Our wedding was perfect! Harry, Emily, Lucy and Ash were so helpful throughout planning our wedding. We cannot thank you all enough from the wedding team, food and beverage team and reception and house keeping teams. Our 2 night stay, private breakfast, wedding day and every meeting, menu tasting, sip and see event was perfect. Thank you so so much, we were in tears leaving the following day not just from leaving and our wedding day from being over but from the relationships we've built with the team over the past 2 years. The junior suite (Marquises) that we stayed in was fabulous. It was spacious and very elegantly appointed. It would not be suitable for anyone with a mobility issue as there were 4 very steep stairs to the bathroom. The bathroom itself was very large and clean.
As this is a grade 2* hotel be aware that there is no elevator and no air conditioning. They provide fans and with windows open it was very pleasant.
The breakfast was good. Dinner was good and considerably better value than the afternoon tea (which we would not recommend as it lacked refinement in delivery, presentation and experience).
Overall a good stay on the outskirts of Cardiff with beautiful views over the city.
We had the best day for our wedding. Great venue, great food, great accomodation and the staff all round were fantastic. The day went so smoothly. Leading up to the wedding the staff were so helpful.
We have had so much good feed back from all of our guests. We wish we could do it all over.

We’ve just had our wedding at this venue and it was just an absolute dream. The location is beautiful with breathtaking views across Cardiff, the food was perfection, and the staff are just so lovely - they go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are all stunning, and the housekeeping team are so helpful. The organisation amongst both the events team and the reception team was faultless, and every single little detail was fully taken care of - we didn’t have to worry about a single thing because we knew we were in such good hands. We can’t thank everyone at New House enough for our perfect day, we couldn’t have imagined our wedding being held anywhere else. We can’t wait to return for some mini breaks, just so we can stay at this fabulous place again. Absolutely perfect, thank you! ❤️
