Sitting on the site of an early medieval church cellar, this haunted pub has a very long history of ghost sightings dating back centuries.
The origin of the city, this very old bridge which gave the city it's name is also the site of a bloody riot, echoes of which are still heard and felt today.
Possibly the very best street in the city, crammed with historic pubs and a wonderful theatre. Once the haunt of pirates, actors and criminals of all descriptions, this wonderful street is very alive with today with marvellous drinking houses and tales of the dead are everywhere.
A beautiful Georgian Square in the heart of the old docks, are final location of the tour is also very much alive with the hauntings of one of the most bloody events that ever took place on English soil.
Incredible tour. Tobius is an amazing guide with so much charisma and flair. We love doing ghost tours in cities wherever we go, and this was the best one we have ever done. Hands down the best thing we did on our tour to Bristol and Bath as well! There was even some supernatural activity near st Nicholas market, so watch out! 👻
Absolutely fantastic ghost walk in Bath last night. Our guide was amazing, welcoming, really funny, very natural and really engaging. Learnt loads about the history of Bath and was great to explore our beautiful city from another perspective. Thoroughly enjoyable.

It was a very interesting and busy tour. It worked a treat and no one would have missed a thing. A good area was covered and all worth it for the story that was told. Took 2 hours and we didn’t end up where we started - that suited us, due to where our car was. Would have been good to know where the end was - just to plan route home.
Really good night for a spooky stroll through Bristol and it’s dark history. Jimmy our guide was animated and full of stories past and present.

Loved the evening and Mr Skinner was perfect. Really enjoyed it and very interactive.
It was a really good ghost tour. It had rained a bit also, so it had more of a good atmosphere. The guide ( Professor Picric) stayed in character the whole time. Even when she chose me as a volunteer. It was good being involved. It brings the group together more. She told some great stories & gave great knowledge along the way at each point. It was really good value for money & give you something to do for a couple of hours in Bath. It doesn’t matter if you’re on your own or in a group. You’ll definitely enjoy it.
Honestly, this was kinda dumb. Our guide was overly theatrical and dramatic which didn't add to the tour,..it was rather awkward. It probably could have been half as long because everything was drawn out and dramatised. Would have enjoyed more information about Bath and the sites along with the ghost stories. I wouldn't take this tour again and was one of the worst walking tours I've taken in a city.
Jimmy made it a really fun night and it was great to check out the history in the area. I thought it was incredibly good value for money and a well organised tour.
Excellent value for money ghost tour! I booked this tour while visiting Bath and was not disappointed! We had an excellent guide, Mrs Stricnine. The tour lasted 2 hours and we visited many interesting places you would pass by without knowing their gruesome history. Our guide was very informative and funny and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Prices are good value for the length of tour and content. It’s not a tiring walk at all and all places of interest are close by. Well worth it if you’re staying in Bath, I highly recommend it.

Tobias Carver the Bristol butcher was a great walking guide. Stories were good, history was interesting. Interactive parts too. Allowed time at the end for photo opportunities. Would recommend. Even enjoyed by the teenager.

The tour itself was a fun experience and the guide, John, was lovely. However, on the tour two different groups were drinking straight from wine bottles and weren't asked to stop or leave despite alcohol being banned. One of the couples went on to get drunk, giggle constantly, talk or whispher loudly all the time, vape, smoke and smoke weed in the crowd by young children and just attempt to show off before ending the tour making out with each other constantly. Whilst the guide might not have noticed the extent of the disruptions they must have seen or heard the wine bottles. I tried to resolve this privately outside of a review as these things happen but I'm so disappointed that a refund wasn't offered to me that I'm now leaving this review. I'm a low income mum and my and my daughter came from Manchester for the night specifically for the tour as a holiday for her. We paid the same as those who ruined it, and that's not right, they had a great time, I cried from frustration and couldn't enjoy it. My daughter and I are both autistic and the sensory overwhelm we had from smoke and unwanted talking (not to mention the stink of booze on them) was just so disappointing and distressing and I'd expect tour operators with large groups and income to refund me especially when I work as a guide myself in Manchester independently and I'd refund my guests even as a low income guide. I appreciate there might be times that confronting people might lead to an unsafe situation or the worry of a bad review from those guests but what's happened instead is they're prioritised them over the other nearly 40 guests. The individual guides I'm sure are all good, again ours was lovely, but as seems to be the way with larger tour operators they don't seem to value their customers experiences over profit. Drinking is not allowed on the tour, the drinkers should have been asked to leave. Tour wise - lots of good stories and locations. I'd have loved some more of the cool architecture to be woven into it too - the amazing grotesques we meet under were so creepy so make sure to look up whilst you're at the meeting point!
Jimmy took us on a very personal tour as it was just him and the two of us! Needless to say he was very entertaining, informative and made the whole experience really fun. We’re both born and bred in Bristol and we learned a lot about our city that we didn’t know before, and we’ll be keeping an eye out for those ghosties going forward!
A brilliant family friendly ghost tour. Our guide, Mrs Needles, was fantastic! She kept the whole group engaged and my teens, who were less than enthusiastic prior to arrival, thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was a great way to be introduced to Bristol, so informative and interesting. We loved it!

I gave 4 stars only because I think the group was too large and there would have been a greater impact on a smaller crowd also because of the size of the group, I couldn't always hear what he was saying. Ben our Bath guide was absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable and friendly, we were running late due to travel delays. They were very kind to still allow us to do our tour just shortened! Definitely wish that we were able to get the full experience but loved the bit we got! Absolutely recommend doing this tour!
Our guide, Georgia, was very engaging and as well as spinning some interesting stories also share some historical facts about Bath. She also provided some amusing interactions with group members and finished the night in superb fashion. Her interactions with occasional passers-by were superb and amusing and added to the experience.
what a brilliant experience for the whole family! the guide was funny and engaging, he got everyone involved. we got to see parts of Bath we wouldn't have otherwise ventured into and learned a lot about the history of the place... the ghost stories were an added bonus! It's made us want to try a ghost walk in every city we visit!

Booked tour with my son and his partner. From the outset our guide Miss Strychnine was informative and entertaining .She explained a lot about the different eras of history in Bath and countless tales of creepy goings on over the centuries. There were some tales that involved audience participation for those that wanted to and as the evening got darker the spookier it felt. Absolutely would recommend (can’t wait to do another one). The next day walking round Bath I passed the empty shop from the evening tour, I peered into the window then noticed I was standing on a grill to the basement, needless to say the hairs on my neck went up and I scurried off!
First visit to Bristol, we always book on a ghost tour, as a way of seeing parts of a city you wouldn’t necessarily visit. The tour was Fun and full of interesting facts, group participation is a laugh, especially with all the ghost noises, our tour guide was very knowledgeable.
Went on the tour with a friend as part of our break to Bath. The guide John made the whole group of around 15-20 very comfortable, breaking the ice at the start, along with a few jokes and a very good knowledge of the dark history of Bath

I wish I could remember the name of the lady who was our guide, because she was superb! So knowledgeable and highly entertaining. We had a wonderful night and the tour was great value. Over two hours of fascinating tales, which also incorporated group participation. Thoroughly recommend!
