Private Arrival Transfer From Vancouver Airport (Yvr)

Had to call driver because flight was 3 hours delayed but he came promptly. Good ride lots of local information

Ordered a limo got a taxi. Unacceptable. We paid limo rate for a taxi whose rate from airport was half what we paid. Waited over 30 minutes.

Very timely pick up and drop off at our Airbnb. We’re definitely use the service again. Very professional and friendly.

Booked a limo from Vancouver airport to downtown. Website photo showed nice cars in fleet. Booked a limo. Got a yellow cab. Rip off.

It’s double the price of a taxi. The driver was nice but it seemed like forever to get there. When you arrive at the airport, you call a number in New York. Then you have to give them all the information and then they transfer you to a local dispatcher and you have to repeat everything again. I thought I was booking a regular sedan but it was a taxi. Never again.

Slow to pickup, poor English skills, very fast driver. Regular taxi although picture shows car service sedans. Misleading. Will not use them again when I travel. Price was good and competitive.

It was a relief to be met at the airport after a long flight - but it took some time to connect with the driver which was frustrating.

I booked the service and realized that it was the wrong day so I called within 15 minutes and was told that it was past the time that you could change it and then I have to call Vader. I called and was told I had to go back to the provider and that they would reach out to me which they did not.

Received phone call from a TAXI CAB company upon arrival at YVR. Arranged pickup location. The driver was courteous and polite. The taxi was dirty inside and out. We know how to hire a taxi. We hired clean private transportation to our hotel. We did NOT get it.

Pick up place not clear thus inconvenient for elderly people to navigate. Transport service very much delayed.

I booked transportation for airport pick up. I spoke with the operator and they let me know that my transportation was confirmed. Upon arrival I was emailing trying to find out where pick up would be and nobody responded to my email. I eventually found the number listed and contact the company and was told that I didn’t have a driver because of a short notice. I had to request a refund through Viator. I haven’t received it yet, but it says that it could take up to two weeks. Their communication needs to be a lot better. If there’s a possibility that they cannot provide day of services they shouldn’t accept bookings.

Great experience!! From the moment we collected our luggage and contacted the number provided things just went very smoothly. Driver was very professional and courteous and got us to the hotel safely. Would highly recommend this service to anyone.

We thought we were booking a private vehicle that would be at the airport when we arrived. They were not at the airport. They were not a private vehicle. We called when we got our luggage. We waited 25 minutes and what arrived...a old yellow taxi which had 600k miles on it and was taped, cracked windshield and rattling. Viator did refund my money, but this shouldn't have happened!

Despite some initial miscommunication, Viator ensured our transportation was quickly rectified. We would call on them again.

All aspects of the pick up and drop off were great. Did have some airline delays, but Viatar handled it smoothly.

Our driver and vehicle was fine. The driver was great. However we scheduled a 1:45 pick up and did not get picked up until after 3:30. Excuse was traffic but … the time frames they gave did not match what happened.

Pick up was quick and he delivered us right to the hotel we had booked. No fuss, no muss. While driving we asked him about the area, which he promptly answered. Very polite and engaged.

Specifically reserved a mini van. A small suv picked us up. We were PACKED in like sardines. Driver was nice, but disappointed in our experience. It would’ve been easier to use UBER.

The arrivals hall was very busy when we arrived in Vancouver and it was a relief to know someone was going to be picking us up rather than us having to wait for the very long line at the taxi rank. After the long flight from Auckland and not sleeping for over 26 hours the driver took care of us and got us to the hotel promptly.

Great driver, prompt, knowledgeable, and helpful. Logistics to connect with the limo company and meet up with him once we had our bags involved several steps and call transfers, a bit of a nuisance.

Excellent service. Our delayed flight was no problem. We were picked up within a few minutes after our call.

We waited 90 minutes after arriving and had to make lots if calls to be told that our driver could not find us. It ended up our driver was a dilapidated yellow taxi parked accross the street. After eventually finding him he drove us to our hotel, repeatedly questioning our address and dropped us off a block away from our hotel, pointed in the general direction for us to find it ourselves and drag our luggage there. Very disappointed-

I ordered a van using Viator to take 4 of us from the Vancouver Airport to our hotel on 7/2. After waiting a very long time and several calls to the "taxi company" that was to us assigned in Vancouver, a driver in a Toyota Prius shows us. We explained that we ordered a van and he insisted that his car was a van. Really? After much back and forth, we jammed ourselves into this tiny car for the trip to the hotel. One of or bags was delayed in Salt Lake City and it was a good thing because all the bag would not have fit in this tiny car. Nevertheless, I was extremely disappointed to say the least, since I had confirmed with the company twice that we wanted a van and they assured me both times we would get one. Never again with I use Viator if this is the kind of service their vendors supply

It was easy to book, the driver was friendly and courteous. Our plane arrived late and we had no issues getting picked up promptly

Never have a delayed flight. Otherwise you might have a nightmare experience like we did on arrival into Vancouver.

Ordered a minivan for 5 and luggage from YRV airport Vancouver to cruise terminal. Had to call them to get someone to show up. Driver got there pretty fast, but was just a local cab? Could only get 3 of us and luggage in his vehicle. My wife and I had to go and get another cab to get to the cruise terminal. Not a big deal, but when you order a minivan for your group and get a cab for 3 plus luggage, not at all what we paid for! Do not use this service in Vancouver! Just get a cab at the airport, 30 minutes and $46 Canadian.

Our driver was very informative and considerate. His vehicle was very clean and comfortable. He was a safe driver as well. Would highly recommend him.

Viator subcontracted out the transportation to Carmel transportation who then sub it out to the local taxi company. I probably could’ve just got myself a taxi and save some money.

Not what was expected. Was just a taxi and had to call to arrange when arrived. Would have been simpler to just take a taxi.

Disappointing, no driver was there to pick us up. Eventually got in contact with operator and ended up in a taxi.

This was a scheduled pick up at the airport to take us to our hotel the night before a cruise. The driver was ontime and professional.

Great driver. Would have rated higher but arranging pickup point was not efficient. Had to wait 15 minutes and multiple phone calls to finally meet. Vehicle was comfortable and accommodating. Driver was polite helpful and safe. Good experience just could stand some improvement in pickup arrangements.

The driver went out of his way to find us, which was appreciated because the directions we received by phone for the location of the pickup point were not clear.

Very disappointed with this service - communication at the airport was not satisfactory, told to call a number so we can be told where the pick up will occur and the person we were talking to didn't understand the layout of the pickup area.

The phone system is awkward. A great many hold please, and I had a difficult time hearing the person on the phone. The Driver was excellent!

We weren’t picked up at the airport, couldn’t connect with anyone by phone, had to use WhatsApp to contact Viator who couldn’t help us anyway. I have asked for a refund and all I have so far is survey on how we enjoyed our service!

Arrived at Vancouver airport a family of 4, one of the adults disabled, when we called the local number provided to us we were told we'd have to leave the terminal and walk a few blocks to meet the car. We had luggage for 4 and a person in a wheelchair. We literally had to argue with the person on the phone that we had to be picked up in front of the terminal and provided with a vehicle large enough to take all our luggage and passengers to a hotel in downtown Vancouver. I paid $72 in advance for this service and was arguing with some dispatcher regarding a meeting place and a vehicle large enough for us all. Needless to say I was very disappoined in the service and will not use Viator again.

This was a huge ripoff. I paid $64 American and they sent a cab. I could have caught a cab for $37 Canadian and it would have been quicker with a shorter walk to the pickup point. Cab driver was very nice and Informative however. .

the driver was a no show. The car company said they had called us to confirm. We had no record on either of our cell phones of a telephone call or voicemail from any unidentified numbers. we had received a confirmation email.
