Didn’t turn up - concierge at Fairmont Hotel kept in contact with them. In the end they provided a taxi (which we could have organised ourselves through concierge without the hassle or extra cost). Only positive was the taxi driver was very nice and well tipped for getting us to the airport on time.
I received several email and text requests for more information; number of people and number of bags. I responded each time. I heard nothing back after my last response. That left me a bit uneasy so on the morning of my ride to the airport I sent a text to confirm arrival time. I got a text back that I would have to up grade to a van because I had two suit cases and two carryons and two personal items. Two of us. I did not see this text until the next time I spoke to them at 5 min before my departure time. I was rudely informed that since I didn’t provide the information required I would not get a car that day. I had prepaid to Viator $64 for Carmel Car service. I ended up taking a taxi for $31. I would not recommend Carmel car. I used them previously with no problems but was exceedingly disappointed this time. Now I need to go through the process of getting a refund from Viator. I have always been satisfied with their customer service and their taking care of things. Should not have to deal with this on vacation. Carmel Car is US and Canada. I will never use them again. I am finding that on site Taxis are readily available and less expensive.
Avoid at all costs. Its a bait and switch. We told them (and confirmed separately) how many we were and how many bags we had. They sent an inadequate car instead. Because we would have been late we smashed in with luggage on our legs. Terrible service.
Well satisfied with making the arrangements for a 5am pickup. Newton Whalley's driver provided a smooth ride for 4 of us, bags and all.
The booking experience was seamless and the communications from Viator were frequent, especially as we got closer to pick up. I was surprised when a yellow taxi arrived at our hotel in Vancouver rather than the van I booked. The driver was lovely and was able to get our bags into his vehicle. The ride to the airport went well.
The driver was quite late with no warning or notification. He was in quite a hurry especially while driving despite there being no traffic to deal with. He showed up in a random unassociated compact cab. The operator who answered the phone was less than fully helpful.
Early morning transportation to airport. Our driver was friendly and right on time and got us safely to our destination.
The driver did not arrive until well after 3/4 of an hour. We had to take another tax to the airport or miss our flight. This is extremely poor service and we still have not been compensated for the fee we paid to Viator and the fee we paid for the taxi that took us to the airport. We will not book through Viator again.

We typically use Viator for all of all transfer needs. This time, we decided to book a tour in Vancouver, Canada. Unfortunately, my husband became ill and we weren’t able to take the tour. I went online and cancelled and they were able to pick us up and bring us to the airport. I have referred them to family members and friends. I will continue to use them in the future.
Our driver was on time & professional. He made sure we got to the correct departure area so all we had to do was walk in & book in.
We had to change our originally arranged pick up time which was done smoothly. Our taxi arrived promptly and the ride to the airport was stress free.

Pick up went as smoothly even after I had to move my pick up tim up by an hour, I was a little surprised it was in a yellow taxi but I went with it. At the end of the ride I added a tip on the Viator app and the driver was upset and said he would never get it. I sincerely hope that is not the case!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! VIATOR WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY and if there is any issues they will not refund anything. They will put the blame on the client and not attempt to look into anything. Even dealing with Biator over the phone, barely any of the pertinent information that I gave was relayed to the company providing a service. I had to give the same information 6 times (not an exaggeration) over phone, email and what’s app to three companies, Viator, the middle man company and the company providing the service that I wanted. I did not receive the service that I wanted AT ALL and all companies then say a reimbursement should be pursued through Viator. Viator then sends form letters saying they’ve reviewed the “pertinent information and communications” without providing any proof that they even retain communications and deny reimbursements. This has happened to me and a couple of other people I have talked to for different services. I wish I’d talked to them before booking anything. However I will warn anyone I can to use GetYourGuide or other services over Viator whenever possible. If I could give them negative stars, I would.

It worked (without stress). confirmation and process was different between 2 parties of our group which led to confusion. Viator didn't send some info to company and they (the company caught it and reached out to me to fix it). Close to pick up, it was very confusing to find out IF the driver was coming and who to look for (turns out they had my cell and would have called when they got there and were ready to make contact). A bit more stress than i wanted but in the end, they were on time and got me to destination as scheduled.
I’m certain I booked this transfer to include a minivan. However when the driver arrived it was a small suv. There were three of us each with a large checked bag and a carryon. Also some confusion on the pickup location. Driver was fine but we were really tight..
The pictures show really nice vehicles to get picked up in We got a run down yellow taxi van, that did not accommodate 6 people with luggage, we had to get a second run down yellow taxi van to get us all to the hotel, I cancelled the trip from the hotel to the airport as we were not impressed with the service that I booked for
Driver was right on time at 3:00am to take 5 of us to airport. Had plenty room for all our luggage. Very satisfied with everything. Would use them again
Came a little bit early which was great - scheduled to be picked up at 4:00 am and he arrived around 3:55 am. Very safe driver.
I thought I was reserving a private, full sized sedan for transfer to the airport. This was actually subcontracted out to a local cab company (yellow cab), the cab was punctual, though was not a full sized sedan or the level of quality that I was expecting. I understand that when cruise ships come in to port that the demand is high, though again, the service was not as advertised
Our driver was the same coming and going from Vancouver. He was very informative about what we were seeing. He was very kind to all 3 of us! I didn't catch his name but he had a small air freshener on the dash that caught all our eyes..
I was displeased with the private transportation being a taxi service, I felt I paid for private transportation, if I wanted a taxi that cost less I would have called one. Since the taxi did not know our names at pick up we tried calling the service and spent 10-15 min or so we did not know it was for us, since we experienced plenty of taxi trying to give you a ride. When we got our private transportation from Portland OR, airport, it was what we expected.

DO NOT BOOK! What an utter disaster. I arranged this private transfer in a sedan and as pictured in their listing and also in relation to the pricing, I was under the impression that a black car would provide the transportation. I arranged this for my son and his wife as they were in Vancouver to celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary. I was horrified when we walked out to discover a taxi had shown up to provide the trip. WTF!! They had to get to the airport so we had no option but for them to take the ride. I contacted viator to explain the deceptive listing and they reached out to Carmel Limo - Limo is literally in their name - and they are refusing any type of refund! Booking with rideshare or direct with a taxi would have saved so much money so avoid this company!!
Wasn't a private car just a taxi cab Toyota Prius - it got us to the airport safely and driver was pleasant - but was far less than expected from the images on viator app/website

The arrival was late. I never spect a regular Taxi to come to pick us up. It says in the information private transport and shows good reference cars. Ride was not so smooth. A couple of times changing line like someone was chasing us.

Unfortunately, this trip was not what was expected based on the description. We were picked up by a taxi cab, not a black sedan as the add portrayed in photographs. The driver was very difficult to understand given his very thick accent and he drove very erratically.

No communication on pick up time and where they would meet us, Driver got a parking ticket picking us up, got mad, using F-bombs to the airport. I would love to write the whole story, but am limited to how much I can write. We will not be caling them again.
The car never showed up!! I had to call and then they sent us a taxi, which cost $35 when I paid $99 for this service!! Carmel Limousine did not come through!!!! Car was supposed to be there at 10am and by the time they sent the taxi it was almost 10:45! I want to be refunded the difference of $64!!!

We were charged even though the company later said they were booked. If they were booked up, they should not have charged us or accepted the booking! They said we had to work with a viator rep to get our money back instead of they letting. Oat or know directly!
Decided to get a private transfer to the airport to avoid the stress. I did this is in Paris via Viator & was thoroughly happy & relieved of not having to deal with all the unnecessary stress in an unfamiliar country. It’s well worth the expense!!! I highly recommend it!
