Pleasant and safe trip. Very informal but extremely informative. Ben our guide was charismatic and extremely knowledgeable of the city and its history. Bikes were fine and helmets were supplied. Lovely this tour of the city.
Our family of 6 from Yeovil, joined another couple for the cycle tour of Bristol. After arriving slightly late, we found out we were on Bristol time!!. Our tour guide Mike, was very informative and good humoured throughout. Despite a few rain showers, he made it a pleasurable day out, seeing places we would never normally see. Would thoroughly recommend.
It was a really hot day and this was taken into account - the ride was nice and relaxed and at a good pace We saw lots of the city and our guide talked us through some of the history of the city. One of the highlights was the view of the bridge 👌🏻 Overall would highly recommend
Loved this tour. Everything about it was 5 star worthy or more. I am specially grateful to them for accommodating us at our request last minute. Saw so much of Bristol city center and the harbor area - the patience and the charm of our guide made it extra special. Her name starts with J and she is Greek. They even allow to go the markets for quick Look inside and the guide offered to take care of the bikes. All in all we enjoyed ourselves and went to areas which would have been missed otherwise.
I recommend this tour to everyone. Such an amazing way to learn about beautiful Bristol and its history!
Luke was an excellent guide with so much knowledge about and love for Bristol. We were taken to great spots, including street art (also Banksy‘s girl with the pearl earring), the famous suspension bridge and much more. Cycling was good fun and we were lead very professionally and safely through different parts of Bristol. I can highly recommend both: our guide and this tour!
The experience was really interesting and made more fun that you were on a bike. Mike, the guide, was knowledgeable and made it a really great expedience. Thank you
Ben was a great tour guide. I went on a different city walking tour earlier in the day before the bike tour with Ben, and there was a lot of overlap but I saw a lot more on the bike tour. If I had to choose again, I would definitely book this bike tour only. Highly recommend!
A really great way to get to experience the city. We learned loads about the culture and history of the place, and it really helped orient us to plan what to do with the rest of our stay.
Luke saved the day with a walk about in the rain instead of a cancellation. Very much appreciated as I was only in town for one day. (And he knew where to find cover from the rain!) His knowledge of the history of Bristol is amazing.
Terrific and fun way to see Bristol with a local. There are extensive bike paths throughout Bristol so it’s easy to get around. Our guide was knowledgeable about the city’s long and colorful history. I highly recommend for anyone in the mood for plain old good time!
This was a great way to see Bristol. Our guide was fantastic and was very knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely recommend!
Lovely excursion, saw the city and learned lots. Nice little run on the bike, very flat! Have visited the city many times before but still saw new places and learned more about the history. Sam was a great guide.
Lovely excursion, saw the city and learned lots. Nice little run on the bike, very flat! Sam was a great guide.
Amazing tour with guide, Sam. Would highly recommend ! Good overview of the city sights and good history/fun facts from Sam.
Really good trip, Owen was great and k new his stuff. Took us to some fantastic places. Something for everyone. Bikes were simple and easy to use. Great value for money too
We were taken on a magical tour of Bristol seen so much more than strolling around . Our guide was friendly knowledgeable and informative. Highly recommend.
Hired 2 x bikes to cycle from Bristol to bath about 14 miles . Lovely cycle on the flat railway line to bath and got the train back. Lovely coffee & food spot half way at an old train station so you won’t go hungry. Louis was very helpful setting up the bikes . Definitely get the padded cushions for the bikes. We kept the bikes over night as wouldn’t be back by 5pm. The bikes were very good . Would definitely do it again . Dave
The tour was a mix of street art, Bristol's history and arcitecture, among other stops. The ride was easy, and even in the rain it was enjoyable! I was in Bristol for 1.5 days so it was a great way to get around and see the sights 🙂
We had a great bike tour yesterday. Our guide Luke was a lovely guy and really knew his stuff. We were in a small group of 6 which was perfect. The bikes were in excellent condition and the route was really well planned. There are loads of bike lanes in the city which meant we managed to avoid all the busy roads. Would totally recommend.
This is a really enjoyable tour, the bikes are really easy to cycle, the tour guide was excellent, lots of interesting stops with great information. We had a few issues getting to the start due to traffic but they were great at ensuring all went smoothly. Thanks for a great few hours
The guide was knowledgeable. The sights were fantastic. We covered a lot of ground. The bike Tour was an excellent way to get orientated to the city.
Wonderful experience on this bike tour! Luke was a great guide who was very knowledgeable about Bristol’s history particularly the street art. Highly recommend!
Caitlin was our tour guide. There were 4 solo travelers and Caitlin accommodated all of us. She listened well and if we were curious about anything she was able to dig in a bit deeper. We stopped at Aardman studios where Wallace and Gromit are created. That probably wasn't normally on the tour, but it was a highlight for me. Our tour occurred on a very hot day in Bristol and Caitlin made sure we were all hydrating and keeping cool in the unusual heat. She's great. I strongly recommend this tour!
We had a great time . Lovely welcome from the young man who got us sorted with the bikes. Owen was our guide. He had some great stories to tell that brought Bristol alive in front of our eyes. He was generous with his time, but kept the pace going with purpose to get through the items on the tour. Would thoroughly recommend !
Owen was a fantastic and enthusiastic guide with great knowledge. He brought the history of Bristol to life as told by the places we visited
Great bike tour, Owen was a fountain of knowledge, we all learnt so much about Bristol even though we all are Somerset born and bred. Would absolutely recommend this bike tour for anyone, fantastic couple of hours 👍🤸🚴
We had a really good guide, very informative and entertaining. It was a beautiful day and it was a lovely city. Couldn’t have asked for better! We would happily take this ride again.
The weather was beautiful for cycling. The day before, it was raining the whole day. There were only 3 of us, including Morton, our guide. He was excellent. He explained well and ensured our safety as we cycled along the roads & people. We are so glad we signed up for this tour.
What a great way to experience Bristol! We covered a lot of ground and saw so many great sights. Luke, our guide, was fantastic.
Had a great guide, good tour of city, lots of art info and town history. Need a way to tip if people don’t have cash. Felt bad we had no $ to tip.
Morton was a brilliant guide - he has made Bristol, her history and geography come alive for me. Thank you. A fantastic cycle company. WELL DONE GUYS !
Great bike tour, brilliant way to see and learn about Bristol during our brief visit. Morton was a fantastic, knowledgeable guide.
Great tour. Guide was very knowledgeable.Just long enough.I would recommend it to anyone of any age.
Highly recommend this tour ! Perfect for adults and reluctant teens lots of info from our knowledgeable and friendly guide. Covered lots of sights and got a great taster of Bristol’s culture and history. Great city ! Thank you
We really enjoyed our Bike Tour. It was a great way to see Bristol as we only had a short stay. Saw heaps of stuff we wouldn’t have seen on our own. We particularly enjoyed the street art & Banksy works. Mike had great local knowledge. Thanks Mike & James. We will remember our Bristol trip fondly
A great way to see Bristol - the bikes were fab and the route was interesting and doable. Mike our guide was a history buff so v knowledgeable but still fun too - he also supplied us with one ear headphones so we could hear him along the way. All in all a great experience thanks 👍
We decided to go ahead despite the weather, it was a very personable tour with lots of high lights and diverting stories.
What a great way to learn all about the historical city of Bristol. Mike was a very knowledgeable guide.
Fabulous tour around Bristol Mike gave us so much knowledge about Bristol Very friendly and professional Good bikes which are easy to ride
Great experience, definitely a great way to see the city. Our guide Morton was brilliant, very knowledgeable, we certainly saw and learnt a lot more about the area than we would ever have done on our own. Would highly recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your Bristol stay, so that you can plan where to go back and visit.
Luke was our tour guide and was a wealth of knowledge when it came to the art /history or Bristol! Perfect way to get the highlights in a couple hours. And you get fresh air and exercise to boot!!
Luke was great fun and we covered so much ground! A top experience and a fab way to see Bristol. Good to have historical elements mixed with modern day tales so everyone got something out of it and our guide was great.
I had a great day out and would highly recommend this tour to anyone. An excellent way to see the city and will look to book again.
Brilliant experience from start to finish. Loved this tour! The bikes are lovely and Bristol’s a great city to explore on two wheels.
It was a great way to spend an afternoon in Bristol! The highlight of my trip. Thanks Luke and Cycle the City! Loved it!!
The tour was great, the guide was pleasant and friendly, we highly recommend this tour. The journey was smooth and not tiring.
Great bike tour through Bristol. With this, you can see as much of the city as possible in the shortest amount of time. And at a very good price. Charlie the tour guide had tons of info and was also able to answer all detailed questions perfectly. On the tour, you also pass by two works by Banksy. The funny thing was that the guide seemed the most unsure on the bike out of all the participants. 😂 Interestingly, that makes you feel much safer right away: If the guide can get through the city like that, then I can easily do it too. 😄 So maybe that was intentional, and definitely a strategy to make it easier for people. The bikes are great and comfortable to ride. The staff makes an effort to find suitable sizes and adjust them accordingly. I had a lot of fun and can only recommend the tour.
During our city trips, a bike tour through the city is a must. This tour was also great: our guide Mike told a lot about the history of Bristol, including the unpleasant parts. Learned a lot and seen a lot. The route mostly goes through the lower - water - located part of Bristol, has only a few climbs, mainly goes along cycle paths and the necessary Banksy locations are naturally visited. Recommendation!
