I cannot praise this hotel enough. My daughter and I stayed there last year while we attended the Barnside Harvest Festival and so of course we booked it again for the festival this year. Staff are AMAZING. ALL OF THEM!! Sean at the front desk is awesome and the fact that he remembered us from last year was fun (last year was pretty epic for my daughter). Hotel is immaculate. Food at the restaurants is amazing. Pool is heated so my daughter loved swimming and soaking in the hot tub. Any questions we had about things to do in the area were answered by the front desk team and every single time they were so happy to help. Parking was a breeze. We rented a car this year and the hotel is central to everything so we toured all over and had the best time. We cannot wait to be back next summer for the festival!!! Thank you so every single staff member we encountered when we were there. I wish I got all your names so I could give you all shoutouts. Thank you so much for another memorable mom/daughter trip!! See you next year!!

First, let me say that this hotel is centrally located right across from the Top of Vancouver and close to Gastown and the ferry terminal. The rooms are adequate with all the standard amenities, including (and most importantly) a safe. It was clean and the staff were very nice although check-in wasn't staffed very well and took more time than expected. For a high end hotel, there wasn't a valet and the parking garage was across the alleyway and we were charged $52 a night to park. The biggest challenge (and it was a BIG one) was that we didn't feel safe outside the hotel. We heard sirens at least twice a night while we were there and we were on a very high floor. Vancouver has a huge homeless population that seems to go for many blocks on and around the hotel. We witnessed partially naked men and even watched a person shooting up on the sidewalk. The smell and filth is challenging even to the most liberal of us. The hotel has security so we felt safe in the hotel but even the staff said to be careful at night in the area. If you are staying for a night to catch a cruise ship this is perfect but for a vacation I would look elsewhere.
This has been an exceptional hotel stay. Staff, food, rooms - all excellent. I can't honestly say that there is anything I could ding them for. The staff in particular has been awesome. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and a very short walk to Gastown.
We arrived at 1:40 AM due to a long airport delay, but we were warmly greeted at the door. A gentleman opened the door, welcomed us in with freshly baked cookies, handed us our room keys, and provided a map of downtown Vancouver. He even upgraded us from a King size bed suite to a two Queen size beds suite without any extra charge, which we appreciated since check out was at 11:00 AM the same day. He even suggested we get a good night’s rest. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Canada Place and the Vancouver Convention Centre. The subway station is nearby, but we didn’t have time to use it due to our flight delay. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s well maintained and modern. The living room and desk are separate from the bedroom, which was a nice touch. There’s a friendly doorman who always opens the door for us and can help us with directions if needed. One security feature I appreciated was the use of a room key to access the elevator. It felt safe knowing we had to use our key to get to our room. At 1:40 AM, the area at the front of the hotel entrance was quiet and peaceful. We didn’t use the hotel’s parking, but we did take a taxi cab from the YVR airport to the hotel for $46 CDN flat rate plus tip. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return to this hotel if we visit Vancouver again. We were pleasantly surprised to find 4 complimentary sealed water bottles in the room. The gentlemen at the front desk mentioned it. This small detail really made a difference. Thank you Delta for making our short stay enjoyable and memorable. We didn’t realize we were next door to Fraser University.
We had a wonderful stay at Delta Vancouver Suites and would happily return. The hotel is ideally located in downtown Vancouver, making it easy to walk to the waterfront, restaurants, shops, and key attractions. It’s a great base for exploring the city. The suite itself was a highlight—spacious, well-designed, and comfortable, with a separate living area that made the stay feel more relaxed and practical, especially for a longer visit. The room was clean, quiet, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Service throughout the hotel was consistently excellent. Staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with directions, recommendations, or any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, the hotel offered a great balance of comfort, space, and convenience in a central location. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and would recommend Delta Vancouver Suites to anyone visiting Vancouver, especially those looking for extra space and a more suite-style experience in the city.
