Snowshoe Through Vancouver's Winter Wonderland

Paul and Arman run the best tours. Great cycles, great support and Paul always books fabulous accommodations and restaurants. The rides were superb and it is hard to believe how hard Paul and Arman work.

First day in Vancouver and this was a wonderful way to start. Paul was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable about the wildlife and the route took in forest and incredible views across the city and sea. Would highly recommend, we were complete beginners and snowshoeing is a fun way to see the forest and beautiful snowy landscape. Magical.

Paul is the best tour guide for this activity! The weather was super windy & snowy however he was awesome at keeping everything running smoothly and fun. Due to the weather, my partner started to get super cold. Paul gladly offered his windbreaker to get her out of the cold to get warm quicker. He was so prepared with multiple warmer packs, hot chocolate & granola bars. As well he was super considerate to all skill levels out on the trail. Would 100% recommend!

Absolutely amazing! Paul is a great guide, very knowledgeable and able to share local history; importantly is flexible in plan to cater for fitness levels and interests. Loved every minute!!!

For hiking lovers it is an experience not to be missed. Armand is an excellent guide, very kind, funny, takes good photos, tries to share all his knowledge.

Gorgeous scenery and great people! Paul worked with me to make a tour happen while I was here in Vancouver. Arman did an awesome job guiding our small group (2 people). Great conversation, good pacing and even a little exploring.

The hike is a pleasant 4 miles in a magical setting with amazing views. Regardless of your physical abilities, you'll be made comfortable and allowed to hike at your own pace

Arman was an excellent guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable & fun leading to a really lovely & snowy hike up Cypress. I would highly recommend this for solo travelers or couples.

Arman was a great guide through this experience. Unfortunately the snow wasn’t right for snowshoes but the hike using the microspikes was just as good. Great views at the top of the hike.

So much fun!!! I went solo but in our tour group there were a few families; best group of people! My group had all fitness levels and ages. Everyone said they'd do it again! The guides were knowlegable, patient, considerate, and worked great with all levels. I'm already planning my next snowshoeing tour!

Loved it!! Tour guide very nice and helpful and assuring. I fell behind in the trail and he stayed behind to help me. Assuring me to keep at it —at my own pace. Also had a nice group I went with and had enjoyable conversations even though I was solo. The hot chocolate provided by tour guide was delicious and the views were very Beautiful and scenic. It was a new experience for me and I would very much do it again!!

A great experience being guided along peaceful trails and through stunning scenery. Paul’s knowledge of the area and its natural history added so much depth to the adventure. It was a great way to connect with nature while learning something new. This was the highlight of our trip to Vancouver!

What an amazing day! Surpassed our expectations. We went with our two boys (8 and 10) and they loved every minute. We had great conditions!! So much snow! As the conditions were great and the group was keen, we went off the beaten track - a true adventure! Not at any point did we feel unsafe in Paul’s very knowledgeable company! Our sons are used to hiking but I think most active 8-10year olds would love this experience!! 100pc recommend!

My mom and I had an incredibly fun time trying out snowshoeing, hiking through Lynn Park, and just getting driven around without having to worry about travel 😆 We originally booked the snowshoeing adventure tour, but since snowpack was unusually low this winter, we took the offered alternative tour with only a little snowshoeing in the morning and some other activities afterwards. I super appreciated the flexibility in our schedule and how it was up to group consensus whether we wanted to stay at an activity longer or go to the next one. In particular, my mom (who was the oldest in the group by at least a couple decades) felt very supported by our tour guide Arman. Arman helped ensure everyone felt safe and that no one was left behind. When my mom was worried she would slow the entire group down, he assured her that there was no rush and that “we either all stay together or we don’t go at all”. Arman also taught us so many new things about snow safety, the history of the parks, and ecology! Thanks for making our first trip in Canada so fun!

Would 10/10 recommend!!! Loved the hike and the mountains are absolutely beautiful. The tour guides are super fun and make the experience even better.

This snowshoe tour with Into The Wild was such a great experience! The hotel pick-up was super convenient, and everything felt well-organized from the start. The guide was awesome — sharing cool facts about the forest, winter survival (if caught in an emergency), and interesting tidbits about the Vancouver area. One of the highlights was sipping hot chocolate surrounded by the quiet, snowy woods — it felt like a little moment of magic. The whole trip was a perfect mix of adventure, learning, and just enjoying nature. Highly recommend it if you're looking for something fun and memorable to do in the winter!

This was an incredible experience. Well organized, fun, with kind staff in a great place. I had never snowshoed before and I was quick to learn with their help! I'm a solo lady traveler and I felt safe and comfortable!

This snowshoe tour with Into The Wild was absolutely stunning! Our guide, Paul was amazing – super knowledgeable and friendly, making sure we were all set for the day. Even though it was early winter conditions on the trails (as it is still only mid November), the higher we got up the mountain the deeper the snow got. The trail felt like stepping into a winter wonderland, with breathtaking mountain views and quiet, snow-covered forests all around. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, with plenty of time to soak in the scenery and take photos. The tour is great value for money and they also supplied hot chocolate and snack to keep us warm and full of energy. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get our of the city and rain to experience the magic of winter in Vancouver. I’ll be back for more summer adventures for sure!

We had an absolute blast with Paul and into the wild tours. The perfect trip through the fresh snow, complete with birds and the best hot chocolate. Paul was a wonderful guide who shared his love for the outdoors with our entire group. 10/10 recommend this tour!!

Paul is an excellent guide who provided such a fantastic experience with this adventure. He was extremely friendly, humorous, and considerate. We had a 4-year-old boy in our group, and he made the trip a blast for him. It was heartwarming to see how accommodating he was and how he could connect with everyone in our group. I would 100% recommend this trip to anyone visiting Vancouver and local!

Paul was an amazing guide, friendly, attentive and helpful. The trail itself was great and had a beautiful view of the snowy landscape. Overall we had and amazing time snowshoeing on Cypress mountain and we learned alot.

We had Paul guide us on a first-time snow shoe experience in December. Our teen girls are usually preoccupied with phones, friends, and all things non-snow shoe-ing, so it was FABULOUS to get out in that mountain air and disconnect! Turns out, it was the BEST vacation decision we made. This tour was amazing….I can’t say enough positive things about Paul, the company, the professionalism, the beauty of the mountain, and the overall experience. It’s a 10 out of 10. Thank you Paul for making this the most special memory of our time in Vancouver!

Paul the guide - is such a lovely guy. This is the second trip we have done when we visit vancouver. Snowshoe walking was a first time experience but Paul has it all sorted - all great equipment at hand, and tons of facts and knowledge of the routes. We always meet lovely people on the trips and always have a great time.
