The Beaufort in Raglan is centrally placed with it's own carpark and a large free carpark across the road. Had a lovely pot of tea. Very friendly atmosphere in cozy bar. The pub is quiet large with various seating areas.

Booked a room for the night. As the date to visit drew near re read reviews for the Beaufort, Raglan. Was concerned about the negative reviews. However can only speak as I find. The staff were welcoming. Happy attentive. Yes a couple of aspects of the Beaufort are a little tired. As are many others Hotels. Had the lamb shoulder absolutely delicious. Service immaculate. Bed very comfortable. Shower hot full flow water. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared and cooked not left under heat lamps. Well done the Beaufort the building itself very interesting. The staff brilliant. Would definitely recommend it and stay again when in the area.
We didn't stay here we just came for Sunday lunch. Elements of the lunch were good, my lamb was delicious, the vegetables were generous and well cooked. However the yorkshire puddings and the roast potatoes were woeful, dry, hard and really quite inedible. My husband's two slices of beef were gristly. Such a shame in these tough times when eating out has become a rare treat, to be served a meal you can cook better yourself is disappointing.
I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. We needed somewhere to break up the journey from Pembrokeshire to the East Midlands... The Beaufort is moments from the main road, but nestled in the lovely village of Raglan. It's such a friendly place, comfortable and with a sense of history, like being in a coaching inn, plenty of energy and life but also a traditional feeling I really liked. Best of all were the staff... I had had some health issues on the journey, and the Manager was really kind and looked after me so well. Thank you Beaufort Hotel for rest, restoration and being such a kind and welcoming place to stay.
We went for my birthday dinner , just my husband and I. We booked for 7 but arrived just before 6.30 . We were taken to table straight away and orders taken very promptly. We had whitebait for starters with homemade tartar sauce and a nice salad. Delicious. My husband Jeff had steak ( medium rare ) which he said " best he's ever had!) Very soft and tasty. I had a nice spicy curry . We both had desert , cheesecake and cream for myself and apple crumble and custard for Jeff . There was three young girls waitressing and they had several full table to deal with . All were very pleasant especially Alyssa who made my evening . It was very reasonable in price . With drinks and I had a coffee, it came to £84 . Which was very good for three courses and drinks . We shall go again definitely!
