Roundtrip Private Transfer From Vancouver Airport (Yvr)

From correspondence to delivery everything went like clockwork. Perfect. We were greeted with our names and had a fun time hearing a running commentary about Vancouver.

The good news - We were transported between YVR airport and our downtown hotel successfully, both upon arrival and upon departure. That said, this provider did not meet our expectations and I would not book them again. First, the purchaser should be aware this is not an airport pickup service where the driver comes inside the terminal with a sign to greet you. Rather, it's like pre-booking an Uber. You have to text the service and/or driver that you've arrived, you have to make your way out to the Rideshare pickup area, and you have to wait for the driver (who is in a waiting area some distance away) to come around and pick you up. We had to wait outdoors about 10-15 minutes for the driver to arrive once we made our way outside and located the correct area. Perhaps I didn't read the service description closely enough, but I was expecting an in-terminal greeting that didn't happen. Second, and more importantly, on our return trip from our downtown hotel to the YVR airport, our pickup time passed with no communication from the service or driver. This was unsettling to say the least. I had to actively reach out to the service provider to see if anyone was actually coming to pick us up. Needless to say, we were worried that we were going to be late to the airport and I was starting to scramble to see what alternative arrangements for airport transfer could be made. The driver did eventually arrive, about 5-10 minutes late. Shockingly, the driver never acknowledged that he was late, and he never apologized for the lateness or the lack of communication. Honestly, if the service had just communicated to us that the driver was running late and would be there within 10 minutes of our scheduled pickup time, we would have been mildly annoyed but fine. But to leave us hanging with no proactive communication at all was very bad. I would not book this service again (and if I did, my wife would probably shoot me on the spot!).

I would definitely recommend this service to anyone looking for a worry-free transfer experience in Vancouver.

Our group had first class service from our driver for our transfer from Vancouver airport to our hotel in the city. He was waiting for us and helped with our luggage. Excellent vehicle that held all of our luggage. Highly recommend.

This was a total 'stuff-up' by someone in your office as the company arrived at the airport at 13:05pm and I have emailed with you to say that this was not acceptable as that was the original landing time of our flight. The driver left the airport after 2 hours as we were 1 hour late landing and then had to clear customs, etc and collect our baggage. I had no phone conection in Vancouver so finally had to ask the Visitor staff to try to phone/ or message app the company to ask what they were going to do. Finally a driver came to the airpprt and we were picked up. Doubt that we will use Viator for this type of transfer again if you cannot pass messages to the companies involved. VERY frustrating after a long flight from Brisbane via Auckland.

Great service. Driver waited for us even tho flight was delayed an hour and a half. He also tracked us down in baggage claim. Cannot thank him enough for going out of his way to take care of us

I clearly ordered a min van for 4 adults to pick us up at the airport and was sent a car for 2 adults. We had to wait quite a while for the correct vehicle to show up- very frustrating. We were tired and hungry from our long trip. There was a definite lack of communication!

We had requested a mini van bet ended up with a 4 door Teslar for 4 adults and several big suitcases. The driver was great he managed to get us and our luggage in the car.

Our flight was delayed and by the time we got there he had already left and did not come back to pick us up. Gave them our airlines and flight number. Apparently they do not check that flight is delayed. So we waited while emailing them since they won’t pick the phone up. I won’t never recommend this company!! So unprofessional and unreliable!! We ended up having to take a taxi.

Easy pick up. Our driver had a sign with our name in arrivals. Very friendly and helpful with our (large amount) of luggage! Beautiful car. The only way to travel. My daughter said “ I don’t know what you paid for this but whatever it was it was worth it”

I was told to meet by the totem poles in the airport. There would be a man with my name on a sign. That did not happen. I am extremely unhappy. The driver was very nice however kept saying meet at the meeting place. We were very confused because again we were told to meet at the totem poles and they would be a sign saying my name on it and he would pick me up there. Since you did not do that I will not recommend you again

Our transfer never showed up and told us we cancelled the transfer even though we pre-paid and were waiting at the airport

After a full day of travel with two young children the connection service from the airport to our hotel was quick, efficient, and comfortable. Our driver was professional and helpful.

Can we please have a refund. We booked a minivan which did not turn up. A sedan turned up and could not fit our luggage which we specifically booked the minivan for. We used a taxi service instead.

Excellent driver, vehicle. However, my transfer from the hotel to the cruise port was a no show. After a 30 minute wait we just took a taxi for 1/8 th of their price. Visitor is supposed to refund the full amount. The first leg was great, I would not recommend them.

The beautiful flowers in Vancouver. N we very been to the city of Vancouver, so this was a pleasant way to see the city. Our drive was pleasant and knew his way around town to our destination.

So far our wonderful dinner at the Cactus restaurant in Vancouver!!! We our ready to start our cruise!
