Fun, Flexible Treasure Hunt Around Bristol With Cryptic Clues & Hidden Gems

It was very enjoyable but the bridge is now down so couldn’t cross.

A brilliantly simple idea for a team social, thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who came. Very easy to organise, and a great way to get the team out for an afternoon having fun and enjoying the sights of Bristol.

Had a great time doing this treasure hunt on a sunny Saturday afternoon! We’re both born and bred in Bristol but fancied acting like tourists for the day, and we had a great time and learned things about the city we didn’t know before!

It was a lot of fun. The clues were cryptic enough to not make them easy to find. But hard enough to get you thinking. I really enjoyed the tour around Bristol and would recommend this to anyone.

A great way to explore Bristol with 2 teenagers. We weren’t being competitive, it was a chance for us to learn more about the city. It worked well for us as we saw a variety of places , some of which we then came back to the following day. The teenagers weren’t bothered by the nautical theme but my husband and I quite enjoyed it, it seemed apt for the location. Highly recommend as a way of exploring a new city, either with family (of any age) or friends. We’ll definitely look for other ones in other cities.

The experience was fun, and informative, learning more about Bristol than we did before. There was three generations in our party and all of us enjoyed the experience. We laughed, waked and puzzled over some of the clues but did finish all of them. I would recommend this experience to all.

Well thought-out treasure hunt which took us around the different parts of the city. Instructions were easy to follow and most of the clues were relatively easy to find and solve. Great suggestions for places to stop for drinks and snacks along the way. Overall a very enjoyable experience!

Good fun, saw somethings we hadn’t noticed before and the walking was in manageable bites so didn’t feel like it was too much. There weren’t as many clues as I had expected but still a fun afternoon.

A cute treasure hunt all around the main parts of Bristol. It was not too long and had lots of interesting info! I did it solo and it was pretty good but would be nice as a group activity :)

Great fun, and we saw lots of lovely parts of Bristol. We finished after early winter darkness, so our last 2 answers were lucky guesses! Lovely to be wandering round after dark with fairy lights twinkling. We didn’t stop for refreshment along the way, taking 2 hours to complete the trail, but there were plenty of opportunities for stops. My Bristol family found it amusing the the starting and finishing point was in a park with a bit of a rough reputation, but we didn’t have any problems! Good fun

We had a terrific time exploring Bristol as part of a team building day. The instructions were clear, the experience on the day was excellent, and the technology worked really well. Thoroughly recommended!

A great activity to do in Bristol. We were lucky to have great autumnal weather and found the interactive tour easy to follow, but with some challenging questions to really make you look around and see things we'd never noticed before. Took us about 2h45 at a leisurely pace including window shopping and a beer break. Great value for money.

The treasure hunt was a fantastic day out for all the family. It was a birthday treat for our 14 year old granddaughter. There were 3 generations, our ages ranging from 9 up to 60’s and we all had a great time. We learnt a lot of interesting facts about the history of Bristol and we have discovered bars we didn’t know existed. Somewhere new for us to go in the future. There were two teams, that was when I discovered how competitive my family was! Watch out for the hints, they are a great help but you loose points. We finished first on speed but lost on points! We would love to do it again with different clues. Thank you for a wonderful day

We visited Bristol for our son’s birthday and decided to see a bit more of the city by joining a treasure hunt. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing various parts of the city and some he hadn’t been to in his 3 years of study! Clues were just enough not to frustrate you but ensure you had a look around. Would definitely recommend and we are going to do more. Different to a walking guide which we would often choose but much more fun!

Never been to Bristol before and didn’t know our way around, this was so amazing to be able to explore the city and play a game while doing so!

Great fun and explored parts that we would never have thought to explore. Easy to navigate and the clues were tricky but not too difficult. Lots of fascinating historical information too.

A fun afternoon out in Bristol. The route stays fairly central so ideal for lunch & pubs etc for refreshments. Learnt lots of new things about the city too.

We decided to do a treasure hunt for a colleague’s retirement and chose this company as we had an idea of whereabouts we’d be walking from the website. Once we knew this we booked a restaurant in the right area for the end. Starting at 6pm we were on a mission to complete the hunt before it got dark. We spent the next two hours walking, running, laughing and working together to solve the clues. Stopping for a quick drink at the Waterfront, we continued on as the rain started but this didn’t deter us! As a group we were familiar with Bristol but discovered lots of new facts and ‘clues’ we would just have walked past usually. Thanks for a great treasure hunt and a fun night out!

A fantastic way to see some really good parts of the city during my sister's hen do weekend. The clues and maps worked really well for our two teams and we all had a wonderful day. Our team found it very funny trying to confuse the other team by pointing and walking in wrong directions on purpose. Would definitely recommend to others!

An excellent treasure hunt! It took us an enjoyable route through Bristol and was true to its promise, delivering a variety of fun clues and hidden gems. We found it surprisingly interesting, revealing aspects of Bristol that were unexpected and thought-provoking. It was clear considerable thought had gone into its development to make it memorable and fun. We're definitely planning to do another! We also liked that the route was mainly flat, was interesting in itself and there were shopping and café opportunities recommended.

A fantastic way to spend a bank holiday. Was so easy to get started and the directions and maps helped ensure we didn’t get too lost! Enjoyed the pirate theme and was very grateful for the ‘hint’ option on a couple of the clues. Learnt lots about Bristol and enjoyed walking around the waterfront area. Would definitely recommend.

Team-Building Fun! If you have ever had to organise a team build, then you will feel my pain! However, our recent experience with a hunt for around 20 colleagues was an absolute hit from start to finish! From booking the hunt, everything was seamless. The level of pre-information provided was spot on, giving us a clear idea of what to expect and how to make the most of the day. The hunt itself was nothing short of excellent. Not only did it provide us with an opportunity to work together as a team, but it also allowed us to inject our own creativity and "spin" into the day, making the experience enjoyable for everyone involved. The clues and flexibility of the day kept everyone engaged and enabled us to have a lot of fun throughout. Despite the weather not being on our side, the flexibility of the hunt allowed us to adapt and keep the momentum going. "Rain checks" became a welcome opportunity to regroup, strategize (so they told me), and stay dry while still enjoying the day. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough! The hunt itself was brilliantly designed, striking the perfect balance between structure and freedom for our teams to add their own creativity. The clues were cleverly crafted, keeping us engaged and entertained throughout the day, and I have to say great value for money! I will definitely be sharing this gem with my colleagues and friends. It's a fantastic way to bond as a team, build camaraderie and develop key skills, all whilst building lasting memories together. To the organisers, thank you for providing us with such an excellent experience. Rain or shine, we can't wait to do it all over again!

We normally do a guided tour but because one member of our group is on crutches, and we knew he wouldn’t be able to keep up with a guided tour, we decided to try this instead because we knew we could build in as many stops as he needed. This was great fun, a really enjoyable way to walk around the city and everyone in the group had fun - I would recommend this to any group wanting to do something a bit different from the usual guided tours. I would definitely recommend that you have a charger for your phone (as recommended in the joining instructions) I forgot to take mine and unfortunately my phone ran out of battery before we’d finished.

We decided to take part in this treasure hunt in Bristol for a birthday get together with the family. Age ranged from 11 up to 73 and it was suitable for all of us, even the oldest technophobe found the What’s App easy to use with no complicated Apps or maps to download. It was a group effort although it did become a bit competitive at times with who could solve the clues first! The booking process was easy and friendly and we would definitely consider doing another one in the future.

We had a great time doing this treasure hunt. It's really fun in its own right, but it's also a fantastic way to see the city. Throughout the rest of our holiday in Bristol we kept finding ourselves back in places the treasure hunt had taken us, proving it had taken us through the most interesting parts of the city. I would definitely recommend!
