Star Of The Sea Guest House

We had an amazing stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience! The guest house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is fantastic, and the views from the balcony are absolutely stunning. The peaceful atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. Our whole family loved it, and we will definitely be coming back. We highly recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and memorable place to stay. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

Fantastic location, quiet and short walk from beach/white rock pier. Owners are very friendly. I forgot one of my AirPods and they were amazing to ship it back to me.

The room was super noisy. You hear every neighbor’s conversation, and the street was always buzzing, so we never got any sleep. Parking is just on the street, no private spots at all. They didn’t even offer breakfast, which you’d expect at a B&B. The only thing that was good is the location. right near the pier and beach with a nice view. Everything else just didn’t work.

Purely for location and room size, there is good value here. Where it loses points for me is in the details. The floors, along the baseboards in the bathroom, looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages, paint scraped from door moldings, missing hardware on Venetian blinds, inadequate supplies for coffee (1 packet of sugar, then only Stevia), no instructions for coffee maker, no instructions for tv/cable. I'm resourceful, so I figured it out, but I'm not sure other, older persons would be as inclined. On the positive side: Rooms are spacious and bright with loads of windows. It has its own living room area. AC unit in the bedroom, a ceiling fan in the living room. Linens smelled clean and fresh, towels were plush. Bed was comfortable. No balcony in my room, my relatives had one in theirs, next door (photo included).
