It was very informative while it was working. Unfortunately right outside Squamish it stopped working. I did not want to restart it at that point. I enjoyed it while it was working

Be sure to download before your trip starts! You have to download the Tripvia tours app to listen to the very well done audio. We would have missed Brandywine Falls if not for the audio. We learned a lot. Kids would love it.
All good keeping you entertained Will try the app again Kids liked the test of knowledge Looking forward to the next trip
It was our first time driving the Sea to Sky trail and I have to admit, the purchase of the audio driving tour was great. We did stop at two of the highly recommended stops, Shannon Falls and Brandywine Falls and they were both spectacular. So glad we purchased the tour.
We did learn a lot along the way but found it a little difficult to identify the items mentioned. For the price, I would do it again.
Very boring with so much time consumed with questions. Information would have been good, but the stopping with multiple choice questions was not for us
Jokes were a little cheesy. Wish they had pointed out Howe’s fjord and I’m typing to fill space like this
For so little cost you can get a narrated tour on your drive between Vancouver and Whistler. The app is GPS based so it knows exactly when you’re about to arrive to a location for which there is some narration. Easy to download app and use it. Thank you for this offering.
Well worth doing. We traveled from Vancouver to Whistler and found it very informative and interesting.
Great way to learn a little whilst being in charge of your schedule. We enjoyed the commentary style - a mix of informative and corny humour.
The information provided was very useful and interesting. I would certainly recommend this to anyone driving the Sea to Sky Highway. I am not a techie but I had no trouble syncing this with my rental car's GPS and speakers. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the narrator sometimes was a little needlessly corny in his attempted humor.
Loved the history lesson while driving! Such a great experience and want to look up more audio tours offered. Will definitely make this a recurring part of vacation drives.
We were looking forward to this but the app would not load. It crashed every time I tried to open it. They have not responded to a request for help or a refund.
The drive was absolutely beautiful and we were so glad we stopped at the Sea to Sky Gondola where we were able to get a view from way up of majestic scenery. Love the audio play-by-play tour made the drive so interesting.
Enjoyed the tour! Nice to get a bit of history about the area! The tour encouraged a couple of stops I never would have taken otherwise!
We wanted to drive to Whistler from Vancouver and this driving Tour was a perfect way for us (Australians) to learn about the areas we were driving through. There were some fantastic places to stop and enjoy the scenery. We didn't have any data on our phones but that didn't stop the app working exactly as it was meant to at every information location along the way.
Great up Did not miss any interesting points on the way Highly recommended Nice Locations on the way
I tried this audio app just to see what it had to offer. I have traveled the Sea to Sky route before, but this app definitely provided insight to the history, scenic stops etc. A little glitchy when restarting after a stop along the way, but that could very well be operator error. I liked that you could stop where you wanted, for as long as you wanted - you were not tied to a group agenda.
Amazing views and a fun experience. Great food at the restaurant. Very friendly staff. Nice trails to explore.
Audio worked well.... Very informative and entertaining... Loved the quiz questions... Will use this site again
I tried loading the app before leaving the resort. after 20 minutes i gave up. then tried along the route with no luck. tried one more time when we arrived in whistler and still couldn't get it to load. once i returned to vancouver, i tried again and it still took almost 30 minutes. i wasn't going to make the trip again just to use the audio tour. it's a waste of time and money
This smart audio was poorly done. It didn’t have a lot that Shaka Guide that we used in Hawaii and California. No local music in between the areas not informative. There were so many places that was not told to us as we passed them. The quizzes were definitely unnecessary. Just give us the facts etc. I would never recommend this audio. The GPS could not keep us with us, and we had a 2023 rental car. Listen to the Shaka Guide app to know how to do it Right.
Information was good. No links appeared in descriptions. Narrator was engaging but jokes were bad ( groan) download was clunky
I enjoyed this audio tour although sometimes the narrator was a bit much (the fake laughter). It also seemed to be aimed at those starting in Vancouver and going to Whistler but we still managed to enjoy the 'tour' by going the opposite direction. I thought the app worked very well, you have to have your location on but the app doesn't need to be open / phone awake - it knows when you're getting close to a location on the tour and will just start talking. You can also follow your progress on the map within the app. A great idea!
Very enjoyable narration. Great accompaniment to the beautiful drive. We learned a bunch of interesting facts.
I was not able to connect. Kept clocking the entire trip from Whistler to Vancouver. Would have lived to make the connection
The commentary, quizzes and highlighted points if interest were well presented. Lots of trivia added to keep the tour engaged
Waste of money. Great drive but the trivia is not needed. The few things we learned were good. Seemed to not always be on location.
This tour was really fun and worked great when it worked. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because we could not always get it to work. Possible it was an error on our part, but sometimes the competition with our directions caused us to have to manually get things back on track. Really really enjoyed it though and well worth the very minor cost. Kept my teenage son awake and paying attention to the road trip instead of his phone!
Great tour filled with interesting info, great suggestions on stops, and fun trivia. Kept us and our kids (5,7,9) entertained for the entire trip and we learned a few things! Geofencing worked flawlessly, stop and start as much as you want. Will be looking for similar tours for our next family vacation! Only suggestion would be that the computer voice was a little rigid, might be better with a real person recorded, but minor detail.
No way to make volume so that all 3 people in car could hear. Very little actual information provided. Skip the quizzes.. not useful for 3 adults.
A fun and informative way to experience a beautiful ride - you get a much better sense of the history and what is outside your car windows !
We enjoyed the audio guide during the drive. They must have updated it or something as the previous review said there were corney jokes but we didn't hear any. It was professional with interesting information. Trivia is a nice touch to add some fun to the trip. Will look for more tours in the future.
Way too immature. The information was good but they singing and awful jokes were unnecessary. We stopped it half way thru for this reason.
You should get the whole map loaded formally and not send for every stop. Less quizzing and a little more history
