We just did the coastal tour with Cicley! It was a beautiful day, along a safe cycle path with great views. Cicely stopped along the way with great snippets of local history and interesting points to see. She was a really lovely guide. The gentleman passing out the bikes was very friendly too. Highly recommend!
Our guide was very nice and knowledgable. The tour allowed us to see parts of Brighton we would not have seen on our own and it was informative and fun.
Amazing views of the white cliffs, a nice ride to Rottingdean, we were impressed And our guide Duncan had some nice stories to tell
One of the best tours we ever did. The owner was a delight to listen to. She even has a beautiful singing voice when she did a poem of Kipling. Absolute must do, when in Brighton
Beautiful views and friendly staff! We had a very good time and got great exercise. It was a lovely morning activity.
Fabulous cycle ride along the coast path to Rottingdean....very exhilarating & fun. Cicely was an excellent guide very knowledgeable and some great tips for getting to know the city I've just moved too.
Duncan! Thank you very much for showing us a wonderful time and a pleasant tour. We loved the history, the little jaunt over to Rottingdean, and especially your song. I’ll recommend it to any friends in the area. Cheers!
The bike tour was fun! As a cycling beginner, I was being taken care of by the tour guide Duncan. The coastal tour is flat and easy which is suitable for all levels of cycling experience and ages. Although it was quite busy in the city and beach front. The view of undercliff was amazing!! Although the tour is 2.5 hours, it was not difficult. In fact, we even did some city tour then to the coast on Sunday (23rd June). Thanks for Duncan’s encouragement and compliment, the tour gave me more confidence on cycling. Yesterday, I even cycled from London to Windsor Castle!! If I would not have joined the tour, I wouldn’t be confident to cycle outside of London! Highly recommend this tour for everybody who loves cycling and nature! 😁
Duncan was fabulous, we learned so much about Brighton and enjoyed the route along the undercliff path to Rottingdean. Would highly recommend this tour.
We had a great time on the tour. The guide told us that, in the end, we'd probably gone around 15km! It was one of the best ways to see the city, coast, and surrounding areas and we even fit in time for a little pub stop!
Really enjoyed the bike tour led by Cicely who was full of interesting information about the area. Highlight was riding along the under cliff path past waves crashing against the shore nearby. The wet weather didn’t dampen our enjoyment at all!
This was the second tour these past couple of days with Brighton Bike Tours. Both Cecilly and Duncan put a fantastic tour together. The laminated pictures to give more perspective to the historic areas was pretty much the icing on the cake! Thoroughly enjoyed the City Tour (lots of Brighton history info), and Costal Tour was so scenic. We stopped over at a small pictersque pub in Rottingdean, and that was a nice touch on the already scenic tour.
We had a great time biking across the lovely coasts of Brighton, it was a nice and a moderately sunny day, with the waves occasionally splashing on us to add to our excitement!! Our guides- Cecily and Duncan were very sweet and helpful through out, we weren’t a seasoned bike riders and took some extra time to reach the destinations and they were always around chatting and making us feel a part of the group ❤️ Also they were so kind to capture some of our bike riding moments which we will cherish for ever! Thank you Cecily and Duncan for such a wonderful experience 🙏😍 Thank you Nilima and Prathibha
Duncan brought our family for an enjoyable coastal bike tour. During the trip, he explained a lot of history of Brighton with pictures of the early years. We were lucky to have a bright sunny morning with mild wind and it is highly recommended to enjoy Brighton by bicycle.
Lovely way to get in the highlights of Brighton. Felt like a local and safe, kind guide, mostly level riding, plenty of breaks for information and a sip of water.
We had a fabulous bike tour with Cicely. I was a little anxious as I had not been on a bike for a long time. All was fine and we could not have asked for more. Brighton has lots of wonderful bike lanes making everything very accessible. Despite knowing Brighton, it was so good to get a more detailed history and learn more about it and by cycling you got to know how everything joined up. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about Brighton and get a feeling for your surroundings. Thank you Cicely and Duncan for providing such a memorable afternoon.
We walked around Brighton before the tour began but wold never have gotten to know Brighton like we did if we hadn't spent the afternoon riding with Cecily. she was very sweet, knowledgeable and we would have missed the best parts of the city if we didn't have her guidance. Biking with a local is definitely the best way to really feel you have gotten to know a town. Duncan and Cecily. were great and the bikes were comfortable..
Duncan, the tour guide, made this Tour. His local knowledge and stopping at all the key places made for an exceptional tour
Yesterday we had a wonderful team day out with Ian and Duncan as our cycle guides. 14 people all different levels enjoyed a gentle ride through the city and along the beach front to Rottingdean where some of us had a swim in the bay and then we all lunch at the White Horse overlooking the bay. It’s an easy flat 4 miles each way ride and our guides made it very interesting with their local knowledge. We had an absolutely wonderful time
Excellent tour! Couldn’t have asked for a better way to get to know Brighton in the day that l visited. Guide knew the city and its history intimately and was able to take excellent photos and provide a custom recommendation for the rest of my day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting!
Could not recommend this enough. Carlo was funny, engaging, informative and friendly and made the experience superb! Great tour of Brighton and the best way to really get to see the city and everything it has to offer. 10/10
Bike tour with Carlo is the best way to see Brighton he is so knowledgeable of the history of the area. I absolutely loved the ride around seeing parts we would have never have seen. This is definitely something to do in brighton
Having done this tour with Carlo earlier this summer when visiting Brighton with friends, I loved it so much, I booked to go again with the family this half term. Carlo was just as good second time round and even manage to make my teenage girls forget their phones for a few hours. He kept both the adults and kids in our party giggling. We love his knowledge, musical tastes and passion for this mad, bonkers, fab city.
Well where to start, Carlo is a great guide and was full of wonderful facts and great knowledge of pretty much every building/street we visited. He has an awesome sense of humour and makes you laugh every time the opportunity arises! The tour was fantastic with great views, amazing architect and to be honest a really nice relaxed bike ride that you can really enjoy! I would highly recommend doing this bike tour for the sights and ride itself and Carlo makes it that much more enjoyable! PS, the man takes amazing photos and gives you great memories to look back on!
We really enjoyed the bike tour. Carlo was very knowledgeable and articulate and showed a great sense of humour which made the trip all the more fun. There was also consideration for a pit stop involving a drink and convenience break. All in all there was nothing to fault!
We had a brilliant time on our tour, you get to cover a lot of ground on the bikes - so you feel like you've seen lots of Brighton! It's a great route which takes you through all the main attractions, as well as some added bonus sights. It's very flat, so not too strenuous - no lycra required! Carlo is a great tour guide, really helpful and funny, and he offered some great recommendations for Brighton. He's also a great photographer and takes some nice photos of you at different sights. A great way to see the city!
My daughters, 9 and 11, and I had a great time with Carlo. He was entertaining and told us interesting stories about Brighton. We loved the ride - it was just the right amount of time and distance. Not only is Carlo a great tour guide, he is also a fab photograhper! Thank you for a great afternoon! Thank you!
Very interesting, and Carlos sure does know his towns history, enjoyed every minute of it, despite the hide and seek with rain showers, it was fun, would recommend to anyone looking for a day trip
Amazing customer service with directions and even allowed us to use the bathroom. We had a great time
Absolutely brilliant - funny and informative …. Really really good fun - Carlo was really good at making the tour work for everyone
Such an enjoyable experience, as far as bike tours go I would give this one top marks. Carlo is an excellent tour guide, he was very knowledgeable, sharp and funny. He was also very experienced and accommodating, allowing us to go at our own ‘slow’ pace. He provided a full and interesting history of Brighton from centuries ago right up to the present day, I could have listened to Carlo all day long!! Highly recommended 👍.
Carlo was brilliant and clearly knows his stuff about Brighton. This is a fantastic and fun way to see the place highly recommend. I was a bit nervous about traffic on a bike but I needn’t have worried Brighton has so many cycle paths and parks it was easy
Amazing morning on the bikes with Carlo! The tour was fun and informative, we thoroughly enjoyed and it gave us a lot of inspiration for the rest of our trip. Carlo also kindly took plenty of photos of us with the bikes/sights which were much appreciated.
Carlo was a great host, very knowledgeable and great banter making the ride fun. We the main parts and had the option to go to a few boozers in between. Would recommend
Amazing tour, really good activity for your first day in Brighton. Carlo was super informative and really friendly. He made us feel at ease straight away and had planned a great route with just enough stopping points to take in the scenery. He let us keep our luggage in a secure location and gave us a map with highlighted venues he thought would interest us during our stay. Definitely worth the price, and good to do as soon as your arrive so that you learn where everything is and get good restaurant advice. Thanks Carlo!! X
The whole experience was great, Carlo was a great host , with good local knowledge the whole tour took 2 1/2 hours which went very quickly , Carlo also put on a map other points of interest and eating places, highly recommend this tour
Carlo was a great guide. Our teenage kids enjoyed it which was a bonus and were introduced to the music, art and history of Brighton.
A very informative tour with good bikes at a sensible pace. Carlo was great, we really enjoyed the experience, and would highly recommend as a good introduction to Brighton.
Carlo was a great tour and took us to see all of Brighton's top sights with a fantastic back story to each stop. He had us all laughing out loud (2 teenagers included!) to many of the tales and we would recommend the tour to anyone who wants to find their feet and get to know Brighton from a local. Thank you Carlo!
This was an absolutely incredible experience, Carlo was so knowledgable and really personable, I think this was the best activity we did in Brighton!
We booked the tour and arrived and found it was just myself and wife on the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and especially Carlos’s company and also his photography skills!! Carlo took us to all of the main attractions and even recommended where to eat and drink, we loved his recommendations. We are so glad we took the tour and would do it again should we to return to Brighton. Thanks Carlo! Adam and Karen
Carlo is a knowledgeable tour guide, interspersing knowledge and humour throughout the tour. He knows the city well and we learned a lot more in the time with Carlo than would have been possible on our own. Only the two of us along with Carlo and the pace was neither too fast nor slow. Would definitely recommend this and would go again if the opportunity arises.
Fab way to see Brighton. Carlos was fantastic - relaxed and informative. So easy to book and arrange. Easy and safe cycling, even if not a regular cyclist, Carlos is a great photographer too! Thank you for a really enjoyable afternoon. Will definitely recommend to others.
(Family of 4) Just had a fantastic tour with Carlos. Great information and great fun. Our 17 year old son said it was the best tour has ever been on (which is praise indeed). The weather was drizzly but that did not dampen Carlos’ enthusiasm and fun. Top marks all round, loved it and would highly recommend.
I'm so glad that we did this tour. It was fun. We had only 1 day in Brighton and t if we didn't have this tour, we would not have had time to see the whole coast. Carlo was so kind and friendly. Besides guiding, he gave us great suggestions about where to eat/drink and took awesome photos of us! His photography skills are definitely on point!
Friendly and knowledgeable host , well worth doing and good fun. Cycling route flat and also felt safe.
What a great way to see and hear interesting facts about Brighton, Carlo is a great guide so friendly and can answer any questions about where to eat and visit etc, he is also a great photographer 😀. We really enjoyed our time with him and would recommend this tour to everybody..
We absolutely enjoy this tour, so glad we did it. The bikes were easy to ride and light to manoeuvre. Carlo was an entertaining and knowledgeable guide, who ensured our tour was safe and fulfilled. I would definitely recommend this tour when visiting Brighton.
