I stayed here for 2 nights before an Alaskan cruise and also spent some time exploring Vancouver. Our suite was spacious with a separate bedroom, and it was very quiet and comfortable. The large bathtub was perfect for relaxing after a long day, and I also enjoyed trying the new Dyson hair dryer. We had access to the Executive Lounge and enjoyed breakfast and snacks there. The soda selection was great, and I especially liked that the lounge stayed open in the evening. The hotel was also conveniently located near the cruise terminal, just a short taxi ride away. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

JW Parq is a terrific choice while in Vancouver. Modern, neat and attached the Parq Casino. The Victor is a nice steakhouse on the 6th Floor and Honey Salt on the main lobby level has a great bar and good food too. Has a Spa, Fitness Center, and rooftop area. The Executive Level is large and they put out a nice breakfast buffet. Also has a Starbucks on the main level near the entrance...
This is not a 5-star hotel quite frankly. It’s a 3 star with a casino on site. Not at all worth the $800/night I paid. Got put in an adjoining room (I don’t want an insecure door between me and a stranger) so I got to hear children running and screaming til 11pm - despite being eligible for 2 upgrades (hotel status and booked thru FHR) I got downgraded to the WORST POSSIBLE ROOM and a terrible sleep. Service wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t good in the sense that no personal ownership to fix anything. Definitely not what you expect given 5 stars rating and price. Called to complain about noise “we’ll investigate” yea sure you will, but they kept screaming for another 30 mins. Bathroom are nice, but no bathtub and the handles are literally falling off the wall when you touch them. Also don’t appreciate being nickel and dimed with charges like $5 “delivery fee” for room service of $6.50 ATM fee when you’re charging $800/night and $34 for 2 pancakes already. If I wanted to pay a delivery fee and be kept up by neighbours yelling all night I could have just stayed home and ordered Door Dash. Overall I am leaving feeling very ripped off and definitely would not return to this hotel or recommend it. I will also think twice about booking Marriott properties in the future as this is the second time I have been let down by their claims of “5 stars” (Milan in ‘24) only to leave feeling cheated and ripped off. Update: Andres at concierge on the way out did apologize for the room issues and actually intelligently listened and understood and empathized rather than just spouting useless platitudes. If I do come back, it will be because of that.
Had a great experience here. Stayed one night for an anniversary celebration. It's a beautiful and bright hotel, and staff was particularly welcoming and nice. We got upgraded to a corner room and the manager sent up a complimentary bottle of bubbles. Location is right next to the stadium, on top of the casino if you're into that. Not worth the $1,000/night they were asking but on points it was decent value.
I stayed here during the FIFA World Cup and I was blown away that such a beautiful hotel exists in downtown Vancouver. The front desk staff are very polite and accommodating. The room was beautiful and immaculate. Stunning views of the water and Science World. The bathroom shower has marble and was so relaxing to shower in, the shower gel smelled so good! We were only here for 1 night but we wish we stayed longer. I forgot to buy some of their shower gel on my way out... it smelled that good, will definitely stay here again, it is the BEST hotel in all of the Lower Mainland.
