We just had an incredible stay at the Exchange Hotel on the Dividend Floor. Our suite was beautiful and had everything we needed, and then some. The heated bathroom floors were such a nice touch and our little patio was perfect for a morning coffee in the sun! Other reviewers have mentioned it but the service at this hotel was really top notch. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and so so helpful. The lounge on the Dividend Floor was also a true highlight. We really enjoyed all the wine, snacks and beverages throughout our whole stay. The greek yogurt parfaits were exactly what we needed in the morning. We're already looking at dates to come back! Can't wait.

Top notch place. Came off of a cruise to a beautiful hotel. They greated us at the rotating door and assisted us with our luggage to check in. We were early for a room but they held our luggage. We were able to enjoy the day. The room is sort of small but manageable. No closet but a place to hang clothes. Floor in bathroom is heated! No microwave but coffee maker in the room. The staff is very accommodating even when you are leaving. Randy was helpful every day of our stay as were the other concierge on duty. Highly, highly recommend. Within walking distance of cruise port.
The room was not clean when we arrived. There was a random brown bag left behind by previous guests, and there was hair in the bathroom, which was very disappointing. I also became quite sick before our trip and wanted to cancel my reservation. The booking included free cancellation, so I called the hotel one day before my reservation. I was told the booking team wouldn’t be available until 11:00 a.m. the next day. When I called back at that time, I was told it was now too late to cancel. That made no sense since I had contacted them within the cancellation period, but their booking team was unavailable. The customer service over the phone was also disappointing. The representative was unfriendly and kept repeating the same scripted response over and over. It felt like I was talking to AI rather than a real person who was willing to help. The location is the hotel’s biggest strength. There are plenty of great coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the waterfront if you enjoy walking by the water. Overall, if location is your top priority, this hotel may work for you. However, if you value cleanliness and good customer service, I would recommend staying somewhere else.
I spent a weekend at the beginning of May at this hotel with a friend, and overall we had a fantastic experience. The location is incredible — just steps from Canada Place and the SkyTrain. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and fairly high-tech. Everything was very clean, and the hotel even smelled amazing throughout our stay. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and I especially appreciated the added sense of security in the building. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. There was also complimentary water in the room which was nice. My only minor criticism was the bathroom setup — I would have preferred a traditional bathroom door instead of a sliding door. We also couldn’t figure out whether there was a bathroom fan, as the shower created quite a bit of heat and steam in the space. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends and family. It’s an especially perfect location for anyone heading out on a cruise from Canada Place.
The stay at EXchange Hotel Vancouver exceeded my expectations. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. I was especially touched by how wonderful everyone was with my baby. I honestly wasn’t expecting such a child-friendly experience from a luxury hotel, but the staff went above and beyond, even giving her a stuffed teddy bear. The concierge would sing songs to her, and every interaction we had felt genuinely kind and personal. The room was beautiful, the beds were extremely comfortable, and I loved having the little wet bar area with a fridge. Even though our room was close to the elevator, it was surprisingly quiet. We didn’t hear any noise at all. The location is fantastic and within walking distance to so many things, plus there’s a lovely coffee shop right on the corner. Room service was also very quick and efficient. My only small note is that I wish there were a few more simple/basic options on the menu, though I understand the restaurant is geared toward a more upscale dining experience. Overall, such a lovely stay and we would absolutely return.
