We had an incredible stay at the hotel on our wedding day weekend! The rooms are amazing and extremely beautiful. Myself and wife had our own suites and they were perfect for the morning off getting ready. We'd like to give a HUGE thanks to the staff at Double Tree Hilton, especially Bilan at the front desk. Bilan made the experience so easy and was extremely helpful the entire time. He went out of his way to assist in the small things that were needed the morning off the wedding day! We truly appreciate everything and would recommend this hotel to other couples celebrating their big day!
Clean and comfortable. Large rooms. Got a good nights sleep. Customer service was wonderful. Location is great if you want to explore the wineries. I didn't use the pool but it looked lovely. Breakfast buffet was just ok, but nice strong coffee.
I do not recommend this hotel for families with kids, large groups, or sports teams.
Unfortunately, our experience with management overshadowed the stay. The manager was unwelcoming and unfriendly towards guests gathering in any of the hotel’s common areas, despite everyone being respectful. A courteous, respectful and HONEST conversation would have gone a long way and likely resulted in a much more positive review.
The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable, but there is virtually no soundproofing, making them surprisingly noisy.
If you’re travelling with children or as part of a group, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
The hotel was newly renovated and lovely as far as cleanliness and the restaurant in the hotel had amazing staff. As far as the hotel staff we were not impressed how they treated our soccer team. They told our 18 year old kids that they needed to be supervised in the pool and were unkind to them when they were respectful of every rule of the pool. They are paying guests also and should be treated as such. If you can’t respect all guests no matter their age you shouldn’t be part of a play and stay for tournaments. Due to the way they treated our children we would not recommend or return to this hotel in future.
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! You can tell it has been recently renovated! Everything felt fresh, modern, and clean . The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The highlight for our family was the unique pool patio. The kids absolutely loved being able to swim from inside to outside. We all sat at the end of the day outside by the fire and watched the hockey game. They even served us dinner and drinks out there. The room was spacious with very comfortable beds. We will definitely be back!
