First time booking a private tour with Whistler Valley Tours. Booking with a local 😎 Ryan is a great story teller. The price is definitely worth it. I was willing to pay more for extending our time-because the tour was very informative and fun!! The stunning beauty if Bristish Columbia. Ryan took us a little outside Whistler...nature really put on a show:) Ryan was personable and kind. Was a private tour. I have very bad knees. Seating in the van..the walking was accommodating and perfect. for me. Im sure if there were more than 2 people the tour would still be 🙂 👍 fun. Thank you Ryan! Hope to see you again!

Amazing tour. Saw beautiful places. Learned a lot. Guide was nice and helpful. You should book this tour and enjoy Whistler
Our host, Ryan, was so knowledgeable and friendly. I learned so much about Whistler on the tour and saw amazing sights. Highly recommended!
Absolutely one of the highlights of what was already an amazing week. Our guide, Ryan, was deeply knowledgeable and personable. The time passed quickly, but we were never rushed. We had time to just enjoy several stops and plans for what to do with the remainder of our vacation. Absolute 5star experience.
Ryan was a great guide with so much knowledge. We had a fun tour and would recommend. Looking forward to doing it again if we return in the summer months. Thanks!
We were looking for something low key to do at Whistler because my wife could not ski this time. It was one of the best things we did. Ryan has lived and worked in Whistler for over a decade and knows so much about the history of the place, insider tips and the great places to visit not only in Whistler Village, Upper Village, Creekside but all over the valley. So we came away with a bag full of ideas of how to spend our remaining time at Whistler. He picked us up at our hotel. He was on time, friendly, down to earth, genuine and a really good conversationalist. As tourists we had a lot of questions and he answered every single one. It was 3 hours well-spent and a great activity to do on a weekend or if you just want a rest day from ski-ing or snowboarding. Thanks Ryan! James and Thu
Ryan was very friendly, informative, helpful and fun. I’m on crutches at the moment due to a ski accident and Ryan was very accommodating to what I could/couldn’t do and adapted the tour accordingly. It’s a great tour, your see so much of the valley and also hear some very interesting stories, would highly recommend.
Ryan was an amazing tour guide! He took such good care of us and helped us to learn so much about the area. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to familiarize yourself with all of Whistler. It was a wonderful experience and one that we will go on again!
Ryan was a superb host. He gave us a great tour, and was sensitive to our specific needs. The tour was comprehensive and he was very knowledgeable about the area and local activities. He also demonstrated enormous respect for the local First People and their culture. For an ex-pat Australian he showed a real passion for his chosen home and it was obvious during the whole time we were together. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to see a bigger side of Whistler.
As a solo traveler I’m always looking to learn about where I’m going and understand how it became like this. This was such a good tour. The guide was so nice and he was really being passionate about what he was telling and it helped me understand why whistler is the way it is today! You get to see some amazing views and the guide gives you recommandations about what else you can do while your visiting Whistler. This is a must do when you go to Whistler !
Our family had an amazing tour of Whistler and we strongly recommend this tour if you are visiting Whistler. Ryan is a fantastic tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and made is feel very comfortable on our tour. The bus picked us up from very close to our hotel and we got to see the Whislter sliding centre, amazing lakes and great scenery. As a huge sports fan, it was awesome to visit the venues and get to learn the story of the 2010 Olympics. There is a rich history in Whistler and we would not have discovered this without this tour. The tour was one of our highlights of two weeks of travelling around Canada. Thank you.
Great locations with great stpries, our tour guide Ryan was amazing, very friendly and got to know a lot interesting stories about whistler
We enjoyed our tour and found Ryan very helpful and informative. The transport was comfortable and we felt we had been given a good picture of Whistler and knew where we would like to look further.
The charter bus was comfortable and Ryan made sure we were well-hydrated throughout the trip. With only a couple days in Whistler during non-peak season, my mum and I definitely felt happy in our decision to take a tour with Ryan as he took us to see the sights as well as the parts of Whistler you wouldn't otherwise think to see yourself. We do wish the tour was longer, but we understand that there are many people who come on tour and intend to catch the evening bus later that day. The service throughout was fantastic and we got a flight of really good beer at our drop-off point, courtesy of Ryan's company. Would definitely recommend. :)
Excellent wonderful tour.. Ryan is amazing and so knowledgeable about all the places he took us.. we booked a private tour and my family thoroughly enjoyed it.. we didn’t realize there is so much to do in whistler .. Ryan is very personable and pays attention to smallest detail to suit the people he is touring with.. I highly recommend booking through him.. he plan to go to whistler again and book another tour with him to see other places that we didn’t have time to visit this time..
Ryan is a terrific host , he is very knowledgeable and made our family feel very comfortable. Thanks
Outstanding! The tour day with Ryan was entertaining, educational, funny, engaging and warm. The tour was very extensive and Ryans knowledge is amazing. Thank you for the great tour. I will for sure book my clients with you in the future,
This is THE tour to do in Whistler. We did it on our first day so we could learn about what were the best things to do in Whistler and find out from an expert about, history, culture, activities, how to make the best of your time. Following Ryan’s tour we were able to shape our next few days. As a result we did the peak to peak gondola ride, spent time on the top of the mountain. We visited the farmers market the cultural centre, Vallae lumina and visited some great restaurants also. Ryan is a great guide to go out with, knows his stuff, is interesting and fun and listens to his customers needs. Ryan simply is a gem.
Brilliant ! Ryan is passionate about this home town and very knowledgeable about the area and it’s unique history.
I wasn't sure what to expect but being on the tour with Ryan was an absolute joy. He was knowledgeable, friendlyband accomodating. The entire group learned a lot about Whistler, its history and the surrounding area. It was a great way to see many destinations in an easy and informative way. You can tell the love Ryan has for his work, for Whistler and for people. Highly recommend.
The generosity And availability of our guide. Everything was perfect, he even left me some time to translate as my wife does not speak English.
The private tour was worth it especially if you are interested in learning the history of Whistler. It was amazing and I would defintely go back and have this tour again with my friends.
I am a senior citizen from America and felt my mid January 2022 visit might be my only opportunity to see and experience Whistler. Because it was a private tour Ryan was willing to collect me at our rental condo. He arrived 5 minutes early and came to the door. Prior to collecting me Ryan had shoveled some of the areas we were going to visit. I especially enjoyed experiencing Rainbow Park and hearing the story of the original Whistler settlers. Also appreciated seeing the frozen green lake and hearing the story behind the Whistler name. Ryan has a lot of pride in his community which is appealing. He has lived in Whistler 15 years. I highly recommend tour of Whistler w/ Ryan’s white van company.
Tour guide got lots of knowledge about the place and a real local knows people and knows history and different stuff about what his talking about
This tour was excellent! The owner was very accommodating (we had a dog) and hotel pick up was on time. The tour was less like a tour and more like an adventure. The tour guide told the local stories that I would never have heard if I didn't go on this tour. The tour also highlighted some of the "hidden gems" of the Whistler area. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Whistler with a group. If you are staying multiple days, make sure you do this on your first day! Our guide Ryan was very friendly and was clearly passionate for showing people around!
Excellent service and professional service Is on time for pick up and he gave lot of information of the country I recommend Bryan
Me and my family were so happy to take this tour since we learned a lot about Whistler’s history and we were able to see the best spots in one day!! Also, the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable!!
Ryan was a great tour guide. He is a permanent resident of Whistler and truly loves what Whistler has to offer - to both the residence and the tourists. I most enjoyed finding the nooks and crannies of the area. We had managed to spend a lot of our time in the village on our own so Ryan didn't waste time re showing us things we already discovered. When we asked him questions about a relatively obscure piece of community art, he was able to get us the info we were looking for. Highly recommended.
What a wonderful experience. So knowledgeable and insightful. Very accommodating and friendly. Not only do you experience the amazing scenery, you learn about the history as well.
