Kelowna Wine Tour By E-bike With Tastings, Lunch & Okanagan Views

A fantastic way to visit 3 quite different wineries in Kelowna. You are given a full briefing by the Lakeside team who also ensure the app is downloaded and working before you leave. The app is brilliant as it keeps you on track, is easy to follow and measures the distance travelled / left. The e bikes are superb, really easy to ride and speed you up any hills. The cycling is on lanes or paths so you don’t feel threatened by traffic. The wines tasted are really excellent and each winery has a great story. All in all, a fantastic way to spend an afternoon.,

So much fun! We went as a group of four girls and had an amazing day. Two girls had never ridden an e-bikes and it was super easy to get the hang of it. Very laid back wineries.

Amazing experience! If you like riding e-bikes and going through scenic roads and agricultural routes and taste some local brilliant wine in the process this is what you have been looking for. I recommend allocating at least 5 hours for this tour so you don’t have to rush anything and can take in all the beautiful scenery!( We stopped at 3 different wineries and some local attractions too to take some pictures.) The weather was cloudy most of the day but it’s one of those things that no matter the weather you are going to have lots of fun!! Thank you Gareth. This was such a great way to explore the area and visit a few different wineries! It was our first time using e-bikes, but they were really easy to get the hang of and made getting around so much fun. We especially loved the flexibility of travelling independently and at our own pace, rather than being part of a group tour. It was also great to try such a variety of wines along the way - the honey wine was particularly different and a really fun one to try! We had a brilliant time and would definitely do something like this again.

Beautiful Aug day to tour wineries on E-bikes! Just like everyone says Gareth and Pam were so helpful explaining equipment and the app with the self guide!! Loved this and would book again. No smog at all!! The wineries were great too. I bought wine as the bikes are equipt with pouches and foam for safe keeping. Thank you Gareth and Pam for making our trip wonderful!

Without a doubt, this was the highlight of our trip to Kelowna. Gareth and Pamela made the entire experience special. They’re incredibly warm, patient, and genuinely care about the people they meet. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and took the time to answer our questions without ever making us feel rushed. The e-bike wine tour is such a fantastic way to explore Kelowna. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into every detail. The bikes are comfortable, well-equipped, and designed to make the ride as easy and enjoyable as possible, whether you’re a regular cyclist or it’s your first time on an e-bike. They hook you up with a navigation app which has all the details of your tour and is really easy to follow (phone can be mounted on the bike handle) What really stood out, though, was the passion Gareth and Pamela have for what they do. They genuinely wanted us to have an amazing day. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Kelowna, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lakeside Eco Sports to anyone. If you’re visiting the area, do yourself a favour and book the e-bike wine tour. You won’t regret it.

10 women, several of who thought they may be uncomfortable on an e-bike. Gareth and his team explain everything and ensure everyone is comfortable before leaving. We all agreed that this day ended up being the highlight of our trip. An amazing way to explore Kelowna and it's beautiful countryside.

Highly recommend this trip. I had a solo experience and was nervous about general navigation but they laid it out perfectly, making it super easy to follow and get where you need to be. Great way to see Kelowna and try some wines along the way!

This was a fabulous way to explore beautiful Kelowna & the vineyards. The owners were very professional & well organised they were a pleasure to deal with. We had a fun day.

My boyfriend and I had the absolute best day on our biking wine tour. The gentleman that runs the company was so friendly and helpful. The bikes have everything you need including phone chargers and padded pockets to safely carry wine bottles. The route was breathtaking and provided the perfect tour of Kelowna's sights and wineries. I am also very short at 5' but the bike height was adjustable and I felt safe. One of my favourite travel experiences so far.

Great day spent traveling our local areas, and visiting wineries in our back yard. Panniers were provided which made it great to carry home some of our treasures. Just a tip for an even better experience - bring a light bag so you can carry your goodies after your trip, and double check that your e-bike has got lots of charge before you head out. The bikes are heavy, and one of our bikes didn't have enough charge for the ride back, very thankful we were on flat ground by then.

I highly recommend taking an e-bike tour to visit the wineries in Kelowna. Riding through the vineyards while enjoying Kelowna's beautiful scenery was an amazing experience. Even with a few construction areas along the way, the bike paths were well maintained and easy to follow. The hills were not difficult at all thanks to the e-bike. The cycling route between the wineries was especially beautiful, and the wine tastings made the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're traveling with friends, family, or on your own, this tour is absolutely worth it. Even if it's your first time riding an e-bike, there's nothing to worry about—the staff are incredibly friendly and explain everything clearly. They also share interesting information about the wines, food pairings, and seasonal fruits, making the experience even more memorable. This was a very well organized wine tour with 3 very great stops. We really enjoyed the wine at hidden vines and the lunch provided at the honey winery was fantastic! It was fairly easy to navigate and we were given plenty of time to enjoy to tour without having to rush back. The route it took us on was very enjoyable, would highly recommend to friends and family!

We had such a good time on the e-bike wine tour. They were so helpful at the start, laying out really clearly what the route was, how to use the navigation app and how to use the bikes. The three wineries we stopped at along the way were so lovely and were very generous with the tastings. We even unfortunately ended up with a flat tyre but the guys at the store came as quick as they could to help us out with no bother whatsoever. 10/10 trip, would definitely recommend when visiting Kelowna!!

We had a great day on the e-bike tour. My wife was a little nervous, we had never been on e-bikes. But they did an excellent job with a full tutorial on what to expect and how to handle everything. The app kept us on route, it would be hard to get lost with the route guidance in both audio and visual form. We would definitely do it again, highly recommended and a great way to enjoy the scenery and wineries.

I always try to book a cycle tour when I’m on holiday - I think it’s a great way to see the city/ area visiting and get some exercise and fresh air at the same time. I can honestly say this was THE most enjoyable cycle tour I have had the pleasure of experiencing. I had changed the timings on line due to driving over from Sun Peaks and arrived an hour early but the team didn’t flinch and set about booking us in straight away. Bikes were already waiting for us and prepared, the app super easy and everything made to be totally uncomplicated. Gareth is absolutely lovely - explaining everything and with passion and enthusiasm of this beautiful city. His colleague (I am so sorry I have forgotten her lovely name) spoke in Spanish to my partner whose native tongue is Spanish and ensured we both understood. The cycle lanes in Kelowna are a joy - no worrying about cars or traffic and the scenery is breathtaking. Then there’s the wineries … 3 in all and each unique in their own way. At the last stop food is included and my goodness huge portions!!! After all that wine for me impossible for one - definitely a shared plate! If you are concerned about your fitness don’t be - the electric bikes are easy to use and fitness level is unimportant. Please don’t think twice - book this tour and you will have an amazing time!!!! This experience truly exceeded all expectations. The hosts were so kind and informative. We ended up booking the day of our flight and they were gracious enough to let us keep our luggage there while we enjoyed the tour. The app on your phone as a guide is genius, it was easy to navigate, highlighted key stops and redirected us seamlessly when we went off course for a photo opportunity! The tour itself is fabulous, beautiful scenic routes and the wineries we stopped at were informative and delicious! We loved the variety and this is an amazing way to do a wine tour in Kelowna- highly recommend!!

I truly can’t say enough good things about Gareth and the team at Lakeside Eco-Sports. They make the entire experience so easy and fun. They were super accommodating with booking. Upon arrival, the team walked us through the GPS app, took the time to show us how to safely use the bikes and told us what to expect on the tour. It was our first time using e-bikes and they made it simple and fun for us. The GPS app was really easy to use and the route took us through such a perfect sampling of the beauty Kelowna has to offer. The hosts at each of the tastings were so friendly and interesting and passionate and the wines were fantastic. A word of advice for out of town visitors - book this experience early in your stay. If we had more time we would have booked a second experience with them! We can’t wait for the next time!

Such a fun experience! Lakeside Eco-Sports staff was friendly and professional, easy to download the app and get the route loaded on my phone. Bike safety and use info was easy to review with reassurance we could call if we needed support. The E-bikes were so fun and really bring the pleasure back to a bike ride using as much or as little power assistance as you like. Lots of nice bike lanes in Kelowna and if there was no designated lane it was a quietly street. Wineries were a neat sampling of three very different establishments. Each one was friendly and informative, low pressure sales which was appreciated. We bought a few things because we wanted to not because we felt we had to. A really great way to spend the day and see some of Kelowna's scenery and wineries. *Don't forget your sunscreen! ;)

It is self guided, but I found a great group. It was gorgeous and the tastings were great! The ebike is a must.

What a great way to see Kelowna from the city to the wine trail. Staff at the store were excellent in setting up the bikes and getting us on our way. The route took us through so many beautiful areas and then up into the wine growing areas where all 3 stops provided excellent tastings and stories. You do have to watch the navigation a bit but it did not hamper us and we had a wonderful experience. Everyone was very nice. Would look to try it again.

Don’t let lack of e-bike experience stop you from doing this tour. Couldn’t be easier or more fun!!!

My friend and I did the Kelowna Wine Tour by E-Bike, and while it was a little nerve-racking at first (neither of us are regular bikers!), we eventually got the hang of it and ended up having a great time. Once we got comfortable, the ride was smooth and easy to follow, no real issues with traffic, and the route offered beautiful views of the Okanagan Valley. The app instructions were mostly clear, though it did use quite a bit of phone battery. You can charge your phone through the bike, but it doesn’t charge quickly — so plan ahead and bring a charger! Thankfully, we were able to plug in at one of the winery stops, which saved us. We visited three wineries along the route. Hidden Vines had a friendly owner and nice conversation, but since it’s new and still setting up operations, there wasn’t much to see, especially compared to some of the more established wineries in the area. Our last stop, Meadow Vista, was a definite highlight. The lunch was delicious, and their honey wine was very unique, definitely something different and memorable. Overall, it was a fun and scenic experience, perfect for anyone wanting to combine a little adventure with wine tasting. Once you get past the initial nerves, it’s a great way to enjoy Kelowna’s wine country.

Best way to tour east Kelowna wineries! Excellent bikes and thorough orientation. Breathtaking views off the beaten path and visiting smaller gems of wineries. Loved Hidden Vines!

Fantastic day out from start to finish!! Highly recommend the experience. Bikes are great and the way you’re welcomed and given the induction to the day out was first class. It’s a beautiful journey along the banks of the lake and then into wine country and the wine tastings not bad either. We got 5 samples at each of the three vineyards and the bikes are so well set up you could carry 16 bottles each back if you so desired. Shame we are flying home unless we’d have filled our bikes. Hidden wines was our favourite. We would recommend anyone to try it, as long as you can sit on a bike that’s all you need, you don’t even need to peddle as the bike will do it for you if you want.

Brilliant. We had two days on e-bikes, the first with the wine tour (three wonderfully diverse wineries, easy cycling between them) and the second a rental which took us along the Okanagan rail trail to Oyama Lake. Gareth’s enthusiasm and concern for his customers mark him out. The equipment and advice are designed to provide a superb experience. We had a memorable time.

E-biking along the shores of Lake Okanagan, through Kelowna, and into the rolling hills of wine country was the perfect way to take in the scenery and explore the region’s wineries at our own pace. The e-bikes were easy to use and made the self-guided tour both relaxing and exciting. Cruising from one winery to the next, we were able to soak up the stunning views and enjoy every moment of the ride. Each winery we visited—Hidden Vines, Spearhead, and Meadow Vista—offered something unique. The hosts were warm, knowledgeable, and passionate, making each tasting experience engaging and informative. We not only enjoyed some excellent wines and meads but also learned a lot about the local terroir and winemaking processes. Best of all, we never felt rushed. We had plenty of time to savor each tasting and enjoy a delicious lunch along the way. If you’re looking for a fun, scenic, and tasty way to explore Kelowna’s wine scene, this e-bike tour is a must!

Well organized ebike tour (keep in mind this is a SELF-GUIDED tour). Full orientation on the trail and bikes at arrival. High-end ebike with lots of power and battery longevity, good for the 4-5 hours length of this tour. Only issues: minor irritant with bike motor which was a distraction to the 'quiet', but didn't disrupt performance, and secondly, the GPS / app gave some confusing directions at times. Be prepared for construction along the way. Area drivers seem accustomed to cyclists and give lots of room when passing. The wineries were all great, lunch options were 'mid' at the last place. For the rental and length of the ride, it's good value. Definitely enjoyable to see the region on two wheels vs car!

Highly, highly recommend. 4 of us took this tour this tour and had a blast. The owner is well organized and welcoming. We were set up with the bikes, the tracking/mapping app and were given a good overview of our 3 winery stops. Bikes are in immaculate condition. It’s self-guided, but the app keeps you on the right path. The winery staff at each location were welcoming and generous with their pours. Find a day to do it - fantastic time!

What an amazing day. We could not have asked for a better experience. Both staff were super friendly and helpful. The bikes were immaculate and rode smooth. The 3 winery partners were also excellent. We really liked Hidden Hills for their small business feel and personal touch by the owner. This is a must for anyone wanting to see stunning views and have fun with friends. Price was super reasonable for a 5 hour ride and 3 tastings plus lunch.

Fantastic fun? Gareth was amazing, made excellent recommendations and made sure we knew exactly what we were doing. We had some novices and he made sure they were perfectly comfortable before we left. The bikes hold lots of wine and you can do the whole tour without pedalling if you want. We loved it

Wonderful experience! The tour operators were so lovely and the winery staff were welcoming and knowledgeable about their product. Charge your phone as you will need it for the tour navigation app and it needs a far bit of juice over the day.

I went with a group of girls and it was SO MUCH FUN! There were about 15 of us and we had so much fun checking all the wineries and pedalling around, it honestly felt like something out of a movie and we all kept saying that we couldn't believe this was in Kelowna!!
