Stephanie was great! Full of info and fun stories. The experience was more like being shown around by a friend than being on a tour. The market can be a little overwhelming but having a guide is the best way to learn your way around.

Wonderful tour with even a better guide! Can't say enough good things about Stephanie. Learned a lot and and had a great time. Can't recommend enough.
Stephanie provided us with an excellent tour of Greenville Island and the food market. She made every effort to customize the experience to our individual interests. It was especially informative to hear from someone who is a native of Vancouver with extensive local knowledge.
The tour was a nice over view of the island. The guide had some interesting historical information. I enjoyed all of the food we tried.
Our guide was not present when the tour was supposed to start. I contacted a person who I presume was the owner. Long story short- no one was staffed to do this tour. We ultimately met up with our guide 45 mins after our scheduled start time. The guide was "ok" but couldn't answer some basic questions. Also having to wait in line for our "samples" kind of negates having a guide. That's supposed to be one of the perks of a tour like this..
Our guide was 20 mins late, the directions on where to meet were, to say the least, confusing. There were three groups and each group had the same issue with the start location. It was a lovely walk through Granville and the Market on a beautiful day, the samplings were tasty
never went on tour as was given in correct address to meet. and we had no phone connection in canada we could not make any contact.
We had such a nice time on this tour with Landon! It was fun and tasty! We learned some of the history of Granville Island and enjoyed delicious regional foods. We loved touring the public market with Landon, we tried foods that we normally wouldn’t have eaten and he told us about the origins of some and how they came to be. The last stop was one of my favorites, a very nice surprise. Our group was the perfect size, Thank you, Landon for a fantastic tour and the wonderful person that you are!
We had a wonderful time with Landon! We enjoyed learning some of the history of Granville. The facts and origins of the foods that he shared with us was very interesting (and tasty.) We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Landon. Thank you!
We have had a great tour with Andrea! We would do at every time again and also recommend it to friends.
Granville is a great place to visit and lots to offer. Not a lot of Vancouver history or local information was provided. The market was very busy on this Sunday morning. Stops included a lot of sweets including donut, custard like pastry, charcuterie meats, chocolate free snack, a taco and a lobster roll. The lobster roll was the highlight. 1 drink was included with the taco (Birria). I expected more info about the city and more creativity of foods like coffee, cheeses and maybe a waffle. More brunch foods and more unique tastings
Our tour guide, Landon was amazing! We had a private tour and it was very worth it, lots of yummy food spots!
Landon was amazing and super funny. So easy going and well versed in each stop. Recommend!
Landon was a great host, we enjoyed our eating experience and spending time with him 🤩
You won’t leave hungry. And our guide, Nanz, was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. An excellent experience.
We absolutely loved our food tour of Granville Island. The food was delicious, with a wonderful variety of tastings. Our guide, Naz, really made the experience special. She was warm, engaging, and so knowledgeable about Granville Island and its history. We genuinely enjoyed spending time with her and felt like we were exploring the island with a friend. A wonderful experience all around!
The Granville Island Elite Food Tour was amazing. Our Daexperience guide was very knowledgeable about the area and was a history major and foodie. It was informative and fun. The food stops were well spaced out and of a good variety. We had 5 stops and enjoyed several of them so much that we returned the next day to taste them again!! Lobster roll at Lobster Man, Lee's doughnuts and La Bise Caneles definitely deserved the repeat visit. Highly recommend this tour.
Myra was a superb guide, informative, fun and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour of Granville Island today, along with the delicious selection of tasty treats. Thank you! Amanda and Adrian 🇬🇧
We had a wonderful food tour of Granville Island. The food was great; my favorite was the French canolli! Our guide, Naz, was exceptional. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and provided us with a great tour. I highly recommend this tour and having Naz as your guide!
This was an amazing food tour. The choices were wonderful and diverse. Our guide, Myra, was outstanding. She was very knowledgeable and fun. I would recommend this tour and our tour guide. My husband and I have done food tours, in other parts of the world, and this was one of the best. Be sure to start the tour hungry and be prepared to be full by the end!
Lots of food to taste and a nice variety. Myra was very friendly and informative. Only suggestion is too much meat at first stop. Add some cheese to the charcuterie board.
Great food tour !! Naz was so much fun!! Knowledgeable about Granville and Vancouver history and a pleasure to be with !! The food choices were perfect and SO much food !! Highly recommend
Andrea is a gem…a true asset to the tour/entertainment industry… She is so knowledgeable so interesting so kind and caring. We were lucky to have her as a guide on our Tuesday Granville Island food tour. Thank you Andrea!
Thank you thank you Andrea, for a fabulous afternoon on Granville island. You are so knowledgeable and so entertaining so lovely!
Andrea, our guide was wonderful. Very interesting and informative. Lee’s donuts were delicious. Sooo good. We went back for more but the line was really long. The food choices for the most part were very good. The stop for a pickle sample should not count as a stop. A pickle slice is not a food stop in my opinion. The guide and the donuts were the highlights of the food tour.
Andrea was a great city tour and food guide. What a great person she is. And the food…unbelievable. Hard to pick a favorite, but I’ll go with the French canope pastry and the lobster roll.
Our guide was fun and knowledgeable. We enjoyed all of the food selections! I would highly recommend!
Myra was fantastic. The knowledge that she gave us about the island and all the things that we saw work great. The food experience was well worththe money. She also was very personable, happy to take pictures and all in all. I hope you can get her.
Delightful tour of the food, history, and experience of Granville Island. Myra was a great guide - engaging, fun, knowledgeable, and an overall delight!
What a great day we learned so much and really enjoyed all the food. Our guide was fun, knowledgeable, and a joy to walk with. If you can’t afford the walking tour, you should go over to Granville Island and just do your own tour. It’s only a few minutes from Vancouver.
Arsham was a good guide and the food was delicious! He sprinkled in a good amount of history and was good about encouraging your members to mingle. However, I did think the tour moved a bit too slow- not sure if it was just how busy the restaurants were that day or if that was the normal pace.
This is a great way to see Granville Island and the market. And a great way to try food you might not order yourself. Our tour guy Ali was great! Very informative and so much fun!
Myra was wonderful. We learned a lot about the history and culture of Granville Island. The food was fabulous and such a great variety. We had a blast!
Great experience. Only issue was trying to find out where to meet but didn't receive the text that was sent so our fault. Only recommendation would be to not start with sweet food. Start with the main foods and finish with sweet. Wonderful tour guide. Also didn't know where to park. Give yourself a lot of time to find parking.
Had an amazing tour today with Andrea, she was very friendly and easy to talk with, the food spots had a good variety as well! Would definitely recommend this tour.
We had a great experience on this walking food tour at Granville Island! From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well organized, engaging, and delicious. Our guide, Andrea, was incredibly knowledgeable Her passion, sense of humor, and energy made the entire experience feel personal and memorable. Hopefully, the next group will get her as their guide. Each stop offered something unique and thoughtfully selected, showcasing the diversity of Granville Island’s culinary scene. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The pacing of the walk was perfect, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the food and while exploring the Granville Market. It felt like the ideal combination of sightseeing and dining. By the end of the tour, we felt satisfied and full. I would highly recommend this tour to both visitors and locals looking for a fun, immersive, and delicious way to experience the Island. It was easily one of the highlights of my trip!
This was a great food tour, made even better by our guide, Myra! Myra was personable and fun, sharing tidbits about the market and island, as well as Vancouver in general. The public market itself was very fun and unique. We had great food samples along the way. Highly recommend this tour. Make sure you get Myra as your guide!
I did my first food tour this month with DAexperience on Granville Island and honestly had such a great time. Our guide Landon was super welcoming and made the whole group feel comfortable right away. We had visitors from out of town joining us, which made it even more fun. We started with a sampler of local sausages, then hit up the iconic Lee's Donuts (worth every bite). After that we explored some of the market vendors, stopped at a Mexican spot for tacos and a mango tequila cocktail, tried the lobster rolls, and finished with éclairs for dessert. Landon kept things interesting the whole way through, sharing stories about Granville Island and Vancouver and recommending spots to check out later. It never felt like a scripted tour, more like exploring the city with a knowledgeable friend. Honestly this is just as great for locals as it is for tourists. I live in Vancouver and still learned new things and discovered places I want to go back to. Would 100% recommend DAexperience if you want a fun way to explore the city's food scene.
We enjoyed the foods that we sampled. Better yet was the time that we spent with Landon, our guide. It was nice to have a new friend show us the ropes around Granville Island market.
Granville island is a great place for a good tour. Not too much walking, covered in case of weather. Landon was a great guide. Lots of great information, food and conversation. Definitely recommend
We had a great time with Arsham today on this tour. He was very knowledgeable and personable. The tacos were amazing (and the mescal margarita was pretty great too!), and the lobster roll was so good! The only suggestion I would make, is we did have some of the sweeter tastings before lunch, and it would’ve made more sense to have it the other way around. Other than that, it was perfect! We were just a small group of six people which worked out great. It was a wonderful day to experience Granville Island.
Along with all the good food we tasted, we saw many sites and stores on Granville Island. Good afternoon tour.
Our group of five joined the Granville Island Food Tour and had such a wonderful experience. Granville Island itself is a vibrant, eclectic spot full of character, and the tour really brought it to life. We started by learning about the island’s history at the iconic Concrete Towers, then wandered through the bustling market, sampling delicious locally sourced foods that highlight Vancouver’s commitment to sustainability. Every stop had its own unique flair—from fresh lobster rolls at a seafood spot to creative Mexican tacos and flavorful handmade pickles. We even enjoyed a refreshing craft beer at a local brew pub. For a sweet finish, we indulged in some truly amazing donuts and locally made ice cream. One of the highlights was watching a falcon fly from handler to handler, an unexpected and memorable experience! Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly accommodating, making sure everyone in our group (including those with dietary restrictions) felt included and well taken care of. We had no trouble walking around the island, even as an older group, and left with full stomachs and lots of great memories. We’d highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore a unique and delicious side of Vancouver!
Food was great. Market is amazing. Your guide through da experience was perfect. We were full by the time we were done.
The guide was fabulous and everywhere we went they made sure about food allergies. Karen was a great hostess and very knowledgeable.
Unique and personal experience. Nicole was knowledgeable, friendly, and able to share the best of eateries on Granville Island. We left knowing more about the island, happy and full.
Amazing tour! Highly recommend! Does a fantastic job of bringing you through Granville Island. Our tour guide Karla was incredible!
Karen was extremely knowledgeable and a great guide. She was determined to give us the best experience possible—and she accomplished that goal! I was so very impressed by her people skills—her adroit movements. She was always asking us to tell if there was something we saw that we would like to explore—and deftly managed to fit everything in. We could not have asked for a better guide The food stops were absolutely amazing! A wide variety— and much more food than expected (we saved money on dinner!)
What a great way to see Granville island, the food was amazing, and our tour great did a great job to tell us about Vancouver and Granville island.
Great experience. Good tour guide. Great stops. Good food. Well worth the money. Would highly recommend. Would even consider doing it a second time.
