Fairmont Chateau Whistler

I’ve stayed at the Fairmont Château Whistler many times over the years, and it’s always a place I look forward to returning to. This visit, while attending a tech conference, has been especially lovely thanks to some genuinely thoughtful touches from the staff. From the moment I arrived, the valet and welcome team were warm and friendly. When I realized my room didn’t have a bathtub (something I really enjoy after a long day), I asked the front desk if a room change might be possible. They were so kind and accommodating, and had it sorted out immediately. One of my favourite parts of staying here is being able to head straight out the front doors for a beautiful run. I enjoyed a long route out to Lost Lake and along the Valley Trails before making my way back to the hotel. After all those kilometres, I returned to my room to find a little surprise waiting for me: bath bombs to help soak away my tired muscles. Such a thoughtful gesture, and one that genuinely made my day! Then today, another unexpected treat appeared in my room — a lovely plate of bonbons. I’m starting to feel rather spoiled! The service throughout the conference has been impeccable, as has the room service. What stands out most, though, is how friendly and attentive everyone has been. Nothing feels like too much trouble, and the little personal touches make such a difference. It’s lovely when a place you’ve returned to so many times still finds ways to surprise you.

We spent four wonderful nights here celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, and the entire team helped make it a trip to remember. We felt genuinely welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. A special shout-out to Lewis, Louis, and Moe at the bar, who were all friendly and fantastic, and to Patricia in housekeeping for taking such great care of us. And Emilie at breakfast deserves an extra-special mention. Her warmth and kindness gave each morning a wonderful start, and seeing her became one of the highlights of our stay. Thank you to everyone for making our anniversary so memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate!

We had the most amazing time at this hotel. It’s by far our favourite Fairmount hotel. We visited over Thanksgiving so it was busy but not super busy. When I say every request we made was met and in record time. The customer service from all staff was first class. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well. We also loved seeing all the dogs :) and appreciated the very responsive shuttle.

This was our second family stay at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, and once again, the experience was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is truly exceptional, with every detail thoughtfully considered. From the beautiful property and outstanding facilities to the warm, professional, and attentive service, everything reflects the highest standards of hospitality. The location is simply breathtaking, surrounded by the incredible scenery of Whistler and offering the perfect combination of relaxation, nature, and activities. We especially recommend visiting even outside the peak ski season. There is so much to see and do in Whistler for both adults and children, making it a fantastic destination for a family getaway at any time of year. We had an amazing experience and will definitely be happy to return again. Highly recommended!
