A walk out to an unusual viewing structure - there is a circular ramp up to the top. Once you’ve gotten to the top, there is a plexiglass cubicle that allows a person to stand out over the water and mountains.

Itinerary
Immerse yourself in pristine nature: a steep, forested mountain, high above the Salish Sea. Ascend the spiral ramp to peak adventure. At 250 m above sea level, the tower offers some of the best views on Vancouver Island, including a sweeping panorama of Mt. Baker, Finlayson Arm, the Saanich Peninsula, and islands in two countries. Explore the West Coast from a whole new perspective and then choose your descent with a return walk down the ramp or take the fast route on our Spiral Slide. The arbutus, or Pacific madrone, appears wonderfully exotic with its smooth chartreuse wood covered by reddish, papery bark. It grows on rocky coastlines and, in spring, bears white flowers that smell like honey. In autumn, red berries help feed many of the local birds and wildlife. Coming down from the tower on the 20 metre spiral slide might be the only thing as awesome as the view from the top. Go ahead, take as many turns as you like – we’ll understand.

The view on top is pretty amazing. the walk was not exhausting. Highly recommended to other friends and family
We took our University basketball team to the Malahat Skywalk and it is truly a great experience. It was fun, not over crowded (which was nice) the staff was all very friendly and it was best for getting in a nice outdoor activity with the little time we had between games. It is also nice how close it is from Victoria downtown so you really arent spending an entire day back and forth in a car. Overall a great experience !
Fantastic place with magnificent view , great place to go with children , a gentle walk with a gentle incline to reach the top , with a exciting slide ride down
The drive from Langford to Malahat Skywalk was absolutely beautiful. There is ample parking at no addition fee, the staff were friendly, check-in was a breeze. They have done a fantastic job of providing activities for all ages and fitness levels. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Wonderful experience, great place to explore ✨
An accessible activity for all. Easy walk from the parking lot to the top of the skywalk. Fun activities for children and adults. The views are spectacular. Take the slide down. So fun
Really nice activity to do, nice boardwalk trail to get to the tower, fun (easy) walk up and the netting & slide added a bit of excitement! Lovely place to stop for a coffee, and made even better when you pair it with breakfast at the incredible Villa Eyrie hotel.
Very nice experience. The views are amazing. Great for all the family. The walk is very peaceful. You are quite high. So if you’re afraid of heights not a good idea. You see all the mountains.
Great views and accessible to me with my walker. I used the app and got a great discount. The entry is $50 for adults but we got 2 seniors for $33 each and non seniors are 36.
Get there as soon as it opens so it’s less busy. Great experience especially on a clear skies day. 30 ish mins from downtown
It was great! Highly recommend
Beautiful view overlooking the River. Fun slide coming down. Definitely an attraction I’d recommend.
The experience was absolutely amazing, and the views was something to see. The only concern as we went during a weekday and there was no shuttle. So I had to pay a hefty fee to get there. It was a beautiful day. In the view was extraordinary.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It is new and growing and very easy experience to enjoy. Views are wonderful. The walk is accessible and gradual. The slide after and available ice cream at bottom ids a nice touch. There is an alternate path back that is fun as well.
Easy walk up to the top where the views were spectacular. The wooden sculptures of owls , cougars , bears and foxes nestled in the trees and along the path up to the skywalk were fun and beautifully created . The staff were very friendly and a special shout out to River , he was very friendly and offered and took a beautiful photo of us at the top with an amazing view behind us . Thank you River ! I would recommend buying the tickets online before you go to save a bit of money , we found the admission price a bit steep. The only drawback was the turn around point if coming North from the Malahat . You had to make a left turn crossing traffic which was dangerous in our opinion as the traffic both ways where coming fast , there is no issue if travelling from Victoria .
I was not able to obtain the ticket with a bar code. I tried everything but I was never able to get a ticket. I have a receipt that my account was charged. Please refund my payment!!
What a beautiful way to "hike" this area! The panoramic views, the treetop experience and the information along the way is excellent!
The Malahat Skywalk offers so much more than an exceptional panoramic view. It is an event open to everyone of all ages offering educational discoveries, a chance to appreciate and interact with nature, play outdoor games and relax with food and beverages at the outdoor cafe.
Was fortunate to go on a beautifully clear day and was seriously impressed with the skywalk. An interesting structure, much quicker to walk than expected and an incredible view at the top. Although a quick experience, the value for money was good with the impressive view at little effort. We stayed for 1-2 hours. Would certainly recommend!
What a wonderful trail. This is a very thoughtful and enjoyable experience. We felt safe, and the views are breathtaking. Highly recommend.
It was beautiful and there were stick animals along the way that were cute! The slide was a little faster than I expected, but would do it again! There was also a gift shop that had a lot of cute little items. Would recommended!
Fun experience for the whole family! We are 65+ and enjoyed the walk, the spectacular view and the slide back down!
This was an incredible thing to do with our granddaughter we had an amazing time. Good for all ages.
It was really pretty cool how they built this out in the middle of no where. Beautiful views and easy access for all. Had a wonderful time.
This skywalk is a marvel in construction. The walk to the Tower is built in the forest. You feel like you are on the canopy of the forest. The climb up is gradual and very comfortable. Our fifteen year old loved the slide about ten stories up! He went down three times. The views from above are spectacular! Highly recommend this activity. Earlier is best; it gets busy quickly.
Don’t miss the slide! Super fun. Mellow walk up a ramp with great views. If you can get over your fear of heights, you can look over the clear railing up top, look down the clear floor or walk across the cabled floor.
Amazing experience. Very easy, scenic walk to the ‘tower’, even with strollers. Also easy walk to the top. There are three options (included): walking out onto small glass platform; walk onto large elastic floor with slight bounce, and/or slide down a tube (much of the way down). I tend to fear heights and enclosed spaces but had NO trouble doing all of these. We are in our 70s and enjoyed everything as much as the kids around us. There was also a bird (raptor?) talk and demonstration. Staff was very helpful and encouraging. Plan to spend about 1 1/2 hours to enjoy.
The views are fantastic. Such a beautiful area Be sure to wear long sleeves. I was brave and went down the slide but got off balance on the first right hand turn and got a couple minor skin burns
Great experience! Superb viewpoint, my son loved the slide.
Our family was visiting from the US, and we decided to do this mid-day. The hike was amazing. The views were incredible. The walk along the path was easy despite the weather being slightly hot. The slide down was super fun!!! The free activities were good for kids. Highly recommend it.
This experience was everything it said it would be, boardwalk walk through the trees, spiral incline up and amazing views along the way! Be adventurous and take the slide down, it was worth it!!
Wonderful experience! Great staff and a super fun time.
It is very special and nice - the entry tickets are a bit too pricy. We did not book it but just went there by ourselves. Stunning views, lots of nice things to see and explore. Overall the price is a bit too high, bit still worth going to see it.
This is a unique experience. Beautiful views. Just happy we got there early before the crowds and before the rain. It was a cloudy day but still very cool. We did rent a car rather than take a tour bus.
Super cool place. Amazing views. You can do this quick or spend your time doing some of the activities throughout the property.
It's easy to find, just a 30-minute ride from Victoria. There is plenty of parking, and you are going to enjoy the walk-up. Beautiful carvings on the way up and a view on the top to die for. Going down even better, you take a slide. Super fun.
This was a very unique and fun experience! It’s a beautiful structure in a gorgeous location offering stunning views of the Canadian landscape just a few minutes outside Victoria. We also enjoyed the hidden natural artwork along the path to the skywalk, and fun spiral slide down! The free shuttle bus service was excellent as well. Highly recommend!
The views from the top are amazing, really a magical experience. If you are afraid of heights be aware, you’ll experience fear at the top especially if you decide to walk over the net or take a selfie at the glass cube
Very family friendly and accessible walk up to the top, with views all the way. The slide was the perfect way down. We enjoyed the icecream and diversions at the bottom as well.
I had seen the Malahat Skybridge promotion on King 5 TV Evening Magazine prigram a year ago and had this on a must visit list for our trip to Vancouver Island. The Malahat Skybridge lived up to the hype and exceeded our expectations. What an amazing structure that brings you above the tree tops to outstanding views of nature. The displays explainsing what you are looking at are wonderful as are the extraordinary sculptures throughout the grounds. They have areas for children and activities spinkled throughout. The sizzle ride down was a literal scream with laughter my entire ride down. I laughed for hours at the memory. My husband wished he had video taped it to capture my screams of delight. Tower plaza provided lunch and treats that were delicious. All beef Hot dogs and drinks with waffle cones for dessert were light and fresh. The entertainment provided by the Running Bear family was great with three dances and explanation of their culture. The final dance the invited everyone to participate and youth to elders engaged.
The Malahat Skywalk was a terrific way to spend time while visiting Victoria. The walk on the boardwalk to the Malahat tower was easy, with a very gradual incline and scenic views of the forest, water and mountains. Walking up the tower was so gradual that it was a breeze! We had fun stepping out on the clear platform and the webbing at the top. The slide to the bottom was exhilarating! (The churros from the food truck by the gift shop were yummy too.) Go in the morning to beat the crowds.
Excellent, Beautiful. Do Luke’s walk on the way back if you have younger children. Downside: very expensive.
It was fun for both adults and kids. Didn't go down the slide i was too chicken to do that lol. Loved the wooden shinny sculptures you see some randomly on the trees. Went with my husband and his mum, going up wasn't so hard as I thought it would. But the view was beautiful 😍. Over we all enjoyed it, the only thing I feel they should have don better was the exit, there were no signs wasn't sure what way to take to go back to our car so we had to take the bridge back again.
Great attraction with beautiful views. The slide down was fun for all ages. Beautiful driftwood artwork along the path. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the views from all angles. I used a scooter all the way up and it was fully. accessible
Very interesting and exciting. A unique experience that was fun and educational. Worth the trip and the cost.
We really enjoyed our outing..just make sure to dress in layers for the weather as it changes quickly and have an umbrella. Staff very friendly. Glad there was a concession and a place to sit under a umbrella😉.
Malahat SkyWalk is absolutely incredible! From the moment you step onto the skywalk, the panoramic views of the forest, mountains, and ocean are simply stunning. The structure feels very safe and well-built, and the height gives you that perfect mix of thrill and awe. The highlight for us was the slide — it’s so much fun and really thrilling! It’s safe and enjoyable. Both adults and kids will love it!
Incredible views at the top of the tower. The slide was super fast and fun! Informative and fun for kids and the walkways/trails were beautiful.
Our experience was spectacular from start to finish. The views are panoramically beautiful and the walk itself is so easy for anyone. A truly unforgettable adventure!
