It’s a great way to get your bearings and you can get some brilliant photos from the top. Some of the views are blocked by taller buildings, and we would have loved to see more of Stanley Park, but there’s still plenty to see. There’s no rush as you can stay as long as you like, although we spent about 30 minutes there. The downloadable audio guide was a nice addition too, really clear and easy to follow.

Amazing View on top. You can see the vancouver city. Price is affordable. Recommended to family and friends.
Great views, informative audio guide and easy location to access. Reasonable price - can take as long as you like there
Beautiful views, audio set up on my phone was great so you know what you are looking at, and the history of it. Total time of 1/2 hour for me. Nicely done. Would recommend to tourists.
Easy to access spectacular vantage point. The audio is helpful and enlightening. A very good value worth doing.
Overall the experience is good! All the staff provided good services. They are patient, helpful and polite!
Great views and history. Had a nice time looking at panoramic view of Vancouver, even though it was rainy, the views were still awesome.
Its always nice to go to one of these when you have been in the city a while and have an idea of the layout of the area and what you are actually looking at. Located between the Financial District and Gastown and costing $23 per adult its a fine activity to do but by no means essential.
Having experienced other towers this one was very under whelming not worth the bother. Interior needs refurbishment. Staff need to engage as show no interest in visitors.
Nice experience but it was less exiting & advanced when compared to the “”Space Needle tower in Seattle” even though the fees were cheaper. Dr. Mazin_Alsarraf September 2026
The views were spectacular. You're able to get a full 360 look at all of Vancouver. The free audio guide was informative as you move around the tower. The glass elevator ride up and down was an additional experience as well.
Arrive early! we arrived at 6:40p and they were closed. Didn't get to go. Never saw the view had to leave the next day
Good way to start our visit to Vancouver. The free audio guide was very interesting. Great view of the city, and cool ride up on the elevator on the paused of the building.
First place we have been to that tells you how much it cost including taxes which was great. Was about £12.50 each. Not as high as a lot of the buildings in Vancouver, which was a bit strange, but was still fairly high up. Had a good complementary audio guide that lasts about 15 minutes and then there are loads of information points around the deck which were good. Staff were really helpful from start to finish as well. Would definitely recommend.
Take you time to read descriptions and find the places. It is not expensive and worth it why do I have to enter more
The Vancouver Lookout was a fantastic experience and definitely worth visiting! The views from the top are incredible, offering a beautiful panoramic perspective of Vancouver, the mountains, waterfront, and surrounding areas. The admission process was easy and the experience was well organized. It was a great way to see the city from a completely different perspective, and I especially enjoyed taking my time to look around and enjoy the scenery. I highly recommend the Vancouver Lookout to anyone visiting Vancouver. It is a great attraction, especially for first-time visitors.
Good thing to see when don’t have a lot of time in Vancouver. Wasn’t crowded and close to hotels and Steam Clock.
We enjoyed the panoramic view over Vancouver. The dialogue was a bit fast. I guess we could have gone around again
Amazing views and history. A must see and do upon your first visit to Vancouver! Easy to walk to from cruise port.
We had a great visit to the lookout. It's a brilliant way to see the whole city and beyond. Gorgeous views from the top, especially on a clear day like we had. All the staff were lovely and really helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit while in Vanvouver.
Great 360 view of Vancouver and surrounds. The description signs add a lot to understanding the city layout.
I recommend going to this lookout first before you hitting other attractions. You will have a good overview and can check vibe of each neighborhood from above.
We were there on a Sunday afternoon 70° sunny and the food court was closed the restrooms were closed. And I asked what type of food the restaurant has. And was told it rotates. Right we were told that it rotates, very nice views but don't plan on going to the bathroom or eating anything.
A fun way to look at the city of Vancouver. As a first time visitor I found it difficult to follow the audio guide and the written guide to actually spot the landmarks but it was still fun.
Beautiful views and comfortable surroundings.
Great way to see Vancouver. Be sure to listen to the audio tour to get the full experience. Highly recommended.
Well, I expected more but it was beautiful seeing Vancouver from up top. It was a good experience. I would recommend but don’t go up there with a lot to expectation
Booked this the night before we went using my Viator cash (nice bonus) and really enjoyed the 360 views. It wasn’t too busy at 11:00 (no lines) and we were able to walk around twice to see our favorite spots. We went to the restaurant after for lunch and cocktails.
It was a nice view, but it doesn’t worth it by the price. I can get prettier view from the mountains.
We went up the lookout on a cloudy day, but we could just about everything that was mentioned in the free audio tour. There is a lot of history included with the narration. It was beautiful! We took our time and really appreciated having this look out to go to since we weren’t able to get up to the top of Grouse Mountain! After being on the observation deck, we went to the restaurant to enjoy a drink and a bowl of soup while we turned. We enjoyed the view again. The only issue we had was finding a parking spot. There was plenty of parking nearby, but not being familiar with how to navigate the streets and Vancouver, it took us a while to get to the parking garage nearby!
Excellent views, went on a clear day. The glass elevator was cool, the staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend!
Well worth it on a clear day. Spectacular views. You can stay up there as long as you want. Very quiet when i went it was 👌
$17 ticket. Only spent 20-30 minutes. Nice views and a short walk around the top. Parking on street and super close to Gastown and their steam clock
Excellent. I will come back again if I will have a chance. Vancouver is really a nice place to visit.
Great activity for senior travelers on a sunny & clear day in Vancouver. This was my second visit and I had a good time!
This tour was so cool just like every sky scraper tour. You see the whole city as a whole from all angles around.
Despite being on the edge of an area that is not so good this was a real surprise and we really enjoyed our visit. It did not cost a lot and you could stay as long as you liked. It was very well organised.
Amazing view from the lookout, we came around sunset and there are some great sights of the city around that time
We went up on the 1st lift of the day, amazing views of a beautiful city, it was clean & tidy, the staff were very helpful & there was a gift shop… 5*
I’ve been to the One World Observatory, Top of the Rock, CN Tower, Calgary Tower, etc. and this one leaves much to be desired. It’s still worth doing for the views, and that is the important part. There’s no outside at all. There’s no coffee shop or place to eat. There’s a gift shop but it’s on the main floor. No video to watch about the history of Vancouver. No glass floor to stand on. In short, nothing else to do once you’re up top other than look at the views. There’s no telescopes either. There’s signs about the history but nothing to show you where the buildings/landmarks are. You’d be forgiven for mixing up Rogers Arena with BC Place if you didn’t already know the structures. There’s a plaque there for Rogers Arena (hockey) but not for the much larger and cooler looking BC Place (soccer, football, concerts, etc.)
Decent if one wants to have an overview of the city. One can spend up to an hour looking around. Tickets are good until the end of the day, so one can return.
If you’re in the downtown area looking for something to do it’s very easy to pop up and have a 360 view to get the lay of the land from a different perspective!
Taking the elevator to the viewing area. We were greeted by a staff member who said we could download an audio guide but there is no wifi ??? Apart from this the vista is great with small plaques giving some information on each area.
I would recommend the look out if you like to have a quiet experience and comfortable , because there are few people went there we stayed for 1 hr and enjoyed the peace and quiet surroundings and the beautiful view of all bc city and took pictures and read all the information thankyou!!
Spend money on something else. It was easy to find. Windows appeared dirty. Admission cost should be half of what was charged to get even a slight recommendation. Have been in other lookout towers in big cities with view more interesting. Can see the beauty of Vancouver on bridges and beachfront.
Amazing views of Vancouver ! The elevator was surprisingly a panoramic one so it was a scary climb ! But worthy !
Wonderful way to see the complete city. Beautiful views . Great way to understand the architecture and neighborhoods
Simple, easy and affordable way to see ALL of what Vancouver offers. The signage helps you identify highlights and to learn some history.
I wanted to get great views of the city from a higher vantage point, and this attraction satisfied my objective. The cost of admission was reasonable, and I got to see three hundred sixty-degree (360°) views of Vancouver. This city had many beautiful skyscrapers, bridges, gardens, and adjacent mountains. It was wise to buy the ticket in advance so that I did not have to waste any time to stand in a line. This whole attraction was indoors, and it did have bathrooms and a gift shop. I enjoyed the glass elevator ride to the top.
It’s a little tricky to find as it’s incorporated with the bottom of a tower block/shopping mall but it is signed. When we went the reception staff seemed rather bored - it was a slow day - perhaps it’s always a slow day. (probably no need to book in advance). The experience itself was good - I enjoy viewing things from above and it does give you an idea of the city. I strongly recommend you use the free audio tour available from the website as it supplements the images and text below the windows which sometimes mention things that are not visible directly, or clarify that you’re looking at something a mile away and not just in front of you. Having Google maps open helps as well!
