What a delightful way to spend a day! Michael is a gem, and we learned so much about Vancouver on our way there and back.

This boutique wineries product is so good they served it to the queen of England
Festina Lente is a small family company that produces honey wine for wine drinkers, Meade predates regular grape wine by 6000 years. Amazing products done with traditional natural methods, incredible flavors without being sweet.
(if time allows) Open only on the weekends! Old school wine production, no filtration no additives the results are surprisingly great . There walnut infused port style wine is amazing, there jams and preserves the best.
A very good dutch winery set in the most senic part of the Valley, the wine is mostly white wine everything is grown on the estate, very unique.

Wine was fabulous. Itinerary was not as advertised….. guide said Viator keeps changing back after he corrects it. The charcuterie was in a plastic bag that he assembled. No meat. He had to stop with us at a market to get fruit before we left. Cheese, crackers, nuts, cracker sticks, fruit and a bubble water. There were just the 2 of us on the tour with the guide. He picked good wineries and was on time. Enjoyed the winery experiences. All in all a pretty good day. Just a bit unorthodox compared to all our other Viator experiences.
After another tour operator cancelled our wine tour last minute, I booked this one. What a blessing!! Michael called me to let me know he would pick us up in his Mercedes Sprinter (he picks up at any downtown Vancouver hotel btw) and we were his only guests so we would have the VIP experience. And that it was! We visited three very unique wineries with incredible wines. We purchased bottles at each location and I even signed up for a delivery service from one. Michael was super kind and so knowledgeable about the area we travelled. He truly made the experience so memorable for my daughter and I. He even stopped in Langley on the way back and let us wander around the cute little town for half an hour. If you are weighing your options, this is the tour to select. You will not be disappointed.
Michael our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable of the whole area. He also had a nice little lunch prepared for us. I would recommend this wine tour.
The experience was excellent, enjoyable and very informative. We were picked up dead on time,at our hotel. This pick up was gratifying, not having to worry about finding your way about in a strange city. The drive out to the wineries was an interesting and informative experience .as we learned about the sites we passed and the history of Vancouver. The three wineries were all beautiful and individual and you could read about the wines from a menu and choose your selections. You were then told about the history and flavour points of the wines you had chosen. Many of them award winning! You do not get a full glass mind you, as it is a tasting., not a pub crawl. It is enough though. You can choose sparkling options too. You pay for your selections at the end. These came to approx 20 Canadian dollars, depending of course on your choices. The prices are clear. The last visit to the mead winery was my personal favourite, where the wines were mead wines. We had a delicious selection of cheeses, biscuits , crackers, nuts and cake. Supplied by our courier.Oneof the meads was paired with a beautiful chocolate cheese and another with chocolate. I wanted to buy a bottle of the pumpkin mead wine and the fig. However, we were travelling on to Japan and my case was heavy enough. Also, the cruise lines charge 30 dollars corkage on wine brought aboard!! The vehicle was comfy and afforded a good view. The courier was very knowledgeable and interesting. A very pleasant person with a great sense of humour and a fascinating eclectic background . A man not afraid of hard work, or grasping what life holds.. A real artisan . A nice man.Safety was a priority, with a strong wooden step to alight the bus. One he had made himself The day was one I will always remember with affection.. Well done Morwen
Michael was a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, and the bus was very comfortable to ride in. Would have given the tour 5 stars, but we only visited 3 out of the 5 wineries on the itinerary due to midweek closures.
Wonderful way to visit local wineries and hear about local history. Good variety of tastings and knowledge of wine making.
The tour was good. The driver Mike picked us up and took us to three wineries. He pointed out points of interests and told us many historical stories about the area. A bonus was the light lunch which was provided.
Great experience! All of the recommendations were in the description. Michael was phenomenal! I would do it again!
Michael kept us entertained on the tour with facts about the area, anecdotes and jokes. The selected wineries were friendly and welcoming with a good selection of local, near local wines and mead. Also appreciated the collection and drop off to the front door of our accommodation.
Unique wine tasting tour in the Fraser Valley. Easy pick up from downtown Vancouver to several interesting winery options. We loved every single place, and the driver was really knowledgeable about the region and wine places. Highly recommend it!
This intimate tour takes you to two lovely wineries and an amazing meadery! If you haven’t tried mead, honey wine, now is the time. Michael Laurence took great care of us and the charcuterie he prepared was plentiful. I highly recommend!
WOW - such a great tour - our host Michael Lawrence of Lawrence Tours was fantastically amazing. To start out with a ride thru downtown Vancouver that took about an hour and a half due to traffic redirection because of the marathon. Mike provided us with allot of information about Vancouver while keeping an eye on the traffic and contacting the various sights were were to visit information them we would be a little later due to the traffic. We took a great drive out into the country to visit three wineries - Backyard Winery, 7 Township Winery and Festina Lente Estate Winery (Mead Wine). Mike provided us with a great little charcuterie in a bag - crackers, various cheeses, fruit and chocolates. Although they were supposed to be for the third stop to pair with the mead, we ended up having them in the picnic area of the Backyard Winery due to our lateness of getting out of the city - forgot to mention the day of the marathon there were also four cruise ships in port increasing the amount of traffic considerably. Mike was fantastic and took everything in stride and not getting rattled. I also need to mention that we were the only two for his tour that day, so we really got some great one on one time with him as well as a gorgeous and comfortable ride. Very knowledgeable about the towns we went thru, the vineyards and just history in general. We would do it again and select Lawrence Tours to host.
Great experience. Loved it!! So knowledgeable and a great time! Will definitely come back next time we're in the area! Michael is such a great tour guide. So much fun!
Michael Lawrence was great. We were lucky enough to be the only couple on the tour. Saw four great wineries. Michael is very knowledgeable and friendly as were all the people we met at all the wineries. The wines were great too. Highly recommend this tour with this operator, Lawrence Tours.
Fantastic day with a very knowledge guide, The tour was amazing, we have a good time at the wineries that we visit , I highly recommend it.
Great tour of several wineries. Michael was the perfect tour guide and added his special touch with his extensive knowledge of the grapes and surrounding areas
We were shocked as we’ve done many wine tours. We paid as a couple $245 & had to pay for EVERY wi e tasting. Basically we paid for a car. He-Michael tried the whole time to sell us his fishing -paintings-wood working. The other couples were so upset.
This tour is definitely worth it, Michael (our guide) was delightful, friendly and very knowledgeable about Vancouver and the area. Awesome discoveries in terms of wines and mead.
Michael Lawrence was the perfect host, full of information about Vancouver, proud of his country and delightful to talk to! We referred his tour to a Viking representative.
The boutique wineries shared on this tour and unique insights gained from the hosts were a great addition to our Vancouver experience. Our guide was punctual and offered a luxury experience as we journeyed through the Frazer River Valley.
Michael was a great guide. He knew so much and was very passionate about Vancouver and the surrounding area. We visited four wineries. Three out of the four were very impressive. The second one we really had very little interaction with the host. He had included a nice charcuterie bag for our third stop. However, we were really never given an opportunity to purchase lunch per the tour description. We hadn’t had anything to eat since very early that morning before getting off the cruise ship. We are both dietetics and by the time the tour was over and we were dropped at the airport at 4:30, our blood sugar was very low. Otherwise, the tour was great!
What a great day! This was a fabulous tour of three wineries and one mead producer. Michael has a wealth of knowledge about the local area to share as you spend the day in his beautiful electric vehicle. The valley is bountiful with agricultural delights and gorgeous scenery. Take this tour- you’re in for an interesting and tasty experience.
Michael was very knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make this an enjoyable trip. The lunch was delicious.
Very nice tour of several wineries outside of Vancouver. The scenery is beautiful and the wines were very eclectic. Definitely very different at each stop. Wonderful way to spend a day if you have it to spend in Vancouver.
The meadery and the scenery and the host were great. It was just a good day. Don’t hesitate to join this excursion
This was a lovely tour from start to finish. Picked up from our hotel in a lovely air-conditioned vehicle by a well presented driver who was clearly passionate about Vancouver and provided interesting commentary during the drive to the vineyards. The chose vineyards were lovely and all provided a different array of wines and perspectives. The charcuterie platter provided was lovely - thoughtfully chosen to accompany the wines presented - have to say this was a highlight. The entire day was lovey and nice to experience some of the inland areas of Vancouver. The only slight negative was having to pay for each tasting (per person) at each winery - while I totally understand having to do son, it did detract from the 'vibe' of the day and potentially could be offered as an 'all inclusive' option. Again, we had a lovely day!
Michael was a fantastic host. He was full of information and very accommodating. The snacks were fantastic and the vineyards were amazing. A must do in Vancouver!
Michael was such a lovely and experienced tour operator! We ended up as a small group of 3, which was a pleasant surprise as it made the trip very intimate and personal. We went on a Thursday which was even better as we avoided the crowds and ended up being the only group of tasters at each of the 4 wineries, giving us lots of time to sip our drinks and chat with the winery hosts. Michael kept us punctual from start to finish and there was never a dull moment on the ride to and from each place, as he shared his vast knowledge of Vancouver, funny jokes, and good tunes. His curated bag of charcuterie treats was also a nice touch with the wines we tasted at the third location. He was also very kind and attentive, ensuring the wine we bought was kept safe and labelled for us. Highly recommend touring with Michael -- he's also got a really nice car!
Michal was a wonderful guide & host. He took time on our private tour to cover the history of the wineries & surrounding areas of Vancouver / Frazier Valley. Wines were unique & tastings were explained by the winery hosts. Highly recommend😃‼️👍
We had outstanding experience! The guide and his car is amazing. Especially, honey wine is very good. Thank you so much^ ^
We sure are glad we booked this Mike Lawrence took us on an amazing wine tour! What an awesome experience we highly recommend it!
Great tour by Michael. We enjoyed the different vineyards and trying the various wines. Would recommend booking if you’re staying in Vancouver!
Michael is a very knowledgeable and personable guide. We enjoyed 4 wineries and learning about the area. Highly recommend his choices. We bought from all four visits.
Good knowledge of wine and guiding guest with absolutely perfect choice of wine. looking forward to work with Fraser valley Winery.
Michael was very professional and attentive. He gave us lots of information along the way and made sure everything was set up just perfectly. He provided a nice snack, a comfortable vehicle and his humour was quite a delight. We will definitely recommend his services to friends.
Good guide wineries and transportation felt like a personal experience bought some. Wine and enjoyed the. Tour
We had a great trip and met some really nice people as we tried several different wines with our wine connoisseur Michael Lawrence. Michael shared his knowledge of wine and Vancouver with us throughout the trip and we really appreciated his energy and spirit. Our favorite stop was Festina Lente Estate winery where we tasted several varieties of Meade all of which were wonderful and went really well with the cheese and other snacks provided by Michael. It was a really great day!!
What a great break from the city and a fun trip to the country. You get to learn a lot of exciting information about the area and try some amazing wines!! Highly recommend for tourist or locals.
The trip covered a good variety of vineyards with some fine wines - and really excellent mead - that were well presented by the vineyard staff. Our guide, Michael, had a wealth of information about the region and contributed a lot to the tour. All in all a most enjoyable day out.
Fun day visiting different wineries. Definitely recommend due to the smaller size of the group. We were grouped with 6 gals from Ireland. Would skip the mead portion.
Enjoy the ride with Mike , he was very informative even at the wineries. Each place he picked was very different and had its own style.
Very good, comfortable large van, small group, knowledgeable friendly informative tour guide. Visited 4 wineries, interesting mix of wines to taste. Beautiful country side. Relaxing. Recommend.
Jaibel and I went on the Fraser Valley Wine Tour last week, and we had such an amazing time! We felt like VIP guests because not only did we get picked up and dropped off at our Airbnb in West Vancouver, but we also happened to be the only group who signed up for the tour that day (it was on a Tuesday). On our tour, we started by going to three beautiful wineries. We paid a 10$ tasting fee at each stop, and we got to try 4 wines for that price. We noted that each person we spoke to at the wineries was kind and passionate about their work! Most importantly, we appreciated how we were not made to feel less than because we knew nothing about wine. It was so lovely! Our tour guide, Michael, was also AMAZING! He was so knowledgeable and quite hilarious. We loved his stories and jokes. Since only two of us were on the tour, we finished early. So, Michael took us to a few extra stops, and we had a great time! More than that, Michael packed us a curated selection of charcuterie-style snacks to keep us full. We LOVED that. If you are considering this tour, go for it! We had such a great time.
What a great day we had enjoying the wine tour in Langley. Michael was a wonderful guide and pointed out sites and attractions during our comfortable drive. He took us to 4 different wineries, each one unique from the other. Ample time was given to enjoy the wines. This tour is well worth your time and money.
It was quite enjoyable! Michael is a wealth of knowledge about the area. We did a day trip with some friends as we are local and hadn’t tried it yet, and learned a lot about the area and the local wine. We quite enjoyed the lunch at the end, and the tour itself was informative and fun.
My friend and I did a girls trip to Vancouver and wanted to explore the wineries in the region. Michael kept us entertained from pick up to drop off. He has a wealth of knowledge - not only about Vancouver and the region, but his expertise on a wide range of topics was facinating. We were able to go to three wineries as well as Fort Langley. On the 3rd winery, Michael had a perfectly curated snack bag of cheese, crackers, cookies and chocolates that paired with the Mead we were tasting. It was a day we won't forget anytime soon! Thank you, Michael!
Our tour guide Micheal was phenomenal. Not only was he knowledgeable about the wines and wineries. He had interesting information of the city’s landmarks. I’d highly recommend this tour
Michael was amazing! Such good information and super personable. We had such an easy day, and the pickup and super convenient. You will have plenty of wine on this trip, and Michael brings some awesome snacks! The wineries make great wine, we bought a ton of bottles, and we had the best time.
Michael was very informative about all aspects of our tour. He knew the history of the area and made comments all along our trip to the wine country. His winery choices were interesting as they were so different from California wines! Great tour.
