Very local, didn't stay the night. Disgusting food, left practically half of it, coke was not great something I could have easily don't at home. Gravy was just not great, I like it to be thick not thin, and the Yorkshire puddings weren't great either, honestly if you're looking for a good decent roast dinner place (As this seems like a roast dinner is the only thing that's on the menu) then, either go to the Cedar Tree farm which is very decent, or the plaza which does some great roast dinners as well as starters.
We stayed here for 1 night and what an absolute GEM of a hotel. Super clean rooms, comfy beds and excellent staff. We had the breakfast which was cooked fresh. If I was every to come back to Cardiff I would check the availability of this hotel first.
I stayed here for work, so there was just me and I needed the basics and value. What I got was a very nice room which looked recently renovated and had everything I needed. I was in what would have been the loft space, so there were some areas of sloped, low ceiling, but that was avoidable. The room did get quite warm, but the sun lights both opened allowing cool, fresh air through the large and comfortable room. I would definitely stay again for work. It was a 20 minute walk into Cardiff (maybe longer for slower walkers), but there were plenty of restaurants, shops and bars nearby.
Stayed for one night, room was very clean and I had a very good night's sleep. Nice breakfast and all the staff were helpful and lovely. I would happily stay again if in the area.
Room was spot on.
Its a code to access the front door and room which is brilliant as I dont usually arrive on my first night to the early hours of the morning.
Stella down stairs was decent as well and a great price.
