This walking brunch tour was a highlight of our time in Vancouver. Our guide, Andrea, was incredible!!! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. We left the tour wanting to spend more time with her and see the city through her eyes. I tried food I've never had before while on this tour, and that was genuninely a surprise for me. All of it was delicious! Andrea - thank you again for making our time so special. You are always and forever a part of "The Brunch Crew" :)

We had such a good time learning about the local history and taking in the scenery. The food was AMAZING! I especially loved the Italian restaurant! Our guide was terrific and very knowledgeable!
The history and flavours of Gastown were on full display during our delightful tour with David! From coffee and donuts through savoury bites, we made 5 stops and left full of food and new information… excellent tour!
The weird mixtures of different foods, including Bolognese and egg with orange juice to drink, gave me a upset stomach for the rest of the day
Connor was an excellent guide and we really enjoyed the tour. We learned a lot, the food was delicious, and overall it was excellent value for money.
The food was incredible and the guide, Kate was very personable with great stories. She did a great job including everyone in the conversation. So much fun!
Lovely way to spend our first morning in Vancouver. The tour of Gastown with Sean was informative and gave us the background of the city. Our food stops were a mix of sweet and savory so everyone found something they liked. A very enjoyable tour.
We don't have a large breakfast appetite and each of these stops could be considered a meal. Advice is to sample lightly. First stop was a great glazed donut, but should only have had a bite considering what was coming. Coffee stop was just so so. Really strong. We are more of a Dunkin fan. Egg Bolenese was incredible. Ukranian pancake was a delicious surprise, but had no more stomach capacity, so couldn't eat it all.
Kelsey was great! The North Vancouver tour was filled with the history of the dockyards, I took her advice and went to see the museum after and saw a pic of her in her Rosie the Riveter outfit. I also took the Gastown tour, both the brunch and afternoon ones, with Daniel and Andrea. Both guides were knowledgable and entertaining. While some of the spots I ended up at twice, I wasn't served the same thing.
The tour was amazing!! Chirag was an incredible guide and all of the food was delicious!
Connor was a great guide! Very knowledgeable of the history and food. The walk was easy. The food was interesting and delicious.
Connor was a great guide. All the stops were tasty. Its an easy walk and a fun way to visit Gastown! Group was very congenial.
Great food tour with Conner Enjoyed both the stops and history
Chirug was amazing! He was very informative about the food and the local history. We were lucky enough to have a small group. He was very attentive to all of our needs and made sure the food was adjusted for some of the picky eaters! He even spoke to us about hockey, even if he was a Calgary fan. Go Canes!!
Connor was great and knowledgable! Would have liked a couple more stops on our tour.
We really enjoyed our brunch tour with Sean! As Vancouver locals it was so fun to learn some facts about Gaston that we don’t know as well as get to try a bunch of delicious spots! You just. Any sample that many places in a day on your own since the small plates are not generally available to purchase for regular patrons. We really enjoyed the mix of food, the small group and left full and happy.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This Gastown brunch tour was a fantastic experience and a great way to explore the neighborhood through food and history. Delicious food and he pace was relaxed and enjoyable. Our guide, Connor, was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging, sharing interesting stories about Gastown that made the walk even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour for both visitors and locals.
Loved this brunch tour with Sean! He was so friendly and knowledgeable about Gastown’s history and restaurant scene! Had a blast and got to eat some yummy food that I wouldn’t have known about otherwise. Nice to have a tour in the morning, so you still have the whole day ahead of you! Perfect!
Fabulous experience with great food! Sean was an awesome and knowledgeable guide. All four of us really enjoyed the entire morning.
Excellent experiences with the choice of restaurants. Each one was unique in a wau that satisfied a whole range of taste. Love the tea, tasty bits at Nelson the Seagull. The egg dish at Brioche and the mimosa was a real treat. Thanks to Sean Sean, our guide was excellent and friendly. He provide us a interesting history of Gastown, facts, as a longtime Vancouverites did not even know. Overall it was a delightfull tour, I highly recommend it.
I was so impressed with this tour. I am coeliac and gluten free, and was so surprised when we visited Lee's Doughnuts in Gastown, that they had brought me a gluten free doughnut all the way from North Vancouver. The food was excellent, lots of new tastes and experiences, rooibos latte - delicious. Rachel was a very informative and knowledgeable guide. This tour was way above my expectations, and so pleased to have gluten free options at every stop. Maggi
I’m a firm believer that small group tours are a great way to get a feel for an unfamiliar city. And what better way than to add in amazing food and a little taste of the history? We had a really fun and informative guide, Chireg, who made our tour awesome. Don’t sleep on this when visiting Vancouver. So glad we took this tour!
We live close to Vancouver and we did this tour with 3 teenage boys to keep them busy, fed, entertained and educated. We all really enjoyed it. Connor (our guide) was knowledgeable and entertaining, the food was delicious and a good time was had by all.
This Brunch tour was so great! The food tastings were so delicious and not like regular boring brunch items that you normally get a restaurant. Our guide Gabriel was a gracious host and funny and it was perfect in length and very well organized. Also, heard that Gastown is so busy and crowded but it was very nice and peaceful in the morning. Thanks Gabriel for taking us around your favourite spots! Highly recommend this tour.
Gabriel's tour was very entertaining Nd the variety of foods tasted with commentary was excellent. Thanks for a great morning. Cheers from the Aussie Craig's.
The tour with Dan was excellent. Good information, good food and dring. The time went too quickly. The group was also good.
Conner our guide, was knowledgeable and interesting. The food was delicious and I learned so much about the history of Gastown . The restaurants on our Brunch Tour were less noisy and busy than food tours I’ve taken in the evening. I highly recommend starting your day with this tour.
Awesome brunch tour. Sean is a very knowledgeable and fun tour guide! All 5 stops were quite unique and the food was delicious!
Lovely way to explore the downtown area of Vancouver with knowledgeable, friendly and witty guides who gave us some good historical insight into the area, and the restaurants. The food was great with a good range of tasty foods
I had the opportunity to join this tour last Tuesday, and it was a wonderful experience! I love learning about the history of a city, and this tour was a fantastic way to explore Gastown’s rich past while tasting delicious food from different local restaurants. The portion sizes were generous, and I really appreciated how they thoughtfully accommodated our food allergies. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys good food and fascinating stories!
Our team had such a lovely morning on the brunch tour! Sean was a phenominal guide - quick, funny, educational and charismatic. I learned so many new fun facts and history about Gastown and uncovered new restaurant locations that I'll definitely be returning to in the future.
This was a fantastic morning- Dean was a great guide, the food delicious, and lots of great Gastown stories woven through the experience.
I'm a big fan of brunch, so when I heard about this tour, I was instantly excited — and it did not disappoint! It’s a fantastic way to spend time in Vancouver, especially if you enjoy exploring historic neighbourhoods like Gastown, learning about the city’s rich past, and indulging in delicious brunch bites along the way. I absolutely loved it! Our tour guide, Sean, was amazing — witty, engaging, and full of fascinating stories. The perfect pairing for a great brunch experience!
Sean was a great guide! Not only was he knowledgeable about many cool facts of the city, he also kept the group entertained with his great energy and was approachable to answer any questions we had. The tour is unique in the sense that you get to visit many non touristy spots and experience true local businesses with a cool vibe. One of my favourites was visiting a cafe that used to be a nightclub! For food, you get to try a few different bites at 5 different spots. Even though they are "bites" or samplers, we were stuffed by the end and everything was delicious!
This was such an amazing and delicious tour! Our guide was lovely, very funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about Gastown’s history. The tour was well-rounded — we enjoyed a fantastic mix of savoury and sweet dishes, along with fresh bread, coffee, tea, a mimosa, and even a waffle! Highly recommended!
We had so much fun on the Gastown Brunch Tour. Sean was our main guide, with Chirag and Gabriel along as well. They were all so fun and friendly. They made sure to make everyone feel special and seen. We laughed, ate amazing food and learned so much about Vancouver/Gastown. I highly recommend any of their tours! PS: There was a woman on our tour who was gluten-free and they accommodated her so nicely at each stop. She raved about the food, too!
What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning! I don't find myself in Gastown very often, and was genuinely surprised by these hidden gems that we were taken to! From the architectural inspiration of Waterfront Station, to the San Fransico oriel windows, it was a great reminder of just how much history there is in Gastown. Our tour guide was friendly, fun and informative, and my husband and I were both blown away by the variety of food we got to try! As a vegetarian, I was very impressed with the selections that were offered and will definitely be going back to these restaurants!
Connor was our guide and he was fantastic. From the get go, we knew he was in commnand, by explaining the afternoon agenda, where we were going, access to comfort locations, menues, building access, safety precaution & how the event would end. He then entertained us the entire 3 hours with much humour, stories, historical events, provided a detail chef's explanation of the food preparations and contents at each location. 2 guests had food allergies, Connar looked after their needs at every stop. Connar did a magnificant job, both of us were indeed impressed. Thank you Taste Vancouver Food Tours. Lynne & Bob Delta, BC
I had the pleasure of doing the walking brunch tour in April 2025 in Gastown. Our tour guide Sean provided us with a fabulous historical & gastronomic experience. He was organized, well informed and shared his great sense of humour! The foods we sampled were of wonderful variety & tastes. Can’t wait to do this again!
As a vegan on a brunch tour, I wasn't sure how many options I would realistically have—but Taste Vancouver has outdone itself once again! This was a marvelous little tour with delicious offerings for all the dietary needs in our group. It was just the right amount of food too. We visited some real hidden gems in Gastown; Sean knows the neighbourhood so well and was able to teach us not just about the area but also about the unique histories of the restaurants we visited. Every single one of the stops is a place I would happily go back to for brunch. Trying all four in one morning is SUCH great value, especially when you consider that some brunch spots in Vancouver have hours-long line-ups (while Taste Vancouver groups just waltz right in)! Highly recommend this experience for both tourists and locals.
This was such a fantastic experience! I learned so much about Gastown and the food was amazing!!! Our tour guide, Sean, was really knowledgeable about the area's history, the food, and had personal connections with the owners of the restaurants and cafés we visited! I would recommend to anyone - visitors and locals alike!
We had a fantastic time on the tour! Sean was our guide and we really enjoyed how knowledgeable and personable he was. The food and drink at each location was delicious and I'd highly recommend this to not only people visiting from out of town but to locals as well - maybe you'll come across some hidden gems that weren't on your radar ;)
The Brunch Walking Tour was amazing! The mixture of fun, facts combined with meeting new friends was the best couple of hours of have spent in a long time 👍😊
Absolutely loved this tour! I’m local to Vancouver and still discovered new places and stories that gave me a whole new appreciation for Gastown. Everything flowed so naturally. The pace was easy, the food was next level, and our guide was warm and engaging. Whether you're visiting or live here, it’s such a fun way to spend the morning. Highly recommend.
Outstanding! What a great way to get to know Vancouver and experience Gastown!! Our guide, Sean, was fun loving and knowledgeable; and each tour stop was a delight. From savoury to sweet, we had a delicious tour. I especially appreciated the accommodation they made for people with diet allergies and/or preferences.
I lived near Gastown for years and thought I knew the area well, but this tour completely surprised me! I had done their original Gastown food tour before and loved it, so I was excited to try this one. It absolutely lived up to my expectations. The tour takes you on a guided walk through Gastown, stopping at a variety of local spots for delicious little bites and sips. Along the way, you hear amazing stories and learn about the rich history of the neighborhood. The food selection was fantastic and every stop felt unique and thoughtful. One of the biggest highlights for me was discovering Nelson the Seagull. Even after living nearby for years, I had somehow never been. Their sourdough was incredible and I will definitely be going back to get more. Whether you are visiting Vancouver for the first time or you have lived here your whole life, this tour is such a fun and memorable way to experience the city. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves food, history, and discovering hidden gems.
