and adventurous. Finally, Vancouver lookout was a great way to end the day. If you’re looking for a tour that includes several top highlights of Vancouver, this is an incredible option!
The tour was exceptional. We had not been to Vancouver before and this was a great experience. Joshua was very accommodating, patient and knowledgeable of all the areas/aspects of this tour. He was genuinely concerned about our experience. We would definitely recommend!
Fabulous experience Great guide. Great itinerary. Highly recommend Joshua did everything possible to make our tour a great one.
Our driver Cris was fabulous. It ended up being a private tour with 2 of us. He showed us the sites and was informative.
We had the pleasure of having Chris as our guide, which made the experience even more exceptional. He provided a private, personalized tour, taking us to all the highlights while keeping the experience engaging with his humor and insightful commentary. His knowledge and enthusiasm truly enhanced our visit. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone planning a trip to Vancouver.
Could not have asked for anything better. Wonderful sites on a beautiful day. Terrific guide! Great itinerary and organization.
We had a great day with our driver/guide, Paul ! Our small tour (6max) had others cancel so it was us 2 and him! We saw Stanley Park, spent time at Capilano and Grouse Mt and then the Vancouver Lookout ! Such a great tour !
The tour guide goes above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable and filled with information and visuals of Vancouver.
Joshua was very accommodating and knowledgeable. My mom and I had a wonderful time on our trip. Everything was beautiful.
During this tour we saw so many spectacular views of Vancouver and the natural beauty all around the city. Joshua was an excellent guide and provided us with a wonderful experience.
The experience outstanding the tour guide Paul absolutely brilliant would highly recommend this trip and especially Paul
We had an amazing day! This tour totally exceeded our expectations. Paul was an excellent tour guide and our visit to Stanley Park, Capilano bridge and Grouse Mountain areas were fantastic. We would 100% recommend this tour and hope to do it again next time we visit Vancouver. Thank you Paul!!
Tour guide is very knowledgeable of the city and explained to us where we can go on our own after the tour.
This was the best tour to see and learn about Vancouver. It includes a variety of City sightseeing, historical places and the beautiful forest surrounding the Capilano River. The tour guide Tully was so friendly and knowledgeable and nice to listen. Lunch was included wihch is the best opportunity to meet new people and make friends. I am so happy I chose this excursion.
We only had 4 on the tour so lots of room. We thoroughly enjoyed all we saw and everything we did. We had lunch on the mountain with a white out and it was beautiful. Jonathan our guide was super friendly & accommodating. Glad we took the tour.
Paul was an excellent city tour guide. His expertise and professionalism made the experience exceptional. We had a fantastic time. Thank you!
Although this tour is much more popular during the warm weather months, I’m glad we went when we did! It was more personalized and our guide, Paul, was able to take the time to introduce us to the Vancouver main attractions in just a few hours. The Capilano suspension bridge was breathtaking- if you get a chance to go at night, I bet it is spectacular. Wear good walking shoes, dress in layers and be prepared to get in your steps! The view from Grouse mountain was incredible as we happened to go on a clear day- the view is about 50mi! There is a limited menu, that’s included with the tour. That was good enough for us (we added drinks) but you can choose to order from the full menu at an additional cost. It was great to see how the indigenous culture is respected and honored in many ways, even with the growth of urban/city life. Paul made a great tour exceptional! He really took his time with us, explained history and even helped us capture memories by snapping several pics of us along the way. We have only good things to say. We really enjoyed ourselves!
Awesome tour! Joshua was warm and welcoming! The sites were beautiful! Loved Grouse Mountain Lunch! The cliff walk was beautiful as well!
My guide was very friendly and informative. He took his time and made sure I was comfortable. He gave me lots of information.
A beautiful tour. Although raining for most of it, the scenery was beautiful. Our guide was enthusiastic and friendly and knowledgeable of Vancouver history. Loved seeing the “adopted” bears! He took us to the salmon hatchery instead of the tower. The hatchery was fun - enjoyed watching people fishing for salmon and watching the salmon trying onto go back to the hatchery. He asked us we wanted him to drop us at the tower with the voucher. We did. Well worth the change in plan. Highly recommend.
Great tour to do! It was a rainy day for us and we were the only couple on the tour. Despite the rain it was a fun day! Pick up from our hotel, informative tour guide, Stanley Park, totem poles at Stanley, Capilano Bridge with a Halloween theme, Grouse Mountain lunch, Bear habitat (unfortunately only saw one but was sleeping), Salmon Hatchery and last Vancouver lookout. Such a great deal and a lot of things checked off. Definitely a MUST for first timers in Vancouver. Also, didn’t feel rushed and got to take in all the sites.
We really enjoyed our day and our guide Paul was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations for other things to do Would recommend this to others
What a great experience Tully is the best !!!! A personal drive was just perfect for us He took us everywhere and gave us so much information Just a really great day ❤️
Our tour guide, Paul, was awesome! He was so knowledgeable about Vancouver. Since there was only one other couple, it made a semi private tour. This was wonderful because Paul could really answer questions and give us interesting facts. The vehicle was very nice, clean, and comfortable. We especially loved the suspension bridge. All aspects of the trip were great. We didn’t feel rushed. Lunch was great on top of the mountain.
Tully was the BEST!! He was attentive, informative and accommodating. He even accompanied me at the suspension bridge, even tho I know that isn't normal. He made sure that I saw the bears, (my priority), and walked at my pace. I was his only tourist. I saw the steam clock, went to an observation tower, drove thru Stanley Park, rode the gondola, went to the suspension bridge, cliff walk and lunch on the top of the mountain. It was really fun, I will admit there was a lot of walking. The bridge was way out of my comfort zone but it was fun. Beware it was shaky but save, as they told me.
Excellent tour. Tully was a terrific tour guide, so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this tour.
This trip with Paul was amaaaazzzzing! The bridge is a must do and really not bad for someone with fear of heights. Definitely follow the treetop paths around, as it’s beautiful. Was fun to see the city from the top of Grouse Mtn., and to also see a couple of resident bears there. We could not have had a better, more organized guide. Paul is thoughtful, knowledgeable, pleasant, and an incredible history buff. SO worth the time and money.
Paul did a great job! He moved us from place to place very effectively! He also gave us nice tips of how to navigate Vancouver well.
Wear sturdy shoes for the park, especially the suspension bridge and treetops part of the activity. Someone who is not steady on a heir feet will have a real problem.
Such a fun and memorable tour! Our guide was super friendly and knew so much about Vancouver, from local history to amazing nature walks. Great mix of sights, stories, and natures beauty! The gondola ride up the mountain with a nice meal at the top was my favourite part!! This tour was a highlight of my trip!
So fun and so beautiful, we really enjoyed our time on this trip. Would highly recommend to anybody :)
An Exceptional, Personalized Vancouver Experience What an amazing tour! I booked the Best of Vancouver Small-group Tour with Capilano & Grouse Mountain Lunch, and by a twist of luck, I ended up being the only guest—turning it into an unexpected private tour. This made the experience incredibly personal and special. My guide, Paul, was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, and easygoing—spending the day with him felt like exploring Vancouver with a good friend. He shared fascinating insights about the city, and his flexibility and warmth made the tour feel relaxed and enjoyable throughout. The Capilano Suspension Bridge was breathtaking, and being literally in the clouds at Grouse Mountain was a surreal highlight. Every stop was well-paced, and lunch was a perfect break in a stunning setting. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to get the most out of their Vancouver visit—especially solo travelers or those wanting a more personalized and fun local experience. Thank you, Paul!
I have taken a lot of tours and our guide was the best we’ve had. So much great information and stops. This is a must do in Vancouver
Overall, the tour was as advertised. It is a small group tour that hits the biggest attractions in Vancouver. The upside: The tour was a very small group, smaller than I expected. Just 4 of us with our tour guide in a SUV. The tour guide was knowledgable, pleasant, and enthusiastic. It's a good option to see a lot in a short amount of time. The downside: There is a pretty tight schedule despite the small group. There was no time to explore or wander... If you are hoping to spend time walking around Stanley Park or see any shows/participate in any activities (such as the ropes course or zipline) at Grouse Mountain, this is not the tour for you... or you may need to go on another day by yourselves. We would have preferred to have more time to explore. I feel like we missed out on some activities we would have really enjoyed.
Irish, the tour guide was the best we have ever had, and we use Viator, all over the world!!!, awesome time !
Our tour guide, Paul, was personable and informative. We visited all the sites that were mentioned in the tour description. Though the weather was rainy, our guide made the best of it and we got a good feel for Vancouver. Lunch on Grouse Mountain was good. Seeing the grizzlies in the sanctuary there was exciting. Thanks, Paul!
Paul was a fantastic guide, very friendly and helpful . Capalano bridge was interesting, very wobbly. LOL lookout was a great 360 view of city. Gross mountain was good as was the lunch there. Bears were sleeping but got great view of owl up close
We really enjoyed our small group tour of Vancouver. In about 6 hours, we were able to take in many of the city’s sights in a more relaxed and personalized environment. Paul, our tour guide, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the city and took great care of us. We had two teenagers with us - which is always a challenge on any tours like this - and they really enjoyed all the stops on the tour. One thing to be aware of: there is a lot of walking. Wear comfortable walking shoes/clothing and be aware that individuals with mobility issues may struggle with hills or uneven terrain. Overall this is a great experience which we’d recommend.
The guide (Iresh) was very knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. It was raining in the morning so he kept the Lookout for later when the sky was clear, which was a good decision. The lunch at Grouse mountain was very good with nice view. Overall, I got to see Vancouver’s main attractions in less than a day. Highly recommended.
