My wife and I had a day after our cruise to spend in Vancouver. They were flexible with the start time based on when we got off the ship and then Ricky picked us up in a Cadillac Escalade and took us around in style. He explained that city as we drove and took us through the city. All in all it was a great way to experience the city. I recommend the tour to anyone.

Great way when to see Vancouver with limited time. Our driver picked us up on time and took us all around the city. He modified the schedule to fit our “likes”. He was patient and kind when we took longer than expected at one stop. He gave us the freedom to walk around each stop so we could explore. Keep in mind that this is a private driver just for you! We feel it was well worth the price when you take into account that the driver is very familiar with the city, will park and be accessible as needed when you explore the sites. We enjoyed this service so much that we hired them to drive us to the airport the next day.
We only had one day to see Vancouver and this tour was a great way to spend our time. Our group of 7 was picked up at the airport in a van that easily accommodated us and lots of luggage. What a convenience to be able to keep our luggage with us until hotel check-in. The planned stops were fun and interesting for a group with varied ages. We did not feel rushed and saw a lot in 6 hours. Ricky was a great guide, friendly and knowledgeable of the city. We especially enjoyed lunch in the market - so many choices of great food and pastries. Overall, we could not have found a better option for our one day in this amazing city.
Highly recommended city tour of Vancouver. Driver was very professional and courteous. Was always on time with pick ups and drop offs. Vehicle was very clean and comfortable. Family enjoyed the wonderful hospitality and travel services provided. Will do this tour again.
Our family of 5 adults had a great time w Tour Guide Ricky. We just got off the Royal Carribbean Cruise from Alaska and it was a terrific tour to extend our trip. Guide was prompt and knew exactly where to pick us up from at the dock. Canopy walk was excellent, gondola ride was also excellent as well as the market.
Can customize on a personnel preference which was nice. Love the sites on the tour but was a little pricey since tickets to a couple attractions were not included.
This was a great tour after our cruise! Was saw so much of the city and everything we wanted to do.. we added an extra hour so we could get to the airport at 4pm. Our guide was so informative and accommodating! Would recommend 100 percent!
Excellent tour, saw everything on the list and more. The guide was very accommodating and suggested stopping at the port for local food before our return to the ship. Diverse areas and worthwhile stops were shown and we were given time and information throughout to appreciate this stop. Well worth using this service
We did this private tour in Vancouver and had a great experience. Ricky was great and very knowledgeable. We saw all the major attractions of Vancouver. Ricky took us to Gas town at perfect time to steam clock when it was time for all the bells and whistles. Stanley park was amazing. Every thing from booking was smooth. The Vehicle was a brand new Cadillac SUV, perfect for 4 of us. We recommend this Company if you are looking for quality private tour in Vancouver.
This was a phenomenal experience from inception. I spoke with Ricky and he was quick to accommodate all of my requests including car size and ensuring that he was our guide based on others reviews. He texted confirmations and arrival ...upon which he suggested we bring umbrellas just in case. For which we got lucky and not a drop of rainfall. As he drove he shared his vast knowledge of sights and fielded our many American questions. We enjoyed a visit to Stanley park and were introduced to the beautiful totem poles. The highlight of the trip was the one thing I had no intension of doing visiting the Capano Suspension Bridge as I have an intense fear of heights. This experience turned out to be spectacular ...the beauty of the forest and the personal accomplishment of crossing the bridge...not to mention to variety of birds of prey that we were introduced to. Our next stop was Granville island where we enjoyed a sumptuous lunch at a restaurant Ricky suggested and finally some shopping in the gas light district. The experience was beyond expectations !
Overall tour of Vancouver was what we asked for and received. Thank you. This is very annoying and I am done.
I was thrilled with our poorly planned Vancouver trip and they helped us get organized and they have good connections which helped us with some of our business as well
Ricky was a great guide. He picked us up at the port and dropped us off at the airport, which was exactly what we needed. He was very friendly, informative and interesting. We were able to see quite a range of areas in the city and learn about life in vancouver. His vehicle was spotless and was a pleasure to ride in. I would highly recommend Ricky.
We had an amazing tour! Ricky was an excellent driver and guide. The day couldn’t have been any better! We highly recommend this tour if you have a day to spend in Vancouver!
The memory was of a tour guide who provided little if any information or history of the area. Lots of traffic. Not great.
Suspension bridge and farmers market down by the water were beautiful. I would recommend if you are doing this you research exactly what you want to see. They were more than willing to accommodate our suggestions but it was the last day of a long trip and we were worn out and I failed to do this.
Our guide Ricky was fantastic! Tailored our tour to fit our interests and the limited mobility of 2 members of our party. Kind, patient and very knowledgeable. Worth every penny!
Mix up over start time, we said 10am he was here at 9am. Great tour! He adjusted the tour to meet our desires. Tried to please and succeeded.
Mr Joy was a WONDERFUL tour guide. We visited all areas of Vancouver & especially loved Grous Mountain where we rode the gondola to the top of the mountain where it was a winter wonderland & to top it off the two grizzly bears had emerged from hibernation & were quite active. Also went to the suspension bridge park & it is lovely . Loved walking over the bridge. As a plus the food was really good here. Went to a botanical garden & to Queen Elizabeth park where we had great city views & loved the Conservatory there. Mr Joy was entertaining & a great ambassador for Vancouver. He took us to the city highlights & let us choose where we wanted to spend time. For the finale he dropped us at our hotel door. If we come back I would definitely schedule a tour with him.
Joy was wonderful. We could not do much walking and requested senes that were none walking. Our first was a Starbucks stop then beautiful spots that were camera ready. Joy honored our request and made the 6hrs most enjoyable.
We recently took a mesmerizing tour of Vancouver, guided by the ever-knowledgeable Ricky. Every step of the journey was thoughtfully planned to cater to our interests and was flawlessly executed. Ricky timed our visit to the Vancouver Lookout perfectly, allowing us to witness the city glowing during the golden hour. The effortless entry past the bustling crowds at the Vancouver Aquarium and Science World was truly commendable, providing us ample time to immerse in the marine wonders and interactive exhibits. The gastronomic journey at the Public Market on Granville Island was a delightful surprise, and strolling along the vibrant False Creek was an absolute treat. Being hockey aficionados, the sight of Rogers Arena, home to the Canucks, was like a dream come true. The tranquility of Queen Elizabeth Park, with its Quarry Garden and the Bloedel Conservatory, contrasted beautifully with the urban landscape. A big shout-out to VanLimo and Ricky for crafting such an unforgettable day in Vancouver. If you ever find yourself in this coastal gem and wish to capture its essence seamlessly, this tour comes highly recommended. Here's to unforgettable escapades and unparalleled hospitality!
We had great time in Vancouver with our Ricky. It was a very well tailored city tour and executed exceptional well. We saw all the famous attractions of Vancouver and reaching at steam clock in Gas town when the hour is finished and it makes all the whistles and music was very thoughtful by Ricky. Bypassing all the lines ups at Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse was also very helpful and time saving and made us feel special. Food at Granville island was exceptionally delicious. BC Place, Rogers Arena, English Bay and China town were also very beautiful and being a NHL fan it was really nice to see the Canucks Arena. Stanley park was amazing. Totem Poles and city view were milestones of the park. Thank you Vanlimos and Ricky for great time in Vancouver. We highly recommend this city tour if you are in Vancouver and wants to have spend some quality time and see major attractions of Vancouver.
Rickey our driver gave us an excellent tour that included all the highlights of Vancouver. We didn’t feel rushed or bored at any time. We especially enjoyed spending time (and lunch) at Granville market. He moved us to the front of the ticket lines at a couple of the tourist destinations so we did not have to waste our time standing in long lines.
Definitely worth it, saw everything we wanted to in Vancouver before our flight. No fighting with lines or waiting around.
This is a very professional service that money can buy in addition to showing us the best stuff in Vancouver they are well connected and were able to connect us with certain business’s in the city which helped our business
This is the best experience we had visiting Vancouver and touring all the places of interest we had gone to Granville Island, Capilano Suspension Bridge, and Downtown Stanley Park, the driver is very professional and also took us to the nicest Chinese restaurant which we asked for I would certainly recommend this company if you are looking for a really good experience these guys know vancouver really well.
Ricky was very accomodating when we were forced to be very late by our cruise coming into port well behind schedule. He provided guidance, purchased tickets for us in advance to avoid lines, rearranged itinerary to get us the priority experiences, and kept us on track with good communication.
Great introduction to Vancouver for those who have never been here. Our guide Joy was very knowledgeable and so nice. He took many pictures of us, knew all the best spots for photos and was very accommodating to our needs. We would highly recommend him and this tour. Very comfortable car and great dinner recommendation also!
"After changing your pick uptime twice. Upgrading you to a platinum SUV Dropping you at the Airport without any extra cost. You are giving us 2 star review ??" Above is the content of a WhatsApp message received at 01.15am (UK time) from Ricky. There are always two sides to a story - let me give mine. I booked this tour a couple of months' earlier to see something of Vancouver after disembarking a cruise before boarding our flight to the UK. The pickup time was originally 10.30am and I contacted the tour operator a week before to request a change to 10.00am; Ricky replied to confirm and provided contact information and instructions for our arrival at Canada Place cruise terminal. We disembarked the ship much earlier than anticipated (9.10am) and following the instructions provided in Ricky’s WhatsApp asked the cruise terminal dispatcher to let Ricky know we'd arrived. Ricky confirmed to the dispatcher that the driver would arrive as soon as possible - we didn't ask for that and had said that we were early. The dispatcher directed us to some nearby seats to wait - which was fine. Ricky arrived in an SUV (a really nice vehicle) at approx. 9.57 and on loading our two check-in, two carry-on bags and a small holdall said "that wouldn't have all fit in a saloon". Our bags do fit in a saloon everywhere else we've been. So, I changed the pickup time only once and that was a week ahead of the tour and three days before the payment was due. My husband asked to sit in the front as he likes to take lots of photographs. We were taken for a ride through Chinatown, Gastown, the car briefly slowed down to allow photos of the steam clock and on to Stanley Park where we had some time to stretch our legs and take photos of the totem poles. It became clear that the customisable tour really needed to include either Capilano Suspension Bridge or Grouse Mountain. My husband does not like heights so neither of these were ideal. In the end we agreed to go to Capilano as Ricky noted they had installed a 'cliff walk' since our last visit to Vancouver. We had around an hour there. From Capilano we were taken on a route passing the Olympic torch, Girl in a wetsuit, English beach, the laughing buddas and ultimately to Granville Island which we were told was 'the last stop on the tour' and we could explore for a couple of hours. We could easily have taken less time here - we had lunch and stroll but were done within an hour and then waited/wasted time until Ricky returned to pick us up. We were then taken directly to the airport (our agreed drop off point) where we arrived at 5.15pm. Having done a little research since we got back and given we didn't really want to do either Grouse Mountain or Capilano (heights are a real issue for my husband), it is disappointing that we weren't offered Queen Elizabeth Park or the Botanical Gardens as alternatives – but surely there are other things we could have seen on a more leisurely drive around Vancouver? I don’t know – it’s not my city and I’m not selling private tours. Ricky was a smooth driver but didn't offer to slow down or stop for photographs and, in reality, for our six hour private tour of Vancouver we were in the car for around 2¼ hours being dropped at the airport with 45 minutes remaining of the six hours. I would have let all of this go except for Ricky's subsequent harassment (a missed WhatsApp call at 7pm (UK time) yesterday evening followed up with his WhatsApp message at 1.15am this morning complaining about the review my husband had posted on TripAdvisor. Apologies for my jet-lagged, sleep deprived grouchiness.
Ricky was very helpful in every way, communicative, and pleasant. He taught us a lot about Vancouver. We had a perfect day. Thanks Ricky! My only regret is I forgot to take your picture with your nice car.
This turned out to be a long, expensive journey to the airport with three stops on the way, in a nice vehicle. We were told we could do Capilano or Grouse mountain and had to choose. We stopped at Stanely Park, Capilano and Granville island. All great places for sure but in-between we drove passed many sights with barely a nod, a slow down or perhaps a quick photo shoot. We passed things like the Olympic cauldron, the laughing Buddhas, the steam clock, the Inukshuk, the girl in a wetsuit, and many other statues and monuments without a pause or frequently a comment. It didn’t feel like someone who wanted to show/share their city with someone. I don’t think there was any real time pressure, we were “given” two hours on Granville island to see that and have lunch which we could have done in less time, and we could easily have reduced the time at the other two stops to see a bit more of the other attractions/sights. The driver was friendly enough and I guess a drive though the city was in the title of the tour but I felt we hadn’t really seen much of it by the time we got to the airport after 5.25 hours not 6. We could have used the 45 minutes having nine five minute stops at some other sights. A number of the sights mentioned in the “What to expect” section, such as Queen Elizabeth Park, Maple Street Square, Capilano Fish Hatchery, the worlds thinnest building, ”all for your senses to feast on”? Barely had time to take a photo of anything as we went through China town. Very poor value
Comfortable seating for all 9 of us. Prompt hotel pick up and drop off. Knowledgeable driver/guide, Graham. Plenty time to explore all the stops and time for lunch. Room for improvement is if there is microphone and speakers installed so all passengers can hear.
Graham our driver was excellent. He took us around Vancouver sharing with us all the history of the area. He was personable, friendly, conscious of our time , he gave great recommendations of where to eat and shop. He was a great tour guide. Ricky the manager ensured everything was set up and ready to go. He called me the day before to make sure nothing had changed on our end. He made sure I had the name and number of the driver so there would be problems with the pick up. I highly recommend this company.
Our group of 6 had a great day with our driver Ricky. He was a great driver and the vehicle was comfortable and well appointed. Ricky was knowledgeable about the city and engaging. We were able to visit many of the must see locations including Stanley Park, Lions Gate Bridge, and the suspension Bridge. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and hit all the highlights of Vancouver. The vehicle was very comfortable, and the whole experience was very professional and we felt like VIP's. The _only_ thing missing was a mic for our driver. Because of some of the covid protections, road noise, and A/C and other ambient noise (normal stuff) it could be hard to hear some of the things that were being pointed out, mostly for those in the back. It wasn't a huge deal, but my only suggestion to an otherwise wonderful excursion. Extra helpful that we were transferring from a cruise ship, with half the family going to a hotel and other other half to the airport. being able to have the bags with us, unobtrusively, was a HUGE bonus!
Our guide, Ricky, was great. He had a lot of information about Vancouver for us and customized our tour to suit us. We only had an afternoon to spend in Vancouver, but felt we had seen all the highlights. We were very satisfied with our experience. Ricky was patient and knowledgeable. He was very considerate of the pace and abilities we had. Couldn’t have asked for a better day or guide to see Vancouver. Highly recommend him!
Bit of a language barrier with the driver and we expected more of a tour guide than just a driver to the sights. Preet was very nice, though.
Our driver, Ricky, is a very smooth driver and quite knowledgeable regard Vancouver and surrounding areas. Took us to locations we were interested in seeing and suggested other great options.
We saw all the major sights in the comfort of a clean, spacious Lincoln. Our driver/guide was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodated our specific request. The day was expensive, but the convenience no parking hassles, no navigating city streets and no waiting for buses allowed us to see twice as much as we could have on our own with a minimum of research only us. The driver was knowledgeable, gracious, and friendly. The day could not have been better.
El tour con nuestro guia David fue genial, muy atento. En las 6h disponibles pudimos ver los principales puntos de interés y entre ellos, en el coche, nos ofreció explicaciones por dónde pasábamos.
