Hotel Blu Vancouver

5/5 – Exceptional service from Nathan! We had such a great stay at Hotel Blue! A huge shoutout to Nathan for making our experience so memorable. He truly goes above and beyond in everything he does, super friendly, incredibly helpful, and always ready to lend a hand with a smile. It’s rare to come across customer service this genuine and attentive. Thanks so much, Nathan, for taking such great care of us during our time in Vancouver! We’ll definitely be back.

We stayed at Hotel BLU for 4 days and 3 nights, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—they even allowed us to check in 4 hours early, which was a huge bonus! The room was spotless, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi and sauna, and the chilled towels in the gym were such a thoughtful touch. The coffee was also delicious and aromatic! The location couldn't be better. Everything on the island is within walking distance, and there’s a great variety of international restaurants right downstairs. Highly recommended—we would definitely stay here again!

My partner and I stayed here for one night for our monthly staycation. I chose this hotel specifically for its included parking, location downtown, and pool/hot tub. The front desk staff was friendly and check in was very easy. Parking and getting to our room was equally very easy. It was a nice surprise that our room was upgraded upon arrival from a city view to a king loft. We stayed on the second floor which was perfect because we had easy access to the pool and hot tub. There were a few other couples using the pool but it didn’t feel crowded. It would be nice if they extended the pool hours but not a deal breaker. The room was very clean. I appreciated the variety of lighting as I prefer dim lighting in the evening. The bed wasn’t the best and was very hard for a side sleeper. Trying to figure out how to switch the water from bath to shower was oddly difficult but gave me and my partner a good chuckle. We accidentally showed up to the breakfast lounge late but the staff were very accommodating and allowed me and my partner to get a fresh cup of coffee which was very kind. We will absolutely stay here agin.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel BLU. The hotel had a great atmosphere, and the room was comfortable and well equipped, with excellent heating and air conditioning and a clean, modern bathroom. All the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. Special thanks to Shayan and the rest of the front desk team for making check-in easy and being very helpful throughout my stay. I also really enjoyed the complimentary bicycles. Overall, this felt like a true four-star hotel at a reasonable price. A few improvements would make it even better: allowing alternatives to presenting a physical credit card at check-in, offering a more varied and creative breakfast menu, and installing better soundproof room doors.
