Sandman Signature Vancouver Airport Hotel & Resort

This hotel is adamant on 3pm check-in time. We arrived 5 mins before and got turned away saying it's not ready Fairly dated hotel, design and furniture are very old schooled, pretty beat up, carpets are dirty. Didn't expect much. Located right beside Chop Restaurant, Starbucks next to the lobby, and Dimsum Caddy India golf and restaurant. Has several different towers, lots of vacancies. Swimming pool with nostalgic water slides. Checks in quite quickly, especially if it's paid before hand. Takes $50 as security deposit. Got it back quickly after checked-out. Balcony door does not lock. Assigned right beside elevator even when asked not to. Quite noisy with people traffic. Pillows were extremely flat and uncomfortable. Despite having "firm" and "soft" on pillow cases, neither made any difference. AC/heater is very loud when running, shakes and vibrates. Surprised it hasn't fallen off the wall or coughing out dust for how old and overworked it is. Temperature control over night is not consistent. Rooms have connecting doors in between, only separated by a door in between. Next door was very noisy, late night check in past 12am, starts hearing noises which impacted us. Comes with safe, microwave, fridge, iron, ironing board, robes, desk with office chair, coffee machine with coffee and tea, etc.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay, thanks to Cedrick! He was very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help us. He even offered us a better room, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. His kindness and excellent customer service made our stay even more enjoyable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful experience at Sandman Signature Vancouver Airport Hotel & Resort. The hospitality was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. A special mention to "Molina" at the front desk for her professionalism, polite communication, and warm approach. She made the experience feel smooth and pleasant through her helpful attitude and attention to detail. It’s always great to meet staff members who genuinely care about making guests feel welcome. Excellent service and a great impression overall. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Signature Hotel, and Kartavya (Kay) made our experience even better. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and was always happy to help with any questions we had.
