We only stayed here for one night, but the room was very nice with a lovely ocean view. The beds were comfortable. Even though we did not have a balcony, I loved that you could still open the large window to here the ocean. The location in great and the parking was easy.

Second time here. They have done a total room face-lift. Beautiful 👍 We had a dog friendly room with a nice view of the pier. Sidney is a lovely little town with all the amenities you need. We got great dining tips from the front desk. The walking path along the beach is so great!
Nice place. Room was very good. For the price though no pool or hot tubs. No in room water provided. No breakfast. Great location and views. The room was really good with a balcony that is by the way no private as clear glass between the other two units. We were in 205. We paid near $400 a night. Not worth it in my opinion sorry. Would I stay again? Yes but at a better price point.
The best hotel I’ve stayed at in a while. Nice room with a lovely balcony; Nespresso coffee with real creamers in the fridge. Gym was excellent and there are male and female steam rooms. The only downsides were the mattress, which wasn’t level, but still could have been worse in terms of comfort; and the fact there were no towels for using the steam room. You needed to bring your own from the room.
I can’t say enough positive things about my recent stay at the Sidney Pier Hotel & Spa. We visited during one of their busiest weekends with the BC Boat Show happening just steps away, and despite how busy it was, the service was absolutely exceptional. The rooms themselves were modern, spotless, and incredibly comfortable with stunning ocean views. The location is also perfectly central and within easy walking distance to great restaurants, shops, and local markets. Christina and Jenny at the front desk were consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. After long days at the show, we actually looked forward to coming back to the hotel and chatting with them. They took the time to get to know us while still making every guest feel like a valued, longtime friend, it really stood out. I was also a bit anxious traveling with my nervous, reactive dog, but Christina’s love for animals immediately put both me and my pup at ease. She made us feel completely welcome, and she and Ed truly went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. Thanks to their kindness, my partner and I were even able to enjoy a relaxing dinner out while knowing our dog was safe and cared for. We originally booked two nights, but we enjoyed our stay so much that we asked on a whim if there were any last-minute cancellations. Luckily, there was one more night available, and we were thrilled to extend our stay. This hotel goes beyond just providing a place to stay it creates an experience. We’ll absolutely be back!
