We had a wonderful time. The equipment, guide, weather and every detail was top notch. One of the highlights of our trip.

I wasted my day. Never got to go on my bike ride due to the fact that my ride was cancelled and I was not advised in advance. Was not reimbursed fully by viator. Spent over 40$ on Ubers travelling to and from and experience I never got to have.
We hand a fantastic experience and our guide, Taiga, was most excellent! He was fun, engaging, and informative. I came away with a much deeper appreciation for this wonderful city and it's commitment to livability and ease of getting around. Our group was mixed experience riders but we all had fun and nobody was left in the dust. This is a very accessible experience. Do this on your first day in town!
Highly recommend. The path was fairly flat and easy. There was a steeper hill that we needed to walk our bikes up towards the end of the ride. If concerned about trip, there are ebikes available upon request. Most of the trail is dedicated to only bicycles which was nice - even as we started in the city. Guide was great and shared a lot of great information we wouldn't have known otherwise.
I don't know if all Cycle City guides are as knowledgeable or as thoughtful (she magically produced granola bars half way into our journey when she sensed the group needed replenishments) as Mariel, but let's assume Cycle City has a high bar. In which case, you'll get not only a pleasant, safe biking tour of Vancouver's Stanley Park -- one of the largest urban parks in the world -- but you'll come away from the experience with real insights about Vancouver history and culture. For starters, Mariel's in-depth and nuanced explanation of how there came to be totem poles in Stanley Park was worth the price alone. Other key highlights were not just biking around Stanley Park along its amazing seawall, but going inside it and exploring its forest with towering century-old Cedars and Douglas Firs -- and even a lake populated by two beavers. On top of this, we had periodic stops for Mariel to share highlights of the park and city and I came away knowing so much more about Vancouver history and culture than I expected from a bike tour. This bike tour made me want to come back to Vancouver as soon as possible and go cycling again.
We had a GREAT TIME on this tour! Rikesh is an amazing guide — he was informative, knowledgeable, and shared all kinds of interesting “fun facts” about the areas we were riding through with our group. It's always fun to be around someone who enjoys what they’re doing, and Rikesh is absolutely that guy. Thank You for giving us such a brilliant experience!!
Rikesh was a wonderful guide. He really highlighted different areas of Vancouver. We loved seeing Stanley park and the beaver pond and old Doug. And a bald eagle to cap it all off! Thanks for a awesome tour!
My husband and I had a great experience from start to finish! Cycle City Tours employees were extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Great ambassadors for Vancouver and it's history! The bikes and helmets were fitted for each rider, we were given saddle bags for belongings or the option to leave at the shop. They do a "use your bike safely" demo and explain how bike lanes work for those of us who weren't very familiar. Jake, our guide was phenomenal!! Such a nice person, extremely well spoken, provided a very good understanding of city history, each stop's significance. It's very obvious he enjoys the way of life here and his job. The 3 hour tour itself is excellent, well paced, really nice points of interest along the way, we only had a group of five and a beautiful sunny day, would do a longer tour next time!! Thanks, Cycle City and Jake!
Very enjoyable tour with fun and interesting guide Heidi. Learned some history and biology. Very very easy ride even without an e-bike. A little more riding would be good. Breaks fairly long.
Best time ever! We have done several bike tours in several countries and this one was awesome. Our guide was so kind and knowledgeable. He look out for all the rides and made the experience so fun
Mariel was great! Crispy cool Sept ride with plenty to learn. Loved the totem poles especially
Great tour. Good way to see Stanley Park and Vancouver. Very knowledgeable guide. Would highly recommend.
Very professional bike rental!!! Beautiful scenery on bike ride. We were happy that we used electric bikes as there were a few uphills. Younger people used regular bikes.
We had an excellent experience with the cycle city group. Check in was simple; equipment functional and easy to operate. Our guide, Mariel, was super! Fun, knowledgeable, and super friendly. We are an active 64 year old couple, there was another solo traveler in our tour. It was enjoyable to have a smaller group.
Excellent trip! A wonderful way to see the city and our guide, Jake, was fabulous! He was thoughtful, erudite, and professional. Highly, highly recommend!
What an up close and personal way to see some of the best sites in Stanley park! The tour has good pacing, several key stops, beautiful scenery and Chris our guide gave us a lot of interesting commentary. This was a pretty easy level of biking, mostly flat, on mostly dedicated bike paths throughout with some walking. *There is one section that requires walking up a steeper incline. We went in the early afternoon and though a little busy, we did not feel overcrowded at all on the bike paths. The tour was about three hours, but it went by so fast! Best for bikers of all skill levels and a great way to see Stanley park in a short amount of time.
Jeremy was an excellent guide. Very informative and you can tell he loves his job. Safety was his primary concern. He made sure everyone was comfortable and feeling good about their bike. Would highly recommend.
Very professional and accommodating team! Everyone was so nice! Our tour guide was fun, educational, and committed to our safety. The ride was a nice mix of riding on bike lanes, along the water, and woodland trails. I'd highly recommend this business.
Jeremy is an excellent and honest guide. We saw Vancouver in an efficient manner and learned a lot along the way.
The tour was excellent. Well organised. The guide (nick) was exceptional - great communicator and very helpful.
We had Frank as our tour guide - he was amazing and took care of the group of us. The ride was about 18 KMs at a nice even pace, not too strenuous, and we saw amazing sights. It is an ideal way to see the region and Stanley Park in particular
Taiga was an excellent guide and historian
We took the Stanley Park tour with Nick. Check-in was super easy, and we upgraded to eBikes (strongly recommend if you're slightly out of shape like myself). The equipment was well maintained and worked perfectly. The tour was informative and fun, and we stopped at several landmarks for pictures and stories. There was no clock watching on our tour either. It was well paced and never felt rushed. Nick also made sure that the slowest riders weren't left behind while still keeping a nice pace.
Very enjoyable scenic bike ride. First time on an E bike great fun. Our guide Frank was knowledgeable and made all information at the stops entertaining.
It was 3hrs well spent, very easy enjoyable cycling through parts of the city and Stanley Park, places we would not have found our own. Taiga was an excellent guide, very gentle and friendly and saw that we had bikes and accessories to suit. His passion for the history and wildlife of the area was evident and he helped give us an unmissable view of Vancouver. Thank you!
Excellent experience. Fairly flat terrain so not too physically challenging. Most of the cycling is in dedicated cycle lanes so very safe. Great cycle around Stanley Park and our guide Rikesh was a lovely guy with great knowledge. Would definitely recommend.
Great bike tour of Stanley Park!! Rikesh was an excellent guide and very mindful of his group. He stopped just right amount of times and very informative at each stop on different points of interest. Beautiful ride !!
What a great tour! The bike was really good, the ride was scenic, and our guide Jake was fantastic. In spite of living in Vancouver, we went to parts of the park I haven't seen before. Jake was a great storyteller and guide. A great way to spend 3 hours for visitors and for locals.
Rikesh was our guide and he made the tour the best Very knowledgeable and also caring for everyone on the tour but also for the ecology We would recommend to anyone
Liam was an excellent guide with great knowledge of the area. Friendly and courteous of the riders and others. Shop was convenient to our hotel, just around the corner from the Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver. Stanley park was an easy ride for both us 60 year olds! Thank you! Kristin and Caboose Bobby :)
We had such a fantastic experience on our e-bike tour with Winston! He was incredibly friendly, personable, and knowledgeable, making the entire three-hour tour both informative and so much fun. Winston had a great sense of humor and added plenty of laughs throughout the tour. The snacks were an unexpected and much-appreciated bonus! What really stood out was how attentive he was to everyone in the group. He constantly made sure everyone was comfortable, engaged, entertained, and, most importantly, safe. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. We saw so much and learned so much, and Winston made the entire adventure memorable. I would highly recommend this tour — and especially Winston as a guide! 🚲🌲⭐
We’ve done a lot of bike tours in various cities, but this was by far the best. What an amazing experience. Nick was our tour guide and was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable and friendly and just a fun tour guide to be around. The scenery was just remarkable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Vancouver.
It was wonderful. The only thing that would have been better is if my husband and I got electric bikes because everyone on our tour had them but us. It was hard to keep up.
The start point was easy to find, the bikes were in excellent condition, and the guide (Rikesh) was brilliant
We had Rikesh as our guide and he was most informative and took care that all cyclists felt comfortable. His chat was interesting and his knowledge of what we saw was impressive. Highly recommend him as a caring knowledgeable guide.
It was a fabulous way to get a good grounding in Vancouver and see where all the best places to go and see are. A great pace and suitable for experienced fit bikers and irregular cyclists alike. Our guide German was very knowledgeable, personable and super friendly not to mention a great photographer. Thank you for an excellent tour.
Wonderful bike tour with a knowledgeable guide. Great way to see many of the sights.
Very enthusiastic guide who could tell us a lot of info about Vancouver and his history. I could recommend this tour.
TAIGA was the very best guide, thanks a lot
We had our tour with Taiga and are full of praises for him. His friendly, helpful and supportive way, his empathy with his clients and the openness for questions and proposals are bar-raising. He taught us lots of insightful facts about Vancouver and the beautiful Stanley park. If we had more time in Vancouver we would definitely book another tour with City Cycle, preferably with Taiga ( even though we assume that the whole team does a great job). Also the bikes are well maintained and functioned perfectly fine.
First time visitors to Vancouver and this was exactly what we were looking for to get familiar with the city. The group met up at the designated location, and we were all setup with what we needed. Our guide Chris was personable and very knowledgeable, making several stops along the way and informing us of the meaning or history of things along the way. Highly recommend !
Chris was an excellent guide with a great knowledge of Vancouver - he was engaging and interesting First Class
I had a wonderful time on the tour. I have never been to Stanley Park, so I thought of doing this. I had originally planned to do the Grouse Grind. However just a few days before, I came down with a very bad allergy so that advanced hike was out of the question. There was rain in the forecast today and it did rain a bit, but the company gave us ponchos from the start. It was a fantastic experience and I’m glad I found this very manageable even when I was feeling a bit under the weather (pun intended).
Chris was fabulous! The best part—I left my glasses in the front pack and he brought them to me so I didn’t have to walk uphill back to the shop. Seriously, he was fun, informative, and made sure everyone stayed with the group.
Jake was great! Perfect pace, very knowledgeable about cultural history, clear speaking voice, made us laugh, taught us a lot and we felt safe riding everywhere. Every stop was well timed and informative.
We had an excellent bike tour of Stanley Park with Jake. Jake is an excellent tour guide. He is very knowledgeable, informative, and passionate about the area. He made sure we stuck together and rode safely. He is really fun to talk to and joke around with. The bicycles we rode worked perfectly. Stanley Park is a beautiful place to ride and Jake is the guide to go with.
Rikesh was a fantastic tour guide! Knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this tour of Stanley Park.
Great Stantley Bike ride tour. A mix of urban, nature and cultural journey. It was great cycling on all those safe bike paths. A different way of discovering the Wonders of Vancouver. Taiga is great guide, a very nice person who likes to share his knowledge of the city and Stanley Park. He is very cautious and make sure everybody is riding well. The warm up before going was cool! And the group was fun. Thanks a lot!
Fantastic experience. Got to see some real Vancouver, learn about the history and some fresh air and exercise and into nature too. Have to also say that Jake was the most consistent, considerate of the whole groups needs and generally awesome guide. His enthusiasm and knowledge, particularly about the First Nations people of Canada was inspiring and truly remarkable. What a great guy! Warm, friendly but truly professional and well run outfit.
Jake was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Great tour.
