Vancouver Behind-the-scenes Brewery Tour

Felt very let down. The tour got cancelled as there was only us two booked on, which would have been fine if they had let us know that it wasn’t going ahead. We weren’t notified so we headed to the meeting point but no one was there. Very frustrating and disappointing. Customer service let us down.

We had an excellent tour with about 10 participants on my husband's birthday. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable and drove us through Vancouver in a very comfortable, spacious van to three quite different breweries we never would have found on our own. Except for us and two others from Ireland, the rest on our tour were fun, friendly Canadians. It was an excellent way to spend the afternoon and learn about beers we've never tried before.

We had a great experience with our guide Tim. The breweries and the beers were well chosen and gave a great view into Vancouvers craft brewery scene.

Be open to trying varitels you might not be familiar with. Ask lots of questions. They are there to help you.

Although the trip to the location was a little long, the hosts were very effecient in explaining the facts and details behind the alcohol. The tasting was great and eye opening.

Start to finish, the Vancouver Brewery tour with Canadian Craft is top notch. Booking our tour was extremely easy and seamless. Our guide Tim was exceptional, he provided a customized group experience, he is a wealth of knowledge and we all had a really fun outing. I would definitely recommend Canadian Craft for a group of friends, coworkers or family outing. Such a good time and will be booking again in the future.

We did this tour as a family and really enjoyed the breweries we went to. Our guide, Tim Vandergrift is extremely knowledgeable on beers, wines and ciders. We were supposed to go on a group tour, but due to cancellations, we ended up on a private tour with our wonderful guide, Darren. Thanks for a cool and enjoyable afternoon, man. Would recommend this tour to anyone that likes beer and wants to check out some of Vancouver's finest craft breweries, with a bit of insider flair. Shout out East Van Brewing, Strange Fellows Brewing, and Off the Rail Brewing. Of course, shout out to again to our guide, Darren, for setting the scene for a great afternoon.

Went on the 3 Brewery Tour for a buddies stag and had a fantastic time! We had Kevin Williams for our tour guide and he was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the brewing process but kept the afternoon light . Very funny guy which was a hit with the group he took around. If your looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon and like beer take one of the tours!

Guide was FUN! We visited 3 super breweries. East Van was the best atmosphere, but Cow Dog was the BEST tasting and had something for everyone. Plus, Cow Dog was the most accommodating with their tour, additional tastings, and stories! Super evening in Vancouver before we left on an Alaskan cruise the next morning. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed!

Kevin lead a great tour went to 3 east van breweries that without this tour we would have never got to nice assortment of samples at each place glad we took this tour

Our guide, Michael, was awesome and very knowledgable. The breweries were fun and the beer was great! Most of all, though, the company of the other folks on the tour was what made it so much fun. We all had a great time together. I would recommend this tour :)

We had a surprise event for our group of almost 20. The surprise factor is typically a bit challenging as there may be surprise accomodation needed such as non-alcoholic and non-beer drinkers that we wouldn't know ahead of time. Darren, our host and guide was really great making sure everyone was well taken of. And Darren did everything with enthusiasm and probably his signature, his lovely smile! For a big group event, communication plays an important role to make sure everthing goes smooth. Darren made us feel at ease all along! Fun event and everyone had a great time! Thank you Darren for your great work to make this happen!

Small groups of beer lovers made this very special. Two locals on the tour gave us a wonderful evening of conversation and insider info. I highly recommend Kevin as a guide—he was knowledgeable and easy-going, which helped us make a core memory out of this trip!

The Vancouver brewery tour was excellent! Our guide, Tim (the kilt man), was extremely knowledgeable about all things beer and all things Vancouver. His past experiences blends perfectly to provide insight into the many aspects of beer brewing. Tim went out of his way to cater to each group member’s beer tastes and preferences. We had a great time! This was the only tour that my partner and I went on in Vancouver and we were more than pleased. It was a great way to experience the beer side of the City and get some great history and fundamentals of small batch brewing. Our guide was incredibly knowledable. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for an introduction to Vancouver independent beers.

Our tour guide, James was early for pickup. Loved the timeliness. He was gracious, friendly and full of knowledge about our beer selections and the brewing process. Our tour mates were great! Never met any of them before but by the end of the evening we had made some new friends. Fun and interesting!

The whole trip was fabulous, Kevin, our tour guide did a great job selecting three different breweries with different specialities, both in the style of food and the beer they brewed. There were four of us, Liam and Chris were locals and told us loads of stuff about the city, after the tour we ended up eating divine salted caramel sponge cake and staggering home after a wonderful night out!Highly recommended.

Just did a tour of three Vancouver breweries. The driver was fun friendly and knowledgeable. The beers we got were great. It was a group of 13 of us and we all had an amazing time

Our guide Darren was awesome. We had a small group of people but they were a great bunch and we had an excellent time. Very different breweries and beers so there was something for everyone. Ordered food at our second stop which was also great. Would highly recommend this tour and thank you Darren for an excellent evening.

With over 25 micro brewery in the area, I only go back to one of the 3 we visited. No brewery mugs as advertised and only one behind the scene tour offered.

Darren was the best! Very easy going and accomodating! Dropped us off after tour completed close to our hotel..instead of drop point. Would did this your again.

We did this tour in October 2019 (pre-Covid), but forgot to post. It was an amazing experience. Our guide was very informative and friendly. Each of the breweries were unique and enjoyable. I love being able to try beers I can't get anywhere else. One of the brewer masters snuck me a taste of a unreleased beer that were working on (shhhh). I would definitely do this tour again.

Our guide, Ryan, is a very knowledgeable and friendly fellow. We visited 3 of their highest rated breweries, leaned about the breweries pieces step by step, and even for to try a variety of brews. 10/10 would do again

Myself and my fiance have lived in Vancouver for over 2 years and are experienced brewery goers (so much so that my partner even reviews beers on his instagram account @theplaidshirtguy). My future mother-in-law got us the Beer Lovers Gift Pack for our birthdays back in April but due to restrictions, one cancelled tour and a busier summer we couldn't make the tour until this weekend just gone. It was DEFINITELY worth the wait! I should also note that we were required to wear masks when on the bus and it was optional at other times. Definitely felt covid-safe during the tour! As previously mentioned, we have been to most breweries in the lower mainland and even the 3 Breweries we visited on the tour (Brassneck, Andina, Strangefellows) but we had never experienced them in this way before. Ryan, our guide made the day as he was so in depth with the knowledge he provided and worked with everyone on tour to ensure they had something to try that they liked as well as pushing us to go out of our beer comfort zone. With the pack we bought we got to have a growler fill each as well as a glass! Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to experience something different and we're definitely going to gift this to our friends for Christmas!

Super awesome tour today with Ryan. The VIP access was nice and made it easy to get in and out of the breweries easily, but still felt like we really spent time at 3 different places. Ryan did and excellent job selecting the brews and expanding our palates!! Visiting the breweries on our own would not have been as much fun or as impactful. We had lots of beer and all of it was very good. Thank you for the great afternoon!

Did this with several friends from college all in our mid 20s and had a blast! Jeremy was an awesome tour guide and gave us a lot of good information. Would highly recommend especially for the price!

Our first time to Vancouver, and first beer tour ever. This was outstanding! Cam (our tour guide) really did make the whole experience very enjoyable and helped us to try new beers and experience different types of flavors as well as to appreciate the process of beer creation. If you are very visiting Vancouver BC, and have a love for beer (or would like to try different kinds and get to know different flavors) then this tour is a must!

Visited 3 breweries with Cam as our guide. Was interesting to see the time and effort that goes into creating a great tasting beer. Cam was very knowledgeable and tons of fun! This is my second tour with this company and would not hesitate recommending to friends and family.

We have just had such a great experience with Cam. He had such an excellent knowledge about beer. It was like attending a beer university but he was so entertaining and enthusiastic that it was a painless way to learn. Highly recommended

We are locals and had been to quite a few breweries in East Vancouver already but still decided to go on the tour to try it out. What a great choice. Our tour guide Jeremy was very knowledgeable and engaging. Having the chance to go backstage in two of the breweries was quite interesting. When traffic to go to the north shore was at a stand still Jeremy offered up other brewery options in East Van to make sure we get the most of our time. Treat yourself to this tour. No matter if you are from out of town or a local.

Amazing experience! Came up from San Diego California to meet the love of my life but instead I fell in love with the craft beer. I will definitely be back for the beer. Thanks to Cam for providing an awesome tour. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the beer, food, and local. Definitely recommend for any beer enthusiast or anyone looking to meet good people. We had a private group of 11 for a corporate incentive. It was very well organised from start to finish. Picked up from our chosen location and had a tour of 3 breweries all with tasting board of 4 beers per brewery. Jeremie was very knowledgeable and patient with us. Would definitely recommend for a group of friends, well worth the money.

I had a great time with this tour. I find it a bit expensive though but with the service I get from the tour guid, I would say it was worth it. I will recommend this to my friends.

Im a tradie and definitely go to my fair share of breweries. My gf got me this tour as a gift and it was well worth it!! going backstage and learning how it all happens was great. Definitely will be going on this again! CAM WAS GREAT
