We liked the tour but the app crashed a few times and would stop and not restart at others, so that part was annoying

This is a great way to get to know Downtown Victoria, BC at your own pace. Pop in your earbuds and follow along. Stop along the way to shop or grab a bite, put the app on pause and resume when you are ready. Definitely some interesting places you may not find on your own and a history lesson included!
I could not get it to work. I kept hitting start but nothing would happen. So I closed out to try again but then had to re-enter the code. It still wouldn’t work
There were too many people to finish the tour, but we enjoyed what of it we were able to do. We learned a lot. The sound track was not quite loud enough when walking through noisy crowds.
Great to help navigate and learn about the history while on short stop during our cruise at night when all the establishments were closed.
This walking tour was great!! We really enjoyed it. NOTE: you must download the VoiceMap app/ set up account there for this to work. We almost gave up on the audio tour all together but then I tried clicking on the “contact tour operator” box and then all the info that explained about needing to use the app was as clearly laid out there.
We were never able to get it to work. We gave up and did not use it. It was a waste of money. The direction did not match what it showed on the screen.
The commentary and instructions were great. It even identifies when you get a bit lost. Found that out when I deliberately went off track.
Downtown Victoria is beautiful. It is definitely worth seeing. We did a self guided walking tour so we were able to spend the time that we wanted at each place. All of the architecture is stunning and the people that we encountered were very pleasant as well. If you are in the Pacific North West you should definitely try to see Victoria.
The pace was excellent and the narration easy to follow. The app was very handy. Such a lovely way to get to know Victoria. Highly recommend!
The historical commentary at the Anti-woman Tobacconist Shop, Fan Tan Alley, the government building architect and the Harbor view area.
Difficult to get it started. After about an hour I was frustrated so didn’t bother. Later in the day, I tried again and it finally came to a place where I could put the code emailed to me- then it came on. But by then we only saw parts of it. It needs to have an easier start of the app, and more user friendly in the beginning.
The app kept replaying the info several times. It was frustrating as we had to stop and try to rewind it restart the voice tour
It is an informative and easy to use guided tour. We will use it in our future travels. We recommend it to anyone that lis ooking to know details about the history of Victoria
I would suggest everyone visiting Victoria purchases this superb self-guided tour. Without it, we would have missed so many interesting places. It's a leisurely walk, with good history knowledge and some fun facts too. Thank you! We will be recommending this to all of our friends who visit.
Great narration and I've learnt a lot about Victoria. The app is good too, not many issues. The content and the tour was just the right length. I recommend it for night also.
Loved the flexibility of this tour! We wandered around at our own pace, starting and stopping the audio as needed. Downtown Victoria was absolutely beautiful and the audio tour was fascinating and informative. It was exactly the right length in terms of time and distance and gave us a perfect overview of the area.
