Service levels here are impeccable as are the cleanliness of the rooms. The best part of my couple weeks here have been far and away the room service of a waiter by the name of Alan. So professional, polite and his whole demeanour has been excellent. Goes the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need for your meals. Not sure if he works for the hotel or the restaurant but he does an amazing job and the in room dining food has been amazing as well…well done and thank you Alan

This was my second stay at this Sheraton hotel, and once again, I had a wonderful experience. I would especially like to recognize Guest Services Manager Marjorie for her exceptional professionalism and outstanding customer service. She was attentive, responsive, and genuinely cared about ensuring that all of my needs were taken care of. Her efficiency, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond made my stay smooth and enjoyable. Marjorie truly represents the high standards of Sheraton and made me feel valued as a guest. Her dedication and genuine care made this stay even more memorable. Thank you, Marjorie, for making my experience so enjoyable. I look forward to staying here again in the future and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
Super convenient to the airport, but honestly it was so loud, I didn’t get a good night’s sleep. I think I would rather stay further away than to sleep poorly due to the constant plane noises. Other than that, the rooms are a bit dated. Clean and spacious though. Video is of a Junior Suite. As a Platinum Marriott member, I got 2 food & bev vouchers for the restaurant downstairs. Food was generally good! Sad to see the offerings in the Club Lounge was limited though. Only bottled water and snacks in a plastic cup. At one point I was small bags of chips, but those go fast. Coffee machine is pretty cool looking but I couldn’t figure out how to use it lol Overall, would not stay again due to airplane noises.
It was just getting dark, the cats and dogs were falling harder as time passed. I opted to ride my scooter from Burrard to Richmond, for whatever reason I'm still unsure. After a couple of inquiries and missed turns, I found it. First thought upon entry " What a beautiful hotel. Quiet, and clean" The woman at the desk was clean, crisp and professional in attire only. If you want to feel like your trespassing or your not worthy to enter that hotel, here's the lady to talk to. 5 stars down to 4 stars for her upfront snotty customer service,.working at the desk shouldn't be her assignment. Maybe laundry, I don't know, I just know that given the circumstances, she wasn't at all helpful. I went there to give my cousin his life saving insulin and she told me numerous times that there was no such person in that room. 4 stars down to 3 So I described him to her and she still maintained that there was no person matching that description. So I ended up sitting outside under their awning until the security guard who originally allowed me to sit there while I tried to get my "deaf" cousins attention because it was now after 12a.m and he was either asleep or in diabetic shock. This was still not enough for them to go and knock on the door to see if everything's alright. 3 stars down to 2.They said they did, and that someone who was not my cousin nor fit his description was in that room. Only a single occupancy with brown hair. My cousin is an indigenous man with salt and pepper hair, deaf, diabetic, and proudly wears a saskatchewan rough riders well...everything. He was driven to that hotel when his flight was delayed not even two hours before I got there, but they did not remember him???!? Now it's 2 in the morning and I'm standing under the awning at the hospital getting soaked while I charge my phone because it died while dodging a local that I bumped into who had cops circling around him and probably assuming I am part of what ever was going on, Like I'm criminal. Finally my cousin answers. And I go meet him at the lobby of that hotel. Do you know what really did it for me? The stupid smirk on her face and "grandiose no effort to an apology" like she was trying to win what? Superiority? Lady you work front desk at a hotel, one step up from laundry. 5 stars down to zero.
Update: manager reached out and graciously helped with options. I haven’t stayed here, but I would consider it again! Thank you, sir! I haven’t stayed here yet, but I’m already frustrated. We chose this hotel because the web page said they had a package with extended parking. We called after making the reservation, and it’s not available. While making the reservation, I swear it said we had until June 20 something to cancel. I was being careful to look at that because I wanted that option. When I logged in to cancel, it said I couldn’t cancel past March 27. Our stay is not until June 24. It said there was a cancellation fee, so we called to see how much that was to be informed it would $550. If I log in to make a reservation, it says it’s around $300. It would cost more to cancel than it would be to book a room there. We are gold elite bonvoy members (I know fairly low level). We had another Marriott reservation coming up, which I have now cancelled. We’ll do something different. I’m cancelling our card after this stay. I’ll screenshot my way through future reservation making. I’m glad this stay is with a free night certificate and points. I am attaching a screen shot of what it looks like if I tried to book now because unfortunately I didn’t realize I should have done that when I made my reservation. Check your account if you have concern you’ll need to cancel that the date is what you’re expecting… Lesson learned. We’re going to go since it’s more to cancel than just go stay.
