One of, if not the best all around resort and family friendly waterfront resort in the Okanagan. The pools are fantastic, the waterslide is absolutely awesome for kids. The restaurant is very good also. The beach is good, not amazing but most on Okanagan Lake are similar. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the service was outstanding throughout our stay. Easy to park underground and the location is great. The downsides why I cannot rate The Cove 5 stars is the small things that need some attention. The couple that standout were the cleanliness of the BBQs, they look like they’ve never been cleaned and also there was only a super old grill brush to use to clean it. And the other was the disarray nature of the putting green and the hotel grounds in general were a bit rough. I totally understand West Kelowna is on a water restriction; there was just many areas that need some attention and the putting green needs new holes and flags. I would think these small negatives come not from the hotel standpoint but the strata point of view and their representation and responsibility maintaining the resort/complex, and I think it’s tough that the hotel probably takes a brunt of the negatives when it’s very possibly out of their control. Overall the The Cove is fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay! Awesome pools and rooms.

EDIT: I wanted to add a few more details to my review. This was our family’s second trip to the Cove this year, and after spending four very enjoyable days there, I felt they deserved a more complete review. The entire staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were able to accommodate a slightly early check-in and a later check-out, which allowed our family to make the most of the pool facilities on both arrival and departure days. At checkout, when our car battery died, maintenance quickly came to give us a boost and were extremely helpful. The rooms were exceptionally clean. We requested a pet-free room due to allergies, and it was spotless. The pool facilities were a huge hit with our kids. The only feedback I would offer is that the larger pool was mostly unused, as the water temperature was noticeably cooler than the waterslide pool. It’s a beautiful pool, so it’s a bit of a shame it wasn’t more comfortable for swimming.
We had a wonderful stay at The Cove Lakeside Resort and were very impressed with the overall experience. The resort has a truly luxurious setup, and our suite was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the robes provided in the room, which added an extra touch of comfort. From the in-room amenities to the outdoor pool, everything was well maintained and enjoyable. We also appreciated having our own washer and dryer in the suite, which made our stay even more convenient. One of our favorite features was that every suite has its own balcony, allowing us to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We also loved the walking pathways along the waterfront, which made it easy to take a peaceful stroll and appreciate the scenery. The fully functional and well-equipped kitchen was another highlight. It had everything we needed, making our stay even more convenient. The view from the resort was absolutely beautiful and one of the best parts of our visit. The front desk staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and exceptionally friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Overall, we truly enjoyed and loved our stay. We are already planning to come back and stay here again in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I booked two 2-bedroom lake-view suites for our family long weekend (6 adults and 3 kids), and we had a wonderful stay. Check-in was a breeze, and both suites were ready well before the 5:00 p.m. check-in time. The front desk staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit. The suites were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The only addition I would suggest is a full-length mirror. The grounds are beautifully maintained and kept in pristine condition. The weather was perfect for spending time at the pool, so we didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant, spa, or pickleball court. We’ll just have to come back and experience those on our next visit!
I had read mixed reviews about this property so I wasn’t sure what to expect. We stayed 3 nights and absolutely loved our stay. We had a fabulous suite with a beautiful peek-a-boo view of the lake and very private balcony. The suite was immaculate and the kitchen had everything you could want, although you still need to bring salt/pepper/olive oil. The pool was lovely. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The Landing restaurant was excellent; we had the fish & chips, seafood pasta, and peppercorn steak. Great service and they even had a GF pasta available for our son. Lastly, the location is great. This is our first trip to Okanagan and we were nervous about not being in Kelowna. Boy we are thrilled with our choice. We did taxi in to Kelowna one evening to check it out and have dinner, and we’re glad we did, but we much preferred the chill, relaxed, un-crowded aspect of this location with regards to the beach and dock, also accessibility to wineries.
