Great central meeting location, very knowledgeable guide, excellent wineries, beautiful scenery getting to the wineries, plenty of time to sip and buy, excellent food at the second stop. Would highly recommend!

The trip from Victoria to the wineries is very scenic. Each winery is unique and in a beautiful setting. The wines were awesome.

Beautiful area. Nice wineries. Tour said we'd have charcuterie, but it was pizza. Guide talked a lot about himself, but not much about the area, history, nothing about the wineries even when asked. There was no commentary on the return trip.

Great experience with Julia as our guide. Knowledgeable about the area and fun to talk to, she was a great guide. The wineries in the area are getting better but aren't quite up to the Okanagan yet. But still worth trying out to check out their latest work.

My wife and I had a tremendous time on our wine tasting through the Cowichan valley. Each winery was only about 10/15 minute drive from each other, the setting and vibe at all of them was relaxed/calm/not pretentious and our group were all friendly. It was a great way to get around the valley and visit some wineries

Went to three wineries, each with very different vibes. Enjoyed the pizza and charcuterie at the second stop. Tour guide was informative and friendly and stopped at viewpoints, which we appreciated. Comfortable ride.

We had a wonderful day exploring the Cowichan Valley with our guide, Scott. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. His passion for the region and its wines really added to the tour. We visited Averill Creek, Blue Grouse, and Cherry Point Winery, and each winery had its own unique style and atmosphere. It was a great opportunity to experience the diversity of Vancouver Island wines—from elegant, cool-climate expressions to warm hospitality and beautiful vineyard views. Our driver Julia was good and helped the group a lot. The wineries were not very good. The first one at Cherry Point was the best. The second, Blue Grouse was ok but just so so. Scenery and facility there was very nice. Unsworth wasn’t friendly and could have cared less if we were there. Having visited wineries all over the world, this tour was disappointing. The views and the area is worth taking the trip away from Victoria but if you want to really learn about wines and the process, you’ll be disappointed. At Unsworth they poured some of our samples without any explanation. The Cherry Point Winery is a small boutique winery run by two amazing people. You get some good wines and great explanations. It’s the only place we purchased any wine. At two of the three they poured samples into previously used glasses so it was more difficult to examine the differences and tastes. I’m not sure it was worth the price. It’s sad because it was not busy and they are all trying to build the business. In that regard they get poor marks.

We did the 1/2 day wine tour in the Cowichan Valley and we had an amazing time. 3 wineries with amazing views and the charcuterie at the Blue Grouse was delicious! Our guide Kim was fantastic, and made our trip memorable. Thanks Kim

Our autumn wine tour with Canadian Craft Tours was outstanding. Visiting after peak season meant a slower pace and more personalised tastings at each stop. Kim, our guide, brought a great vibe and took care of every detail — even with typical fall weather in the mix. A wonderful, low-stress way to explore Victoria’s wineries.

Our driver and guide was Scott, a very friendly, knowledgeable, young man. Our group of four ladies were impressed by how he made us feel so comfortable and his continuous humour. We really enjoyed the wine tour which stopped at three different wineries and loved the lunch at the second one that was part of the package. It was a wonderful charcuterie board. The service was phenomenal, the wines were delicious and the service was excellent. This wine tour was an excellent choice while we were staying in Victoria.😊

This was a great way to spend a rainy day. Scott was an informative and entertaining guide and driver. He took us on scenic backroads on the way to the wineries, which was a nice way to see parts of Victoria and the countryside that we would have otherwise missed. We enjoyed all 3 wineries, but Cherry Point was a favorite because of its interesting wines and intimate setting with the tasting conducted by the owner.

Scott did a great job on our tour. He was a good driver and put everyone in the van at ease. His knowledgeable insights about the region and the wineries added to the enjoyment. Cherry Point was our favorite! The owner talked us through his process and we learned a lot. If you’re trying to book this and it says they are full just keep trying. Because people cancel up to the day before there usually empty seats at the last minute.

Comfortable traveling through scenic Vancouver Island. Our tour guide Kim was fun and made the trips interesting. She helped with couple pictures and identified local flowers. Taste testing servers were knowledgeable and helpful. Charcuterie at the second vineyard was very good generous portion and complemented the wine nicely.

Our tour guide Kim was excellent. Thank you for the excellent music and photography skills. Cherry Hill point winery was outstanding. Our group could have stayed all day. Blue Grouse winery had a great charcuterie board. Enrico Winery was full of disappointment

The Cowichan half day wine tour was wonderful. The wineries were pleasant and informational. Convenient pick up in front of the Empress hotel and our tour guide/driver Scott was awesome. He made a typical wine tour into an experience. I highly recommend Canadian Craft Tours for your touring experience.

We had a great day visiting three beautiful wineries in the Cowichan Valley. The weather was wonderful so we were able to enjoy the outdoors. Scott was a great guide and did a wonderful job of giving us interesting information about the area and the places we visited. The scenery was beautiful. We had a lovely day!

We saw three wineries. The first, Cherry Point, was wonderful. The person pouring took time to talk about each wine, what it can be paired with, and answered questions. She seemed to care that we were learning about the wines and the winery. The other two wineries rushed through the explanations and descriptions of the wines. The pourers seemed to be in a hurry to move on to other things. The wines were all good, though, and the food at the second winery was delicious. Our driver, Kim, was helpful and fun.

Our driver was nice but could have shared more information about Victoria’ and the Cowichan Valley. Our bus broke down on a busy highway. At first we were told Uber cars were coming to pick us Up. 20 minutes later they told us a new bus was coming in 40 minutes . Waiting this long on the side of the road is not acceptable. The wineries we visited were able to accommodate our late arrivals. They were all nice. It was just disappointing that we lost 1.5 hours of our day on the side of the road. The bus overheated and the engine seized. It could not be fixed. The ride to the wineries was 1hour each way. Victoria is so beautiful it may be better to just stay in the city.

Great fun. Scott was a knowledgeable guide, we had great wine and food, and we saw some lovely scenery in the Cowichan valley.

7/3/25 Scott was a great guide/driver. Type wineries were fantastic and I learned a lot! And getting to know the other participants was fun as well. Great group.

Wineries were all excellent. Great experience. The bus and tour though, 22 people was so many. Was way too much trying to get a good experience in the cellar room at winery, couldn't fit around the area. Also the bus is old, sitting in the back half was so bumpy the whole time you felt everything.

I had an absolutely wonderful time on this wine tour! Our guide Scott was friendly, professional, and full of great local insight. He really knew the area well and took us to a great mix of wineries, each with its own charm. What made the experience even better was the personal attention I received. I never felt like just another person on the tour—the guide made sure everyone was comfortable, having fun, and getting the most out of the day. He even played my favourite Sia song along the way and dropped me and another couple off at our hotel a few blocks away from the original drop off spot. I can’t recommend this tour enough!

Great trip! Small group, traveled in comfortable van. Wineries were lovely, gave generous tastes. We did this on the last day of our vacation and it was a relaxing, pleasurable way to wrap up our trip. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful experience touring Cowichan Valley wineries. Appreciated seeing three, all very different and unique tasting experience (esp. Cherry Point where owner Javier was so passionate about the land, his product and a priceless personality!). Kim was an excellent driver and guide, warm and knowledgeable and provided a lovely experience. We had an outstanding experience with our tour guide, Colin Hawes! His extensive knowledge and excellent recommendations for Victoria truly enhanced our trip (his dinner recommendation was specacular!) The tour was intimate with only ourselves and another couple. Our favorite stop was Cherry Point Winery, and the views at Blue Grouse were breathtaking, even in the rain. The charcuterie lunch was delicious, and the tastings at each winery were exceptional. Highly recommend this tour!

My wife and I went on this tour and had a great time. The van was on time and was very comfortable for our journey from Victoria to Cowichan Valley. Our tour guide Colin did a great job driving and chatting about the wineries we were to visit. We were a small group of seven, and we got to know a great group of people from around North America. We stopped at 3 wineries, and had lots of time at each. First up was Averill Creek, very nice facility and very nice Pinot Noir to try. A very nice charcuterie and cheese board was served at the second stop as lunch (Unsworth). Last stop was Cherry Point, not to missed! We learned a lot from the owner, who is very passionate about his wines! Highly recommended tour!

We had a very fun filled day with Collin as our driver. He was personable, knowledgeable and fun. We’re from California and know good wines, so I was pleasantly and extremely surprised at just how good the wine was at each of the wineries we visited. All-in-all, it was just a perfect day!

Collin was fantastic the tour was great only gripe would be a the pick up instructions sort of let you know where you need to be picked up but everyone there didn't figure it out untill the shuttle was there and Collin rangled us up

Booking the wine tour was super easy, communication and follow up was outstanding! The shuttle driver/tour guide was incredible! Super knowledgeable and passionate! She didn’t invade our space but was always withen an arms length for help or answering questions. Although we didn’t have the best experience at one of the wineries, the guide continued to help us in any way she could and made the absolute best of the situation and got the mood lively again. Highly reccomend booking with Canadian craft tour! You will not be disappointed with their dedication to customer experience and communication!

Loved all three wineries and wines and really enjoyed the other visitors with us on the tour! The driver was also very personable and knowledgeable.
