Luis was a gem and so knowledgeable about the history and landmarks. We chose the private tour to enjoy the company of a local and see this beautiful city through their eyes, experience and their favourite spots.

Luis was a very knowledgable and highly entertaining guide! His insight into what to do, where to eat and all the history of the town and surrounding area was very valuable!

Luis was an excellent, very knowledgeable guide. So much to see! With a 3 hour time frame we could have seen more. For some reason he was under the impression that none of us paid for the tour but we all did. It would have been helpful ( and more professional) if he had a hat or jacket or something to identify himself as a guide. We were looking all over for someone. Great value.

Our tour guide was extremely kind and friendly. Very knowledgable about history and the city of Victoria. We really enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend this tour. I brought a friend for her birthday. We had lunch on the harbor and then met the tour guide at the Visitor Centre at 2 p.m. We had beautiful sunny although chilly weather in early November. Just lovely. The guide was very generous and respectful. So glad we went!

We did the 2.5 hour walking tour of Victoria. The guide was knowledgeable and we learnt a lot and saw the key attractions as well as China Town. Guests introducing themselves was too forced and long winded. Names and where we came from would have been sufficient as it took up 20 minutes of our tour and obviously we never saw the people again!

Enjoyable, informative and interesting with a good bit of humour too. Was a great way to get our bearings in Victoria and learn some of the history and culture. Forrest was a great guide and made this a really good experience for us.

This was a fantastic tour with Forest! Very informative of the beautiful historic sites. Great pace, stopped strategically, brought us to unique quiet spots. Forest gave excellent suggestions for restaurants and pubs. We never would have seen so much of this beautiful city any other way. Highly recommended walking tour.

I went on the Victoria Highlights 2 Hour Private Tour twice! My staff and I travelled to Victoria in two different groups so I was able to enjoy the experience twice. Our guide was Steven and he was fantastic - a great depth of knowledge and he was easily able to adapt to the "styles" of our two different groups. In fact, our first group was somewhat disruptive (in a fun way) and adventurous so we didn't actually finish the tour! Our second group was able to enjoy the entire tour and as it turns out, our first group missed the best part! Anyway, I highly recommend Toonie Tours and wouldn't hesitate to use their services again!

An excellent way to understand both historical and modern day Victoria. Our guide, Steven, was vey well prepared to guide us through the beautiful and sometimes less well known parts of central Victoria. A very well paced tour with plenty of time to ask questions and get a feel for this historical town.

A nice stroll on a beautiful day. We learned about the colorful characters who shaped Victoria's culture and cityscape. Our guide – Forrest – was a homegrown local with a nice depth of knowledge. This tour moves at an easy pace, and is best if you ask questions and get to know the other guests.

We really enjoyed the walk with Jayne, in Victoria. He showed us the parliament, the promenade and told us many anecdotes of the place. The city is very nice and we had a great time. We'd love to come back soon.
