Good value, plus walking distance to the cricket ground. A quick Uber ride into the middle of Bristol. Great cooked breakfast.

Always meet up with friends at the Wellington for a few drinks before going on elsewhere for a meal. Had been told by friends in the passed that it had gone downhill but had never experienced this. I was upset that my glass wasn't clean and had lipstick on the rim. I feel this is just slap dash glasses should be checked when they are taken off the shelf before drinks are dispensed in them. Staff are always polite and friendly. Pub is on a bus route so easy if you want to go into Bristol city centre

We booked a table for drinks and to watch the football match. The bar man was wonderful, had a nice chat and he made us very welcome and even turned up the volume and served us desserts in the 2nd half! Great

Carl the manager is excellent - really welcoming and can’t do enough for you. Izzy and Grace were looking after us and they also were excellent - service with a smile, and again nothing was too much trouble for them. The pub itself is top notch with a good selection of drinks and the food also was very good. The outdoor space is good but has potential to make it better and used more in colder weather, if heaters were installed in the patio area and the old play area was made better use of, for example. Overall I love this pub and we are very lucky to live close by.
