We had an amazing experience with Andrea on the North Shore food tour. Our guide was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable about the area and history. Each stop was different and offered something delicious and was a great way to discover hidden gems we might not have found. I recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the local food scene and experience some amazing history. Thanks again Andrea for a wonderful afternoon. Judy

Itinerary
Begin at Waterfront Station, one of Vancouver's most iconic transit hubs and a historic landmark in its own right. Housed in a grand early-1900s heritage building on the edge of Gastown, it's the meeting point for the SkyTrain, SeaBus, West Coast Express, and buses — making it the perfect launch pad for exploring the city. With Gastown, Canada Place, and the waterfront all just steps away, it's both a practical starting point and a beautiful piece of Vancouver history.
From Waterfront Station, guests hop aboard the SeaBus for a scenic round-trip harbour crossing. This iconic passenger ferry glides across Burrard Inlet to Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver and back, offering sweeping views of the downtown skyline, the working harbour, and the North Shore mountains along the way. It's a relaxing, quintessentially Vancouver experience — and one of the best value sightseeing rides in the city.
Just steps from the SeaBus terminal, Lonsdale Quay Market is a lively waterfront public market and the perfect place to taste some local foods. Wander the bright, skylit halls filled with fresh food stalls, local vendors, and artisan shops,
Right next to Lonsdale Quay, The Shipyards District is a vibrant waterfront gathering place built on North Vancouver's historic industrial roots. We stroll the scenic promenade and visit some local restaurants, and take in stunning views across the harbour to the downtown skyline.

Great time was had by all. Zach was wonderful as he guided us through out tour of the different foods in North Vancouver. It seemed like Zach just kept raising the bar with the varied options. He also gave us much insight into his home town. Highly recommend!
Great tour, great food. Kelsey took special care of my celiac husband. Highly recommend!
Kelsey was incredible. She was friendly, knowledgeable and took care of us all the way. Food was great and so was the company.
Kelsy was a lovely guide, very friendly and answered all of our questions. The food choices were great and a nice variety, and it was a nice little walk around the shipyards/shoreline.
5 star service, knowledge and food. We did 2 food tours -gas town and ship yards and we were blown away by the tour guides and the company as a whole. Very professional and personable. And great personalities.
We had a fantastic experience on this food tour! It was our first food tour ever, and even though we live in the lower mainland and frequent North Vancouver, we learnt so much and got to discover so many amazing local businesses. Shout-out to our tour guide, Sean, who is very funny and knowledgeable. Thank you so much!
Absolutely loved this food tour and especially our guide Kelsey for our last full day in Vancouver and to discover North Vancouver. She was a delight-kind, extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and made sure we were 100% taken care of and had a blast. Had no idea so many cool eateries and shops existed in this area. Thanks for a fantastic afternoon!
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable on the history of Vancouver as well as the food scene. I recommend her highly try to get her as your tour guide.
Very easy to find meeting spot to begin our journey. Kelsey our guide was a great leader, very friendly and excellent communicator. She was very knowledgeable about some historical aspects of the places we visited. I was afraid I would go hungry with the portion sizes but it was sufficient over the time of the tour. The food were all amazing, I especially loved the pasta. Great size for the tour as well which made it pleasant enough to have conversations amongst each other.
Kelsey was an amazing an knowledgable guide. She made it really fun. And I LOVED hearing a bit about the history of the shipyard.
It’s a fun way to get into the North Vancouver neighborhood. Fair blend of history information and food stops. Would like to have had a couple more food stops to try. But the tour leaves you time to do your own exploring after the events ends.
Great tour! Fun, interesting, informative; all the things I have always loved about food tours. AND if you have any dietary restrictions, Kelsey is the best!
Kelley was an excellent tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable of the area. She added many interesting tidbits. She was thoughtful, friendly and interesting to listen too. Everyone should ask for Kelsey. You won't be disappointed.
We had a lovely day with Kelsey on the food tour. It was great to see an area of Vancouver we wouldn't have come to otherwise, and all the food stops were fantastic. Special mention goes to the peach beer we had at the delicious brewery stop. It was just our family on the tour so felt like a nice private tour as well.
Kelsey shared some hidden gems of North Vancouver we would have never explored on our own. Excellent tour with a relaxed leisurely pace. Food and drinks were all great!
This was an amazing experience that included a boat ride, food and beverage tastings and a very personable guide Kelsey. We loved the small group as it gave us am oppportuntiy to get to know each other and ask questions. This is really part of the appeal of this tour. As a local i was blown away at how accessible and vibrant the North Vancouver Shipyards have become. We were introduced to many excellent places to eat and appreciated the comittment to using smaller local and family run establishments. Highly recommended.
Highly recommended food tour of Vancouver’s north shore area, with Kelsey. Great food, drinks and local color and history by someone who knows local history. Kelsey successfully navigated us through FIFA related security, twice.
We had such a fun time on this tour! Zach was very friendly, knowledgeable & personable! We had 8 different stops - I loved that it wasn’t rushed. The tour lasted approx 3.5hrs. The only thing I would recommend is to provide seabus passes back to the original destination at Waterfront Station. Our passes expired after 90mins & we had to get new ones. The tour should include those.
Great variety of excellent tastes, . The history added by Zach really kept us engaged and wanting more.
The portions were great for the amount of food stops there were. It was interesting to learn more about North Vancouver. Zach was a great guide!
We enjoyed all the food and drinks. Well thought out. Andrea was great! Knowledgeable, fun fit right in with our family!
Great way to experience Vancouver and taste yummy food. Andrea was fantastic with her knowledge and expertise.
We had a great time with Andrea. She was able to accommodate our diets and gave us a nice variety of foods, drinks, and places. Andrea was knowledgable of the history of North Vancouver and shared a lot of information. We couldn’t decide which food we liked best. It was all really good!
Zack was great My friend has mobility issues , and he stayed close to make sure she was ok
The pace was great. Food and drink selections were delicious. We loved hearing about the history of Vancouver and seeing all the beautiful sights. Andrea was a fantastic guide! She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and history.
Best tour we have taken. My husband and I had the best time. We walked, we ate, we drank and we laughed. Our group was the best mix of personalities. Kelsey was very professional. She was knowledgable about the area, the local history, as well as the foods/drinks. She made sure everyone was engaged and kept it fun. The time ticked by so fast. Our group came together as strangers but we departed as friends.
Kelsey was a great tour guide. She knew a lot about the local history and was able to answer everyone’s questions. Food was excellent with larger portions than expected. We were definitely full by the time we finished.
We met Sean at Waterfront Station and caught the seabus over the harbour to Lonsdale Dock North Vancouver, all very efficient. On arrival at Lonsdale Quay the sun was shining which was great. Straight away it felt different to bustling Vancouver city. The feel was more relaxed and clearly a busy socialising space. The tour is very much centred around the quay area with its modern indoor market hall and the surrounding shops and restaurants. The food stops were all good and cocktails and wine included with a lot of the stops. The non-alcoholic options were varied and really good in their own right. There was also a hidden away bar/pub which we probably wouldn’t have found on our own and a brief foray uphill into town for dessert. Sean was friendly and explained the history of the area including some local stories. Thanks Sean for a good time.
Rachel was a top notch instructor. She took us around all these nice restaurants to try. Had a great time
Give you the experience to see different parts of Vancouver and eat great food. The tour guide Rachel was amazing
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Kate. The weather was mostly dry with a little rain. We visited the Seaside Doner Kebab, got our food and went into the quay to eat, next we went to the soup place, Pier 7, a honey shop, a beer place up in an alley, ice cream and a donut place further up Lonsdale. It was a really enjoyable time. The group we were with were very friendly. The only negative comment would be our tour gal Kate needs to get her facts updated a bit. The barges in the harbour are actually ocean going freighters and Seaspan doesn't do just repairs, they are building our newest Coast Guard cutters, ice breakers and Navy ships.
We met Katie our tour guide at the predetermined location. After a brief introduction we boarded the sea taxi and cruised over to North Shore. We enjoyed six tastings. Katie’s narration was interesting and informative. The food and drink offerings satisfied our group’s varying palates. You are served very generous portions at each establishment. At the conclusion of the tour, we were able to further explore North Vancouver at our own pace.
led by Kelsey and attended with a great amount of warmth and friendliness from the other guests . Very good locations and food samples. Thanks Kelsey. Keep up the good work.
Lots of good history of the area along with many tasty bites. Rachel was very knowledgeable and fun!
Fantastic food & drink tour. Kelsey was fun, knowledgeable and a great guide for the tour. It's a must-do when visiting Vancouver.
Our guide Rachel was excellent; informative, helpful and on time. Food stops ranged from really good to just good. Overall this tour exceeded expectations. Recommended.
I LOVED this tour. Rachel was an amazing guide and all of the food we sampled was delicious!! It was wonderful to get so much background information about the area and history...Rachel was so very knowledgeable. The food options and restaurants were all varied and unique - terrific choices, and well paced. I would highly recommend this tour and Rachel.
Lots of fun. Great tastes. Interesting present day and history of the shipyards. Kelsey was very upbeat.
We had a great afternoon with our tourguide Kelsey! The food and drinks were excellent and Kelsey told us a lot if the historie of the docks. I would recommend the tour to everybody!
Rachel was an incredible guide. She not only was very knowledgeable about local history, but also set us up with amazing food experiences. The Kabob and chicken on a donut were our 2 favorites; however the Boston Clam Chowder and Ernest ice cream were also incredible. I sampled 2 local beers and would enjoy a visit to the pub area to sample other beers. The tour was a highlight of our time in the Vancouver area.
Kelsey had a wealth of information about the various architectural and historical features during our walk. We highly recommend Kelsey!!!!!!!! Lots of delicious food!!!!!!!!!!
We had never been on a food tour and loved this one. It’s so fun to take the ferry over to North Vancouver, see the sights, hear about the history, and sample delicious food. This tour was a great value, and Kelsey was a wonderful tour guide.
Wonderful tour especially of the repurposed shipyard. Plenty of food and drink including at some high end spots with great views. Kate was a very personable tour guide who gave us insight into North Van and Vancouver in general. Enjoyed the seabus ride!
Our food tour of north Vancouver was great a lots of tasty food and drinks beautiful area. Our Tour guide Kate was very nice, will recommend.
Excellent stops and variety, great pace, and great guide Sean! He answered all our random Canada questions and was a joy to spend the day with. The views and locations were beautiful too!
We had a lovely afternoon with Kelsey guiding us around some of the food and history of the North Shore. The tour started well with Kelsey meeting us at the entrance to the SeaBus with our tickets for the journey and continued from there. She was very friendly and well informed and we had a lovely time getting to know a bit more about Vancouver. The food and drink were excellent and all the participating companies were friendly and accommodating. The pace of the tour was judged perfectly and the time flew by as we tried out places which we would not have found on our own. We really appreciated being able to take the tour on Sunday as we were unable to join the Saturday tour.
We had an absolutely wonderful time. Our tour guide, Kelsey, was amazing. We had a wide and plentiful variety of foods from savory to sweet. One person in our party uses a manual wheelchair and Kelsey paced the tour perfectly. There was one hill to navigate but we were able to do it (Kelsey offered help but it wasn’t needed). This was by far the highlight of our visit to Vancouver. Thank you for making this such a special day. We especially appreciated learning about the history of the area. Excellent! We highly recommend this tour.
Really great tour. Sean was excellent, first class guide, very informative, and friendly. We had some very tasty food experiences, and discovered unique places we never would have known about if not for Sean. Added to this learnt a lot about the local area, how it's developed over the decades, and the people who lived and worked there. Highly recommended and excellent value.
My wife and I actually live in North Vancouver but had a great time in spite of our knowledge of the area, thanks largely to our guide, Kelsey. We had not heard of, let alone, been to most of the places she took us to. The food and drink choices were great and we didn't need dinner on our return home. The tour was well organised and Kelsey made it even more interesting with all the historical tidbits she imparted. Worth every penny.
